About a year ago in March I was struck by a snowboarder and suffered several injuries, a laceration between my eyes resulting in 12 stitches, a broken nose, two death teeth, torn pcl/lateral meniscus and broken patella. I also had blood clots for 6 months. It was an event that turned my life upside down and I truly felt helpless. John is the best! I am retired attorney and so I can spot the good ones! I have had a long standing tax problem because of a business that closed almost a decade ago. I had tried everything to get it under control with no luck. I had tried all of the radio advertising tax services that you hear the commercials for- and got nothing. I had been through two of those tax services trying to get a refund owed my wife to no avail. I hired John and almost instantly he diagnosed the problem and set out to fix it and obtained the refund for my wife in short order. I also have an ongoing issue that he manages for me. It really is not resolvable in the near future- but John keeps the boogeyman away. He also prepares our taxes. He will make you feel reassured that you have someone who is truly an expert in tax issues. He is a lawyer with an advanced degree in tax. He is the real deal. That is what you need. You don't want to have to to worry about the qualifications of the guy you hire. What's more- he returns your phone calls and emails and texts promptly. The other day, I received a notice from the IRS in the mail. It scared me to death. He returned my text within 15 minutes. That's a miracle! So you can put your trust in John!

John and the team at McGuire are unbelievably good. The IRS and the State of Louisiana were after me for a total of $325,000 in unpaid payroll taxes for the family business that I was affiliated with years ago. This situation was threatening to tear my marriage and my entire life apart. When the situation hit me, I contacted a dozen law firms and received a lot of "gloom and doom" talk along with requests for me to visit them and pay for a consultation. John was different - he was on it from the start and had a positive outlook. He was very easy and pleasant to work with always worked around my schedule. He and his team were so good throughout the entire process in managing both my case and my anxieties. John is extremely knowledgeable and was always genuinely optimistic about my case (much more optimistic than I was). The hard, smart, optimistic and aggressive work of the people at McGuire paid of as they got my personal liability reduced from $325,000 to $0! John and the the team got goth the IRS and the State of Louisiana to clear my record and drop all collection activity against me. The most incredible part is that McGuire got this done within 5 months after I engaged them! There is no doubt in my mind that John and the team at McGuire are the best out there.

Our relationship with David Kolko began way back around 2003. We arrived in the US mid 2001 on my wife's H1B visa, with myself and our son as her dependents. We decided we needed more, and so approached David at Kolko and Associates. He was extremely knowledgeable and managed to get me a R1 visa that allowed me to work in Catholic schools. Once this was done he discovered that if we proceeded through the religious visa route that we would be able to receive our permanent resident card quicker, by not having to go the H1B route. This ended up being true and we received our "green cards" in December of 2015. Almost 10 years later, we decided it was time to become citizens and again had David represent us and ensure we did everything the right way. Being immigrants and having to deal with immigration was and is to us a very daunting task, so using David Kolko was well worth the money spent. I cannot recommend David Kolko and the staff at Kolko and Associates highly enough. They will always be referred to by myself and my wife for any person needing help with immigration.

Jake and his team took on my case when I had a hard time finding someone to represent me due to being in the military and moving out of state. The case took a while due to all my medical issues and tracking down my records but his team stayed persistent throughout the whole process. He was able to negotiate my settlement and make sure all medical providers and insurance companies involvied were satisfied. Lastly he and his team were able to secure a fair settlement for my pain and suffering. Nothing can restore me to full health but it will help me continue treatment and manage my pain moving forward. Does Olson Law use a call center to answer their phones? I had someone named Jalen, an extremely young male, answer that didn't tell me where he was answering the phone at and didn't answer even one question i asked, he just kept kinda using a script. He said he was a receptionist for Olson Law, but did not sound like someone id let answer a phone. I needed to know if i had already called this particular firm and if so what they're reason for not filing a complaint or getting one started was. I have a TBI im almost done with but finding a lawyer to get started on that while still receiving care as a legal newbie is hard work because im not getting hepful people (across the board) im getting push back instead. Like someone should be like omg lets get started, ill start the review, you continue care, and ill ask questions along the way before i start a complaint. But im not getting that. im getting a lot of pointless conversation. If im in the wrong location, maybe someone can point me in the right direction. Is it the city, the neighborhood, is the case too hard, are they too busy, is there a conflict of interest with the hospital im suing or something? Like scared to sue? I dont get it... Does Olson Law use a call center to answer their phones? I had someone named Jalen, an extremely young male, answer that didn't tell me where he was answering the phone at and didn't answer even one question i asked, he just kept kinda using a script. He said he was a receptionist for Olson Law, but did not sound like someone id let answer a phone. I needed to know if i had already called this particular firm and if so what they're reason for not filing a complaint or getting one started was. I have a TBI im almost done with but finding a lawyer to get started on that while still receiving care as a legal newbie is hard work because im not getting hepful people (across the board) im getting push back instead. Like someone should be like omg lets get started, ill start the review, you continue care, and ill ask questions along the way before i start a complaint. But im not getting that. im getting a lot of pointless conversation. If im in the wrong location, maybe someone can point me in the right direction. Is it the city, the neighborhood, is the case too hard, are they too busy, is there a conflict of interest with the hospital im suing or something? Like scared to sue? I dont get it... My wifes lawyer with this firm asked me to leave her meeting with him regarding upcoming disability hearing. I do not understand why, I am the spouse and should have been allowed to set in. This is 2nd time he has did this to me. The first time he had no problem me writting him a check, retainer. I just do not understand! My wife sets in when I meet with my attorney. Just in closing I feel this is wrong. I will never recommend any one to him. Nothing against the firm and the other lawyers. I doubt they treat there married clients this way
