Lauren and the whole team at Waypoint were extremely patient and knowledgeable during the process of applying for and getting approval for Medicaid for my ill mother. Mr. Rubenstein wouldn't let the insurance company bully us nor him. He fought for what was just. The insurance company was ordered to pay us workman's compensation plus a portion of our fee because Mr. Rubenstein made sure they were reprimanded for their unscrupulous tactics. Even after the trial he offered help to seek out college scholarships for my children. He is kind to his clients, tough on his opponents and a man of morals.

I hardly know where to begin to express my immense gratitude for everyone at the offices of Tomasella and Vacca. Im not sure how to adequately convey my appreciation for this team. This firm genuinely cares about me and my three children.

Please be careful with this firm... I don't know what they actually done.. I sent them info on my case.. and Rich was unprepared for court conference.. the judge was obsenely pissed off. Then I got bills for emails that I don't even know if he made because I received no copies of. My matter closed.. and in one of the bills they charged for review of documentation that was allegedly done after matter already closed in court. Secondly, he agreed to payments.. but drafted my bank account $2060 without my authorization.
I just got an email from them that they made a draft.. I reached out to the billing department not allowing them to do that.. but they did it anyways.
Every attorney has a client portal that they upload any emails, letters etc.. but this firm doesn't... so they just bill client for what could be bogus work that they allegedly done...but client has no proof that they did it..
Also, I had to send repeated emails about a certain thing on my case.. which they wouldn't reply.. sent another email about same thing.. and then finally within a week I would get a response.. so yeah I also got charged for those emails.
Bunch of shady crooks.. we'll see if they send me back the check that I sent them prior to the draft..

James was my brother's lawyer and created his will and Trust. He was the lawyer/executor, I was the Trustee. When my brother died we worked together to fulfill the will and Trust directions. One account did not make it into the Trust and so we had to go to probate court for that. This was mostly during Covid so court dates, appointments, etc., proved challenging. Throughout the entire process James was throrough, highly communicative, proactive and responsive. He was also compasssionate and "human". Overpromised and underdelivered.
1. I had her on retainer but was mistakenly charged $450 twice in one month.
2. I was promised two employment contracts before the end of June, but did not receive them due to her personal reasons. I was then promised an additional two weeks of grace charge during which I was still charged.
3. She did not respond to retainer texts and email messages for updates until I reached out to her office.
4. I was again promised yesterday that I would receive my deliverables by the end of the day. I emailed and texted her at 11pm and 2 AM waiting for them, but I still have no paperwork indicating any work was done for my company.
5. She continued to argue that there was a bulk of deliverables coming my way and that her two calls (one being a free initial consultation and the other an update of the progress which I did not see or receive anything) constituted sufficient legal advice. She did not offer any refund until I asked, nor did she send me what was completed. She argued that her deliverables exceeded the $900 value, but I still question whether any work was actually done, as I have not seen anything tangible, just a lot of talk.
Please do reply back to this post since I don’t hear much anyways.
Update: I texted at 2am bc I was promised to have deliverables by later the night, Duh! 🙄 glad that I paid the lowest monthly retainer because I still won’t get them with a higher fee especially your over promise again. anyways…no worries! The way you responded back, hopefully helped others make a better impression of you too.
