The IRS was levying and collectors calling non-stop. He talked to me on the phone and gave a free consultation. Other lawyers said they didn’t work with the IRS and bankruptcy. He helped with both. He wasn’t cheap but he wasn’t as expensive as the others and he got me out of a bad mess.

This firm is a powerhouse! The talent here doesn't only include the attorney's, but also the paralegals, legal assistants, and even the office staff. This is an eclectic group of well experienced professionals that will know how to represent you at trial, if your case goes that far. There isn't an angle they won't think about to get you the results you are looking for.
I had the pleasure of being represented by Walter Schouten. Ironically, he was referred to me by an attorney that I consulted with. I was told to call Walter because he is very knowledgeable and he's an outstanding trial lawyer. Walter took on my case and he was assisted by an amazing paralegal in Vanessa Enciso. This dynamic duo believed that they could help my situation in securing me a new trial for a custody case. They went to work immediately. This was 2 weeks after I lost at trial while being represented by a different firm.
Long story long...Walter was able to get me a new trial, and he was able to get the judge to change her previous ruling. I am now the custodial parent of my 7 year old son.
I have to admit that even if I wasn't awarded custodial rights, I was more than satisfied with the representation and would have been able to live with the ruling a lot easier. Knowing that I was being properly represented was huge for me. Especially since the previous firm I hired for this case was absolutely terrible.
Thank you Walter, Vanessa, and Team Toombs Imel for everything. Y'all have raised the bar to the clouds for other firms. Thank you for the open communication, trustworthiness, and good vibes.

My wife and I hired John to prepare a will for us. He was very thorough in our initial consultation determining what we wanted In our will and what we would need to provide to him. Once we provided him with necessary info, he turned around a draft to us in a reasonable timeframe. The will was well written and only needed a few minor tweaks. John explained to us in clear terms why several sections of the will and several forms were necessary. In all, very professional and I feel confident in the protections our will provides. John even consulted an out of state lawyer concerning a property held in another state, just to make sure his will would be correct and effective.

I initially reached out to Brandon over the weekend and he picked up on the second ring. I was looking for legal representation for some Surface Right/Easement Agreement Disputes, and it was overly apparent that he was knowledgeable in this area. I interviewed 2 other attorneys, but glad we chose Brandon. I was entered into a legally binding contract as an investor/lender in 2019 pre-Covid. During the middle of the pandemic, the contract had matured and the borrower had not paid back funds. After a year of waiting and stressing out; I decided it was time to take legal action.
Enter Toby -
Toby represented me as the plaintiff and excelled in all that he did. Due to Covid, the court system had slowed down and everything seemed to be taking longer than it usually would. Fortunately, I had Toby on my side and he churned on unfazed. The defendant tried to pull every stop to slow him down but she certainly wasn’t able to keep him from getting a judgement in my favor.
Once Toby was hired, he dealt with the court case and all communications with the defendant once she tried to make direct contact. I never had to be present in court, yet Toby always made me feel like I was in control and made sure I had all the information needed before I made a decision. Through the process, Toby gave suggestions and recommendations on how to move forward and he was ALWAYS right!
Even though the legal case took two years because of how backed up the court system was and an elusive defendant; Toby got it done!
The wheels of justice turn slowly, but grind exceedingly fine and Toby made sure it did.

Toby was all in from the beginning with my case, in which I was a plaintiff pursuing justice for a broken promissory note involving a very large amount of money. The defendant was someone who habitually offended and had received other default judgements against her, but in our case Toby maneuvered through the complexities during a difficult time (the pandemic) and not only did we receive a default judgement, but we RECOVERED our monies, plus interest, court sanctions against the defendant, and all attorneys fees.
Toby Fullmer's knowledge of the law allowed for our success, and I will never forget it. The twists and turns - checkmate and ultimate victory - were due to his thoughtful strategy.
