I would like to begin by expressing that if you happen find yourself in a legal proceedings, I highly recommend that you take the time to read my account. I endured a truly harrowing lawsuit against a former lawyer from a law firm that had previously represented me. Initially, I had entrusted my case to his partner, whom I had no previous acquaintance with. However , it transpired that he ended up filing a lawsuit against both me and his partner, ultimately causing the dissolution of the law firm. Throughout the course of more than 12 years, I found myself defended by two different lawyers, who unfortunately passed away at different times. The lawyer who brought the lawsuit against me inundated the court with a multitude of motions. Roughly a year ago, Tom Stagg and his associate, Brian Lacoff came into the picture. They had the arduous task of sifting through thousands of documents in order to fully grasp the intricacies of the very complex case. I was introduced to Tom through a friend, and despite having no prior knowledge of him, I can say that he is by far, the most honorable, trustworthy, and knowledgeble attorney I have had the privilege of speaking to in my over seven decades of experience dealing with lawyers. Having owned my own business which employed anywhere from 60 to 80 individuals, I have had ample interactions with numerous lawyers. However, when it came to tackling this particular case head-on, Tom, along with his colleague Brian, truly went above and beyond. Trust me when I say that this was no ordinary or run-of-the-mill lawsuit; it was an absolute nightmare, We were fully prepared to go to trial, but Tom skillfully negotiated a settlement that none of us ever believed would be attainable. Stagg Wabnik is an incredibly reputable and knowledgeable law firm that consistently achieves favorable outcomes. all that remains for me to say is that had I met Tom Stagg over 12 years ago, this living nighmare of a lawsuit would have concluded in less then a year from its inception. Lastly, I would like to express my gratitude to Tom Stagg and Brian Lacoff, not only for their exceptional legal representation but also for the invaluable assistance they provided to both my wife and me during this trying time. A few years back Len Sperber handled a lawsuit against our company for a liability claim. The company that handled our insurance found a loophole in our policy and denied insurance for that claim. End result several months later, what could have been a financial disaster ended in a sigh of relief. It was settled for $1000. Need I say more

I tried getting in touch with my attorney multiple times, they never call back. I've been switched between 4 lawyers in 7 months and when something important happens they need to learn my case. I called to speak to a manager and she was REALLY rude, acting like I should thank her for getting me information I should have had a month ago, as stated in a letter that she kept denying to be true. If an owner or one of the main partners can get in touch, give me a call, same email as the one I used for your firm, you should be able to find my number. Otherwise I'm putting in a formal complaint in a 2 page letter I recieved from the complaint department. I'll give it til friday before I fill it out. I hope someone finally does the right thing and can acknowledge that I shouldn't have been called 20 minutes before my case to be introduced to the lawyer who would be representing me that I never spoke to before. Nothing has been smooth, ESPECIALLY getting a call back in the same week, none the less, it usually takes 2 weeks to get in contact and it's because I called back. I either want a solid lawyer from your firm that I speak to and they represent me, or i want you removed without pay. I'm hoping it's a specific lawyer who will be in touch, and if so, I'll remove this review. If not, on Friday I'm filing the formal complaint against the office.
Edit: in response to your reply, because i cant find the reply button for whatever reason.
If I call because I have a question, and 9/10 times I dont even get a cal back, then you're just flat out disrespectful and ok with it? because I have called and get no response. Ive had 4 different paralegals saying they were the new paralegal, and on my november hearing, i got a call 20 minutes from the hearing by the lawyer representing me, was not who i was told was supposed to represent me, and asked me for a run down on thr case 20 minutes before we were on call with the judge. Really unprofesssional, and your response, talking about my case and specific things, will be added to the call from the bar association.
It's nobody's business what kind of case with you, thats part of attorney client privelage. I took a snapshot, so dont worry about deleting it

Once we laid the foundation for our attorney-client relationship, he gave me several options including a straight contingency fee, a retainer/hourly rate fee structure or a hybrid of the two. His bills were always reasonable and when I questioned something he made sure to discuss it with me in person until I was satisfied. Most importantly, he did a fantastic job representing me and my small business when we needed a civil litigation attorney. I engaged Siegel Law after spending 5 years trying to get my HOA to take accountability for the adequate delivery of some pretty basic services. Since HOAs are unregulated in NY, all of the state and local government officials I contacted were either unable or unwilling to help. Mr. Siegel and Mr. Kupferberg dedicated themselves to attempting every possible way to avoid litigation but ended up resolving the matter by initiating litigation. I’m pleased to say that the HOA is now more responsive since their encounter with Siegel Law and I’ve had no further difficulty with them. I’m eternally grateful to Brad and Michael for their persistence.

I was looking for help with my situation with my employment. I had been treated terribly at a place where I brought in a lot of business. Brad and his partner were interested. I sent them documents about my case. I do not think they ever read a document. The day they were meeting with my employer, the guy is lying. Brad has all the proof at his finger tips but he never bothered to read what I sent him. Brad was in a meeting with them for an hour and a half. When the meeting was over, he called my cell number but my voicemail was full he said. And then he said he did not call me again because “I have other important clients.” Then he told me what I told them my employer was going to say. And then he said, “They said you have mental problems.” Now I believe that is illegal to say but there were three lawyers in the room and I do not know what else was said because he did not tell me if he even defended me. My manager said something like that to me in October 2022 when I was complaining of how I have been treated. See I brought in millions of dollars of business and the big shot boss literally stole my client and that was the real reason I was discarded. But my attorney did nothing, said nothing, he had the documents right in front of him on his cellphone. I am still stunned.

Brad was engaged to help us with a neighbor noise issue. Not only did he send out the requisite demand letter, when that didn't help, he sent out another one, which was not included in our agreement. To top it off, he made several phone calls on our behalf to the offending party, on his own initiative, which seems to finally be bearing fruit. Yes, indeed, this is not a free service but a paid consultation. It seems the attorney hung up on me rather than the call being disconnected because I called back, emailed, and texted the office afterward, but nobody responded, apologized, or at least returned my call. His last words before the call ended—or was disconnected, based on his own words—were that "his time is valuable." Such an unprofessional and stuck-up attitude. I was never informed beforehand that I only had 45 minutes to talk.
I believe I talked to Ron Cook. We had an appointment at 4 PM today, and while he was helpful in sending the information, he seemed annoyed when I asked questions. He expects me to read everything on my own and doesn’t want to provide further explanations when I asked him to give me a simple breakdown of how things work again because I was a little confused, and he did not want to provide all the information. He is getting payed to explain things, not to dismiss our concerns. He even mentioned that his time is valuable, but isn’t that exactly why he is getting paid—for his time and expertise? By the end of the conversation he hung up the phone, it felt unprofessional.
This experience reinforces my decision to go to law school. There’s clearly an opportunity in the market for professionals who know how to communicate effectively and treat clients with respect, no matter where they come from or what questions they ask. So far, 7 out of 10 attorneys seem to be quite stuck-up simply for having a JD and whatever piece of paper they get from the government. similar to medical doctors.
