I came to Ron feeling very nervous about my new business. I felt lost in a sea of state laws and paperwork, having no idea where to begin. He was not only knowledgeable, he made me feel as if my ‘problems’ were now in his hands, that he would easily handle what needed doing, with very little work on my end. All the while, he kept me fully informed on what was happening and answered any questions I had about the process. Spoke to a lady on the Phone who was Very RUDE TODAY 12/27/2024 @ 1625 hours. I called to speak to a Lawyer or someone For consultaion and she said oh you the one who hung up which I didnt & lost service while im currently still in the Hospital. She stated “ oh your the one who called and was VERY RUDE AND NASTY” and she hung up the phone on me.. not nice service at all.

I first contacted Afia via her IG page, answered few questions about NIW then suggested a consultation call which I did. I booked a call and sent my CV, she said that my chances are strong and recommended going for NIW.
Now, it is worth noting that I consulted three lawyers before, all said they would not take my case since I do not have journal articles published. Regardless of that, I chose to take Afia's recommendation hire Yunus law. At the end of the day impression is perception and after the consultation call and watching her IG reels, the impression I had she is professional, knows what she does, and honest, so that is why I still took her recommendation although three others said no strong chances.
Afia and her team are committed, work professionally , and most importantly diligent in following up regarding the documents needed for the process. Also they generously premium processed my petition before my payment (I do not think that happens in other places :)
Finally I got my I-140 approved and I can't wait to apply for the green card.
I highly recommend working with Afia and her team, and if you are not sure, call them and prepare some good questions to help you make your final decision.

Michael Pfeifer was a great help to my family during a difficult time. Last year, my father fell and broke his hip. Mr. Pfeifer began working with us the day after the accident. My mother needed legal work done and my father's dementia created complications. After surgery, rehab, six weeks at home, and another month in the hospital, it was clear that my father needed institutional care. Frustrating Experience with Suris and Associates
I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience with Suris and Associates has prompted me to share my concerns so that others can make informed decisions. After over a year of what I thought would be diligent representation for my case, the firm informed me that they would not be pursuing further actions. Their reasoning? They were unable to contact the insurance company.
For a law firm, one would expect a proactive approach, especially in a legal matter that can significantly impact someone’s life. Instead, I felt like my case was put on the back burner as I experienced frustrating delays and a serious lack of communication. Despite my repeated inquiries, there was a notable absence of the effort needed to seek justice.
It’s disheartening to anticipate some support in a challenging time only to find yourself poised on the sidelines. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Suris and Associates based on my dismal experience. I hope others have a more positive encounter, but my advice is to keep your options open and consider firms that exhibit the commitment and tenacity every client deserves.

Frustrating Experience with Suris and Associates
I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience with Suris and Associates has prompted me to share my concerns so that others can make informed decisions. After over a year of what I thought would be diligent representation for my case, the firm informed me that they would not be pursuing further actions. Their reasoning? They were unable to contact the insurance company.
For a law firm, one would expect a proactive approach, especially in a legal matter that can significantly impact someone’s life. Instead, I felt like my case was put on the back burner as I experienced frustrating delays and a serious lack of communication. Despite my repeated inquiries, there was a notable absence of the effort needed to seek justice.
It’s disheartening to anticipate some support in a challenging time only to find yourself poised on the sidelines. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Suris and Associates based on my dismal experience. I hope others have a more positive encounter, but my advice is to keep your options open and consider firms that exhibit the commitment and tenacity every client deserves.

If I could give negative stars I would…after receiving their latest invoice I was shocked and disgusted because my case has been delayed in court and they probably made a mistake and billed me for their mistake. I heard nothing from them for months and when I inquired about my case status, I received a useless answer by another lawyer who charges $550 an hour. Her email response was not that long and they charged me half an hour for it. It was ridiculous! I plan to fire them and hire another lawyer…

Michael Pfeifer was a great help to my family during a difficult time. Last year, my father fell and broke his hip. Mr. Pfeifer began working with us the day after the accident. My mother needed legal work done and my father's dementia created complications. After surgery, rehab, six weeks at home, and another month in the hospital, it was clear that my father needed institutional care. Thanks to Mr. Pfeifer's efforts, my father's admission to the nursing home went smoothly. Later he qualified for Medicaid.
In February of this year, my mother suffered a small stroke. She came home after seven weeks in hospital and rehab. The rehab facility recommended 24-hour aide coverage, but we could only afford it for eight weeks. By successfully completing her Medicaid application, Mr. Pfeifer ensured my mother would have a full-time aide in her own home.
