A couple months I realized I needed to update my old estate planning documents, so I sought a knowledgeable, personable, forward-thinking attorney in Little Rock.
My research led me to Patrick Murphy, and I scheduled a free initial consultation with Patrick via Zoom. That meeting was, perhaps, the best Zoom meeting I've ever had.
Patrick listened to my current estate planning needs, and demonstrated that he understood my areas of concern. He patiently and thoroughly answered my numerous questions in plain English (rather than legalese).
Of course, I hired him to update my estate planning documents. Less than two months later, my new estate planning documents were executed.

Nick Cory is an expert in setting up the legal documents for medical and retirement protection.Nick helped us put in place all the legal documents including wills, power of attoneys and a trust to protect my hiusband and I and our assets for our retirement and our childrens inheritance. I was looking for estate planning during the pandemic since I had recently lost my husband. I ran across videos done by Nic and Daniel Stidham at Stidham Financial. I had probably 5 consults with other law/estate practices prior to this. I ended up engaging with Nic to prepare multiple trusts, will, and healthcare directive. Nic also is my liaison with Cumberland Trust who will manage the trust when I pass. He is very detailed and organized but also very approachable. He is willing to think outside the normal box to find the solution I was envisioning. My properties are in GA and FL and he handled the trusts and deed changes for those seamlessly. I also like the fact they do annual reviews to ensure your documents stay current with what is going on in your life currently. I highly recommend Nic.

Don was successful at removing a mechanic’s lien on my home and evading litigation in a lawsuit brought against me by a residential contractor and his lawyer. Construction law is confusing and Don demonstrated expertise in that area as he left no page unturned and addressed every accusation filed against me (which were several) with swift, aggressive and thorough responses. Mr. Files represented me as the defendant and custodial parent in my paternity, custody, and child support case. I found him to be patient, collected, thorough, and attentive in his legal counsel. He was quick to respond to my emails when needed. I always felt that he was on my team. He is not one of these lawyers who will fill my head with what I wanted to hear just to make a buck, but what I needed to hear to be reasonably prepared for this process.
