Jonathan Corey was a great divorce lawyer to have on my side. I went through a tough divorce, was dealing with a large marital estate and a long term marriage. I had a disappointing and expensive experience with Mr. Sollars. He frequently ignored my communications yet charged me for emails and calls that reminded him of tasks that weren't addressed or completed for extended periods of time. He often appeared stretched too thin and indecisive. Despite the ongoing reminders, there were long periods where no action was taken, yet he continued to bill. Overall, very little was accomplished, and I ended up with significant legal fees without the results I expected. He also advised some things that harmed my case. I would recommend looking elsewhere for legal representation. Now that my case is over, I’ll move on, but will be paying the financial and real life costs for a long time.

Yadira Ramirez is an excellent attorney. I was blindsided by false sexual assault allegations. Yadira was always calm, cool and collected. I felt she had my best intentions. She had a lot of patience when I got angry or upset because I didn't understand how the courts work, or how lawyers communicate with the courts, and also the laws. I felt more at ease once when she thoroughly explained how court proceedings take place. Although, I could not ever be fully at ease because of the implications in my case. We had evidence that showed my innocence. But even with that, I still felt anxiety because of how inconsistent the courts in America are. Yadira could have told me that I had a airtight case and that we were going to win in court. But she was honest and said that courts are unpredictable and that she can't guarantee a victory. Which I understand. But she also said that we do have good evidence and that would show favorably for me in court.
Court was set for a Friday, and on Monday my accuser decided she wanted a consent agreement. I did not know what that was, and Yadira thoroughly explained what it was.
The first draft of the consent agreement their attorney sent Yadira was bogus and unfair. Yadira told me to stand firm and not accept the terms. Yadira redlined the document an added language in my favor. Their side sent back another agreement, and Yadira once again said to stand my ground and not accept it...
So finally 2 days before we're supposed to go to court. My accuser and her attorney caved and gave in to our terms and a much more favorable consent agreement, which ended up in a dismissal of my accuser's restraining order against me...
I was extremely anxious and nervous the entire time, 3 months of absolute hell. Yadira gave me my life back and restored a little faith in the legal system. There are lawyers out there that 100% care about their clients and Yadira is absolutely one that cares.
I recommend Yadira for any legal matters regarding restraining orders.

Thomas Ybarra is a highly organized and knowledgeable attorney and I'm so grateful for his attention to detail when it came to my divorce proceedings. He was always honest with me about what to expect and also heard me when I told him what I wanted/needed. He was able to successfully argue my position for sole custody of my two children, secure me spousal support and child support, and negotiate an agreement that allowed me to keep my house. His attention to my case was constant and I could always get ahold of him when I needed advice. Would not recommend. Lived in area over 20 years, recently moved my mother into my home. After 20 years of being harassed by my neighbor (my neighbor also harassed multiple other people in the area), my neighbors hired this group to send threatening letters to my elderly and disabled veteran mother in order to I kid you not *back their boat up onto my property,* something *they are able to do with the easement they've been provided.* At a point where I'm considering legal action myself, although the judge already sent a warning letter to suggest they stop harassing my mother.
Would not recommend, they are not following the law. The property boundaries have been marked and recorded many times and are on file at the county surveyors office.

I tried to talk to Nik a few times about a legal issue I've been going through with my employer. On top of this, I was wanting to discuss just my rights in general as an employee and other things. I had emailed Nik a couple times and he didn't respond but I was determined to have ONE lawyer in Portland talk to me as a trans person. I paid Nik $100 ahead of time and wrote up the intake form with info all about what I was dealing with and other issues I was seeing in the trans community. I wanted help and to get what info I could out of a one hour session to help as many people as I could. Nik refused to help because I hadn't met a criteria but he also didn't read or acknowledge any of the details or questions I added to the intake form. He just offered to refund me and did.
I just wanted help. I dont want to grieve more friends because of shitty employers. I did get fired while on leave. I also got threatened with a 10 page psychotic letter calling me uncivil. This work ordeal put me into an IOP due to a suicidal ideation in June and I can't get anyone but my spouse to care. That's why the suicide rate is 41% for trans people. I don't wanna add to that but when it feels like you have people who specifically represent LGBT clients they'd show some empathy for them. Idk. It doesn't matter. I don't recommend Nik.

June 2023 my long pending case for 6 years was denied by immigration and I was very devastated because the initial lawyer I engaged could not help. The details of navigating a probate case were fully explained from the beginning to the end of the case and Wendell was always supportive and immediately responsive to my questions. Mr. Wendell Belknap has been handling legal documents such as Last Will and Testament for my wife and me for many years. When my wife passed away last year, I asked Wendell for help with settling an IRA account that my wife had forgotten to link to a beneficiary. He was immediately helpful, explaining the various options available. After we selected probate as most appropriate, he carefully explained all aspects of the process, guiding me through how to get the personal representative class, summarizing assets, and formal notification (listing in local papers) for creditors, which he took care of. He referred me to another attorney who specialized in estates to help with determining the value of the estate. Additionally, Wendell personally handled communications with the IRA administrators regarding the probated estate so that appropriate paperwork would be completed.
Wendell was always available for my questions and was clearly concerned that the process should be as easy and painless as possible. While probate can take a long time, and this one did, I was never concerned with the process knowing that Wendell was watching it every step of the way. I would highly recommend Wendell as your first contact lawyer.

My husband and I hired Jason after my husband was in a bad car accident. Jason was fantastic through the long process of getting my husband the proper compensation for his current and future losses, he was educated and seemed to genuinely have my husbands and my best interest at heart. Before we met Richard, we had nothing in order -- a very very outdated will (somewhere) that didn't reflect a single aspect of our current life, kids, home, investment property, business etc. After meeting Richard, we have peace of mind! We have a living trust, will, designated guardian for our daughter, person to make medical decisions if we can't, signed docs giving us power to make medical decisions for each other, on and on. We have an enormous binder with all these documents including extremely detailed and helpful information for our next of kin and executor, should something happen to us. I had an issue with my landlord regarding the term of my lease- landlord insisted it was for 1 year fixed term, I thought I had signed a month to month agreement. They said I would be responsible for the remaining rent of the lease, over $5k. After reading some great reviews about Dan, I reached out and he responded within an hour. He got me in for a consultation the next day where he looked over my contact and let me know I had a great chance of getting out of the lease without having to pay any penalty. He suggested that a letter to the landlord detailing why I am not responsible for the confusion or the remaining rent payments would be the best course of action. Through further research, he was also able to determine some particular factors in my situation that have me leverage and alluded to those in the letter. He even put in a demand for reimbursement of my legal fees! The landlord called me back the next day and apologized saying that they would sign the mutual release he drafted and the matter was finished within just a few days! Start to finish, Dan was extremely professional. He followed up promptly, laid out his fees clearly, and even credited the consultation cost toward that of writing the letter. His pricing was extremely reasonable, but I won't end up paying for it because Dan had the savvy to pass it off to my landlord! I cannot recommend Dan highly enough if you are in a tough legal situation- especially in a tenant/landlord disagreement.
