Middle of a tax audit and I was so over my head. The auditor was pretty mean and kept getting more and more aggressive and I was getting super scared of jail or tons of taxes I would never be able to pay back. I called Delia Law the next day and hired them on the spot. Ms. Delia contacted my auditor that day and provided an immediate status to me. She had it under control quickly. Sean O Hara has no business in law, came off nice, seemingly, except he contradicted himself several times. Claiming he never heard from the company, but knew where they sent my w-2…Did nothing for nine months and when I gave him crucial information he tried to get money, completely unaware that I had another attorney related to this case. His terrible work caused me to go through their employees and that’s a no for me dog, all white men. Fired and replaced. Don’t waste your time, not my first rodeo, but apparently his. Mind you the case was easy, pictures, text messages and he blew it, lazy, lazy, lazy. Easily the most important client you’ll ever have too.

I used this law firm to represent me in purchasing my home The lawyer came to my home and explained the entire procedure to me step by step which proved to be very fruitful. All my questions were answered, questions I did not know I had to ask were brought up. Everything was done in a timely and organized manner. There was none of the usual hiccups that you would have because things were being done in a timely manner and I was being kept in the loop. Whenever I had a question I was able to call and speak with someone.

It isn’t my intention to make my review this long, but it’s the only way to truly share my experience. I’ll pay it forward. After months of contemplating, researching the subject and reaching the conclusion I’m truly in the worst of financial troubles, I still wasn’t 100% sure if I could or should go through with bankruptcy. I wasn’t there yet. I was terrified at the thought. Enter Mr. Singer. The first thing was the website. It was very different than most. It’s put together right. It’s not intimidating. So I called the number. To my surprise Mr. Singer picks up the phone. Not an answering machine or secretary or anything. He doesn’t know me and is talking to me like I’m a family member. Like his grandson or son. He spoke to me about ME. With dignity and respect. Not about money or what I did wrong. Not about My mistakes. But is this action now apart of my life’s journey? My experience with Zackary Meyer was incredible. He made me feel comfortable in explaining my litigation matter that had been going on for over 5 years. Professional, Ethical, Hard-working, mentoring = those are the 4 words I can use to characterize this law practice.
I started working with Mary a few years ago when I needed her to review a contract for me which was being breached. Not only did Mary get me out of the contract, but we received damages I never would have thought possible. She worked extremely hard and professionally with the other party, and was very efficient with our time and her hours.
Because of my extremely good experience with Mary, I hired her again for multiple matters, most extensively in employment law and contract law. Mary's work is bullet proof. It is so impeccable that when I hand it over to the other party, their lawyers have nothing further they could add or delete since it is done to such level of perfection.
With Mary, no question is "dumb", no concern is "annoying". I've worked with lawyers who are charging close to $1000 an hour and act annoyed when you ask them a small follow-up question. And at the end, both Mary and those "fancy" lawyers all reached the same conclusions for me. So it's simple math, 1+1=2. When something is cheaper, with the same results, why would you bother with the more expensive lawyers when you can get someone who is almost like an angel to you while being a winning lawyer?

I was fortunate to have found Paul! I tasked him with writing my prenup, and he was attentive and helpful throughout the entire process. I had zero prior experience with marital law, and I came to him with a ton of loose ideas for what my partner and I were looking for in the document. I knew it would be a difficult task to come to an agreement between all parties, and draft a legal document that satisfied everyone’s interests, but Paul came through. We worked together, and I found him very personable and easy to work with. He was able to break-down complex topics easily for me to understand and was extremely meticulous. Prenups can be a difficult endeavor for the parties involved, but Paul made the process extremely doable. We ultimately achieved the perfect document for our needs, which I am very grateful for. I had a harrowing divorce battle and am fortunate to have had Amanda Shaffer as my attorney. I was served with a surprise hearing in Integrated Domestic Violence Court (IDVF) - with not even a hearing date - and I scrambled to find counsel. After a frantic search and a dozen interviews with different attorneys, I chose Amanda because of her understanding of the situation and high conflict personalities.
Amanda’s approach is like a fox. She is methodical, knowing when to stay quiet - and when to strike. (For me, staying quiet was one of the hardest things because I wanted to immediately prove my innocence and refute every false allegation against me. She told me this would take time, which it did.)
