From the moment I met TJ, I was confident justice would be served. He is calming, professional, confident and knowledgeable about OWI / BAC testing procedures and police conduct. There was sufficient evidence in my case that TJ was able to present a very easy to understand explanation of the facts to a jury of 6 in Waukesha that unanimously voted; not guilty of OWI/PAC and OWI. His courtroom demeanor, presentation of facts and overall case preparation / strategy is exceptional. I would highly recommend TJ. He is fair, honest and incredibly skilled.

I can't say enough good things about T.J. I consulted with many lawyers and once I talked to T.J. I knew he was the one. He was compassionate and was very prompt in getting back to me. He took my unfortunate DUI incident and helped keep me calm and informed of what was going on and what was going to happen. I had a ton of anxiety over the course of my case and T.J. was kind enough to be understanding of my situation and went above and beyond to help me. He was able to get a Judge transfer and I ended up with a very light sentence. He was able to file a Post-Judgement Motion to get me the Good Time Credit that was not granted at the time of the sentencing. I was able to shorten my already light sentence even more and was released 3 days earlier than I expected. I was extremely pleased with this Lawyer and absolutely 100% would recommend him to anyone. If you are unfortunate enough to experience an OWI, CALL T.J.! You will be amazed at his results! I will forever be grateful to T.J.... It was a pleasure to work with Attorney Robert Arthur. I needed an attorney to advise me for a local production company that did filming on my property without my knowledge or approval. Attorney Arthur was extremely knowledgeable, and made sure that I understood the “gray area” of the law. He listened very attentively, without interruption to make sure he had a thorough understanding of the issue at hand; and then reiterated what I was looking for.. He then explained in great detail what the law allows, and next steps. Attorney Arthur then sent out detailed correspondence to opposing counsel and myself, after every conversation we had. Attorney Arthur was always responsive to my phone calls, texts, and email.
I highly recommend working with Attorney Arthur. Some attorneys do not feel the need to communicate the law to their clients level of understanding. Some also fail to keep clients informed of their case details, step-by-step. This was not the case with Attorney Arthur, and he exceeded my expectations.

My husband and I hired Jonathan after having a dispute with a contractor. This was the first time either one of us had ever hired a lawyer. Jonathan was highly recommended by a colleague and we immediately understood why. I texted him requesting urgent help on a Thursday night as our issue was time sensitive. He responded that evening and by Friday morning, we had hired him. He was able to efficiently gather enough information to start addressing our urgent concern that Friday afternoon. Within the week, our situation was resolved to our satisfaction. His responsiveness and professionalism was outstanding. He helped set expectations and educate us. He was upfront about expected costs for our case and when we ended up exceeding that, he honored his initial quote. We are in the middle of an adoption and he told us to take the difference of the quote and actual cost of his services and apply it towards the adoption. It was not expected and he certainly was not obligated to do this but was greatly appreciated. If we ever need a lawyer again, we will not hesitate to reach out. My job was eliminated after 18 yrs. I was 1 of 3 over age 60 eliminated. Since there were new employees and less seniority employees , i felt i was let go unfairly with age discrimination. Jonathan fought for a new severance contract against the medical corporation and won. He achieved double the severance i was offered per "their protocol" that was unfair. Jonathan was kind, calm, explained what i didnt understand ( which was most legal terminology!) And worked with me as my own advocate. Advising and suggesting. Sean is smart, professional, methodical and tenacious, which is precisely what I need given the complexities of the case and who opposing counsel is. Additionally, unlike many litigators who come off as being aggressive and combative, Sean is soft spoken, reasonable and tempered. Recently hired Sean to review a business contract. We were so impressed with how thorough Sean was. When he met with us to go over the contract, it was obvious he has some mad skills. A competent, confident and compassionate, yet no-nonsence practitioner is what I see in Atty Carter. He listened, questioned, and suggested a course of action to collect funds from a real estate seller that failed to disclose a problem that led to a significant expense for the buyer. I think Lynn Laufenberg and his staff are amazing. In addition Lynn mentors younger attorneys and there is an amazing paralegal named Jennifer L. who is knowledgeable and really cares about the firm and her clients. Lynn even gave examples of statues to me when we first met. I was involved in a multi-crash situation with personal injuries involved. One of the biggest challenges was medical bills so far and Lynn and his team have been very responsive and helpful so that we don't go to collections for bills we didn't cause. I would recommend this lawyer and believe he is a valuable asset to not only his firm but the greater community. There is also a lawyer that is being mentored who is doing an amazing job with civil rights, too. Overall, just a great firm - I am hopeful that justice will be served for my injuries.
