Case: DHS founded finding appeal.
Result: The finding was overturned.
John won the case. I had an appeal of a DHS founded finding and John represented me after I consulted him. Over the course of several months John and I were in frequent communication about the case. This communication was in the form of phone calls and meetings in his office. As this was my preference with communicating. We were able to plan our approach to the Attorney General and work towards overturning the DHS finding. The appeal was successful and as result the findings overturned.
John is highly versed with appeals. During his career he exposed biased determinations made by DHS. He explained the intimidation tactics often used by the government leading up to these hearings and assured me, he would be able to effectively litigate our case.
I highly recommend John. He takes the time to listen to you. You can call him and he will listen to everything you have to say. That was incredibly important to me, and I’m very appreciative of the professionalism. With decades of practicing law his wealth of knowledge is what sets him apart.

Thank you both to Attorney Conor Stewartson and Paralegal Diane Barrera at Colorado Legal Defense Group for representing our daughter in her criminal defense case.
My husband and I spoke to several Attorney firms to help us and after speaking with Diane and the Intake Attorney Cole Presnell, we decided to go with their firm. I can honestly say that Diane was key in helping us make the decision to use their firm. She was very understanding and genuinely cared, being a mother herself. She was available early on and even followed up to make sure we landed safely in CO that same evening to be there for our daughter.
Conor was assigned to our case and I was advised although he was new with the firm he had an extensive background as a Criminal defense Attorney. Initially, I was concerned w/him being new to the firm but after speaking with him, doing a background check and reading up on him, he put those concerns to rest.
There were times it was difficult to get a hold of Conor but my understanding was his contact phone was still being setup at the time, since he was new w/the firm. But he did return my call when I really needed him over the weekend on a late evening. Also, Diane was always available even on weekends (not normal or expected) and kept the communication going if Conor was not available due to being in court or working w/another client.
Ultimately, the outcome of our case was in our daughter's favor and it was completely dismissed all due to the hard work of both Conor and Diane. Their skill set and ability to do what they do, fighting on our daughter's behalf produced the best outcome possible and we are so thankful to them both!
The billing process early on was easy and in speaking w/Diane that was not even a concern at the time with what was going on. Which truly shows the caliber of the firm and their people as a whole of who they are and what they are about.
We are thankful to both Conor and Diane and are truly blessed to have been represented by them, but as I mentioned to Diane, we pray we never need their services again! But would definitely recommend them and the firm if we ever needed legal help.

James Cordes provided terrible advice. His drafting was sloppy and required extensive redrafting by opposing counsel, and he advised me to take a terrible deal. Because of James, I am taking home a fraction of my income. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize how bad it was until firing him and employing new counsel. He is a nice man, but a bad lawyer. I wish I had gotten a second opinion before it was too late.

I have come in contact with many attorneys and I am often not impressed and surprised by the lack of knowledge and understanding of the law most attorneys have. Very few lawyers are on point with the law and how it specifically relates to your case. Not Keith. I am so impressed with his knowledge and understanding of the law. HE GETS IT, he just gets it. I've been hearing whispers about this boy genius and the professionalism of his law firm- and, let me tell you, they are true! (I don't know any other attorneys under the age of 40 that have written 2 legislative bills- do you?) It is so refreshing to see an attorney be so incredibly smart and also use his intelligence to help people, instead of being greedy. Yes, I am biased! But you will be too if you use this firm! My case is still ongoing, and I don't want to jinx the outcome, but so far, I'm just super impressed and ridiculously happy with the results. I will update this post at the resolution of my case. I am also going to review Matt Dall, the other attorney at Gantenbein Law Firm, that has been working with Keith on this case- he is amazing, too! I was hours away from loosing the ability to just fight for my family home just months after my father had passed. He had been trying for nine months to get a refinance. I found this firm as my last resort I was heart broken disillusion and just down right defeated. Keith personally called me late that evening after I had spoken with his lovely warm receptionist. I was frantic he explained in terms I could understand what needed to be done and we were not out of time. do. I the payments were for two separate jobs, he took both
