I needed someone fluent both in Spanish and English. Someone recommended Emilia, she is not just bilingual but she has cross-cultural competence. Attorney Wade is a good lawyer. I have used him quite often through the years. About 20 years ago, I was in a bad car accident. Someone referred him to me, because I knew the issue was bigger than I was. He came to where I was at the time, talked to me patiently, and answered all my questions and concerns. He reassured me that everything was going to be alright. It was just that, I didn’t have to worry about a thing. He kept me informed every step of the way. Since then I have used him for bankruptcy, again Attorney Wade came through. I went through a divorce and child support was needed, I called him, he referred me to someone close and faithful as himself. My husband and I visited Ms. Bumgardner's office to inquire about a very complicated and messy case. We had a previous horrible experience with another lawyer who grossly mishandled our case and left us with a $16,000 debt! So our visit with Ms. Bumgardner was a refreshing alleviation to our messy problem. She is undoubtedly law-savvy and very experienced. I went through a terrible contested custody trial during my divorce. The original lower court ruling left me financially ruined and stripped me to limited visitation of my two minor children and no custody. I hired Wes to represent me in appellate court to challenge the original ruling. Wes handled my appeal at the State Court of Appeals, provided oral argument in front of a panel of Justices, prepared briefs on my behalf all the way to the State Supreme Court. At both the Court of Appeals and State Supreme Court, Wes helped me with Reverse Render, Reverse and Remand of the original ruling. In the end, after 4 years of appellate court appearances, oral arguments, and briefs, Wes was able to help me return to financial solvency, and most importantly was able to gain JOINT legal and physical custody of my minor children, with a visitation schedule that provides me with approximately 50/50 physical custody/visitation. I am a licensed CPA, and Wes was able to help me with reversal of the original financial obligations, and provide tax assistance in the final disposition of my custody case. Wes is professional, extremely knowledgeable about case law, taxes, finances and due process. My only regret is not hiring Wes for my original trial. Since my divorce, I have found an attorney that is ethical, intelligent, trustworthy, and compassionate beyond just representing a client in chancery court, but truly understands a parent's desire to be with their children. Wes is a rare find, and I will use him for all future legal matters.

A strong family man, attorney and judge, he sits in a position of power in humility, holding high principles in, both, upholding the law and our court's value system; yet, in doing so, while, simultaneously, offering the upmost mercy and grace for humanity. While not having had Judge Amos ' personal representation as a lawyer either, I would venture to say, having witnessed his efforts and character in Court Session to uphold, both, law and grace, he would be the same as a lawyer as he is a judge and person, one to treat you as he would want to be treated, justly, with honor.
