Angela took such good care of us. She worked with my wife and me through the adoption of our second child. Working with this lawyer was a refreshing experience. I recently found out that years ago I had been frivolously sued in small claims court by someone who made a meritless claim. This person used it to try to enter a civil judgment against me. Frankly I had no idea how to handle the situation. I was scared and confused. I called a bunch of law firms trying to figure out what I needed to do, and most of them just left me feeling even more scared and more confused. Then I called the law offices of Thomas D. Kenny, and I had the complete opposite experience. Every single person I spoke to treated me with kindness and respect. Mr. Kenny was nothing short of AMAZING! I was worried I would do jailtime because the victim had strong evidence against me but he ensured me that I'd be ok. He's truly a magician and great at what he do and he don't cost an arm and a leg!!! I would recommend him to anyone faced with serious charges and want to maintain their freedom or at the very least shorten their sentence. I had an issue with my past employer at the time. As the issue was clear cut on the surface, the details were complicated, and I didn't know how to go about it and even if I should talk to an attorney. But when I finally decided to contact one, I managed to find Mike, who was nothing short of being helpful and understanding. Dealing with the tech industry can be pretty complicated but Mike was not only able to provide competent legal advice with a greatest candor, but also got the details of my work, and understood it to the extent that litigation went very smooth (and this is a great achievement on its own given how stressful legalities can be to a non-lawyer). I always felt comfortable and never felt overlooked by either Mike or his team at any time. Moreover, they were very supportive and flexible with a payment plan, offering a superb service all-around. After litigation, Mike was even empathetic towards my situation; he's not only a legal genius (you can tell when you talk to him), but also a good guy. We prevailed in court and I am as happy as one can be to leave all my troubles behind me. I highly respect Mike and if ever I have legal trouble in the future, he is on my list of people to reach out to if I ever need (for whatever reason that may arise).

I needed someone that had expertise with ERISA law and consulted with multiple attorneys before finding my way to Mike. I was dealing with a life insurance claim after losing my spouse. Needless to say this was a very difficult and scary time for me. Mike put me at ease from the moment I met him. He absolutely knows this area of the law extremely well and knew the proper way to handle this issue. I found him to be very fair and reasonable with the fee agreement. While it took a long time to resolve, as legal matters often do, Mike never gave up. The up front retainer was a little high although we were able to renegotiate that it was refundable and Stephen refunded the remaining funds once the case was over. Stephen was exactly the lawyer I needed when we reached out to him following my incident. He was very good at explaining the different options we had for contesting the case and also the likelihood of success and time lines. He's extremely personable and did well with the negotiations that were required.
I was charged with 6 offenses and was able to walk out of the courtroom with 2 offenses on my record and the main one reduced in severity. A very good result.
Stephen was very professional in all respects but particularly in the courtroom where it was obvious he was in his comfort zone. There were a few requests we had of the judge which were a little bit outside of the norm and Stephen handled them very well. We were able to get conditions added to the court documents making the probation part of my sentence much easier to handle.

We hired Mr. Cook for what we thought would be a small case. Unfortunately it did not turn out that way. The case involved an educational institution and we are thankful for Mr. Cook’s knowledge, assertiveness when necessary, and calm demeanor when necessary. He was also very kind and thoughtful to our family during this extremely stressful process. I don’t know what we would have done with out his level of expertise in the area of IEP‘s and making the educational institution accountable for their actions. Laura Mattiacci, Console Mattiacci Law, participated in my in my lawsuit during the trial preparation phase of my case in age discrimination and retaliation case against my former employer. We contacted a well known pool company to do a full renovation. It turned into a nightmare. Thousands of dollars for work so badly done a second renovation along with replacement of fixtures the company’s workers broke were needed after it was “finished “. two years ago I was involved in an accident where i slipped on ice in a super market parking lot. I went to several lawyers before choosing Mr. Cooper.
