My spouse and attorney was doing everything possible to delay and obstruct the divorce process.
After 3 years and trying couple attorneys, I found Mr Sullivan. He was the only one who got my case moving forward and to the end
I noticed that some attorneys are just pushing papers, which is great for an easy-going divorce. However, reaching a settlement it’s always within your control. And I play that no one has to go through what I have.
But if you have, or just want to avoid it, give Sullivan Law and associates a call. They continued to negotiate up to the last day, to avoid a trial and settle out of court. But Richard Sullivan is a trial attorney and sometimes you need a trial attorney to avoid a trial.

I was searching for a licensed defense attorney in California that specialized specifically in defending nurses against accusations from BVNPT/BRN and came across Ray & Bishop, PLC through a google search. I read reviews that former clients have posted about their representation and also looked up their webpage online. I decided to take a leap of faith after reviewing their reviews, website, and blog and seeing the successful comments and how satisfied clients who were represented by Ray & Bishop, PLC. were. I was dealing with a criminal matter that was dismissed but later was picked up by BVNPT and was sent an accusation that my license was being investigated and that they wanted to discipline me based on these allegations. The process from when the incident occurred to posting an accusation was approximately 5 years. Long story short, I was assigned to Mr. John Bishop regarding my matter with the boards and he was attentive, knowledgeable, matter of fact, understanding, straight forward, and responsive in answering my never ending questions and concerns. He was genuinely concerned and was available via email and by phone. Even though he was busy he would return my emails/calls promptly. Luckily, my case did not have to go through an administrative hearing and after 5 months I received the most wonderful news I could have ever asked for “accusation withdrawn”
Words can’t express how grateful and relieved I am that this nightmare was finally resolved and I can finally move on. I can’t thank Mr. Bishop enough for his representation and how successful he was with his communication with BVNPT and ultimately avoiding any discipline against my license and not having to attend a hearing.

I received a discipline in another state and California immediately followed suit. During trial, I did my best in answering the prosecutor’s questions. John would then ask me questions that further clarified my answers so that my answers could not be misinterpreted. I truly appreciate John. Dimitri Gross came highly recommended and it was clear to me why, after I had the pleasure to work with him on what I consider a difficult case. A long-time customer of mine had become extremely delinquent and was refusing to bring their account to balance. After experiencing several months of futility, with a balance owing in the high six figures, I sought Dimitri’s help. Dimitri explained in plain English the options I had and how a lawsuit would proceed. He was very fair and reasonable with his costs and retainer arrangement. He was transparent in his communications with the opposing side and I felt like I was an integral part of the process from beginning to end. It was obvious to me that Dimitri makes it a practice to put himself in his client’s shoes and that he truly cares about those with whom he works. I also very much appreciated Dimitri’s prompt responses and updates throughout the entire process.
With his outstanding efforts over a five-month period, Dimitri was able to recover 100% of the sizeable dollar amount owed to me by my customer, plus interest and all attorney fees. I could not have wished for a better outcome. Recovering these funds was certainly a goal, but with the questionable behavior of the customer over many months, there was never a guarantee that I would be able to recover the entire amount. So, needless to say, I was thrilled with the outcome.

Reuben is extremely brilliant attorney. He won dozens of class action cases for unpaid OT, commission, and illegal employment contacts. He is very knowledgeable, so he can tell you rather or not there is a case within five miniutes. He also didn’t need to charge a retainer fee because he is confident in winning the case for his clients. Unlike other attorneys, he takes time and explains to you as why there is a case. He was referred to me by several of my friends and ex-colleagues. I am extremely happy with the outcome of the case. Thus, I am willing to work with him again for “another” case. If I knew Reuben back in 2014, I would have asked him to represent me against one of the largest multi billion dollar mortgage company and also the publically traded company under NASDAQ I used to work for many years. Yes, I can be a bit dramatic, but let me say it again, WoW! I liked his picture and "ready for a courtroom showdown" so gave him a cold call. He was the most gracious, well mannered attorney I've spoken to. I'm a Paralegal and have a pending probate case so that says a lot! Aside from his excellent manner and professionalism, the guy knows his stuff. I recently posted a review of this attorney but my review may have been premature, as we were not yet finished completing our exchanges. Since my earlier review Mr. Hankin wrote to me again. He shed tremendous light on the one pressing question that baffled me, and he did so in a professional manner.
My initial aim was to utilize his services in the Appellate Courts, but it appears my case lacks the "teeth" for a successful appeal. If that were not my unfortunate predicament I'd most assuredly hire Mr. Hankin. Sometimes the devil is in the details. He's a details oriented attorney who takes the time to explain matters to his clients and prospective clients.
I can't speak to other areas of his law practice, but for anything pertaining to California Trusts or Probate matters he's the "go-to" attorney!
