After making several calls and reaching out to several high profiled Law firms and attorney's to take upon my case, I received negative feedback that they would be unable to take my case because there not enough evidence. One law firm took my case, but wasted months only to tell me that she did not have the time to help me, but by faith, I reached out to an attorney who was a God send. She listened and immediately told me she would take my case. She made me feel confident as I heard the confidence in her and this is the position she held throughout the case.
I would highly recommend retaining Yvonne Everett as your attorney. She is the best attorney I have ever worked with. I came to meet with Yvonne Everett over a sexual harassment case and even when some things felt a little uncomfortable to talk about she was understanding and made me feel very comfortable communicating with her. Even though she had other clients I was never neglected and always felt like I was a priority. She always kept me in the loop with everything that was going on. Anytime I had a question she was more then happy to answer it and always returned my phone calls in a timely matter. If you're looking for the best attorney look no further.

I recently had the pleasure (and privilege) of working with Ms. Everett in preparing an age discrimination suit in which I was the victim. Over the years I have had the pleasure of working with several superb attorneys, and Yifan Everett, despite being relatively new to this particular practice area, was everything I could have hoped for: extremely knowledgeable, quick, sensitive, ethical and on my side. She has a great sense of humor.
She would be my first choice should I ever be forced into such a position again. By the way, we settled my case against a large university through non-binding mediation very fairly without actually having to file suit. This was accomplished through her outstanding preparation of my case. My highest recommendation.

My name is Jacques Delacroix. I am a retired professor of Management. I live in Santa Cruz, California with my wife, Krishna Delacroix who is an artist. Recently, we went to John D. Laughton, A Professional Law Corporation in Monterey, California for help to deal with the complex and forbidding business of making end-of-life legal preparations. We dealt entirely with Brandie Luis Esq. ,and with the pleasant office staff person (whose name escapes me right now because, well, I am writing a will am I not?)
Ms. Luis deployed incomparable patience and perseverance in dealing with our passivity (and perhaps, with our unconscious resistance). She guided us skillfully through the meanders of legal dispositions we did not even suspected to exist. As a result of her quiet efforts, my wife and I now think that we have done all the right things with respect to our offspring and with respect to the world at large. We believe that thanks to Ms Luis, our passing will not trouble much the peace of those we leave behind. We even think we will leave behind us a slight wake of benevolence. Those are satisfying and probably rare feelings.
Ms Luis ' disposition is so conscientious and so kind that once, she ever made a house call to us! (I hasten to add that this may not be a service the firm offer routinely and to all is customers. We may well have received favored treatment, on his occasion though I am sure we did nothing to deserve it.)
Obviously neither I nor my wife have any previous experience with this kind of endeavor. However, we suspect we stand more on the side of clients from Hell than on the side of angelic clients. Ms. Luis never lost her cool with us and she continued to direct us with a firm but friendly hand until the task was completed. If loving lawyers were not a human impossibility, we would say we have come to love Ms Luis!We could not recommend her personally and the John D. Laughton firm more highly.

Brandie Luis, was able to help our family through some difficult legal challenges we had recovering funds that other firms had told us couldn't be done without going through a long and expensive legal process.
She was able to assess the situation quickly and worked with the State and the banking institutions on our behalf to resolve the issues we encountered all to a successful outcome.

Brandie both informed us on our options and helped educate us on what the different choices would mean for the estate. She was very knowledgeable, had clear explanations, and was responsive in her replies when we had further questions. She was very thorough in ensuring all our assets made it in to the trust which was very reassuring as I have heard other peoples horror stories when they found out too late their assets weren't actually in the trust. Mitesh was great at explaining the entire process for a business dispute that I had with an ex-partner. He was able to handle the matter proficiently and kept me updated throughout every step in the process, very knowledgeable and helpful, all while keeping costs within a budget we had set prior to starting. I originally found attorney Mitesh Patel through legalforce, a trademark and patent filing service. At the time I needed to file for a trademark but I was not familiar with the process and I had no idea how to get started. He contacted me after I filed out my application and alerted me to some errors I made when filling out the document. After correcting these issues he stayed in contact with me throughout the process and was very patient when answering all of my questions. Now I currently have a registered trademark and I have him assist me for all of my legal business needs (i.e. contracts, incorporation and recently, licensing out my franchise. I went to Carver to help me file a mechanic’s lien against a client that didn’t pay me $75,000. He gave me completely incorrect legal advice, and it led to me no longer having the opportunity to file the lien correctly (because the 90 day period lapsed). He spelled the name of my company on the lien incorrectly, so I had to go back to the clerk recorders office during my work hours, and pay an additional $92 to have them write the correct business name.
Do not waste your time or your money. This attorney has no idea what he’s doing and is incredibly unprofessional.
