If you are considering hiring Travis Mayor to represent you, do NOT hesitate! There is no way to adequately describe the help that Rick Okamura has been to me over the past two to three years. I brought to him a mess of an estate after leaving another attorney who had botched drawing up the will for an estate and trust that I was the personal representative and trustee for. There were many problems that came up during the handling of this estate. RIck Okamura was instrumental in walking me through them. He is a highly ethical, professional, and thorough. I can't imagine going through the incredibly difficult and stressful process of my unlawful employment practice case with a former employer without her guidance. She was patient yet firm, and never took advantage of hourly fees, workload, or response time. Although the damage which leads to needing representation and council in any capacity can never be undone, having someone interpret the law on your behalf, and exceeding your expectations in the end result, allows for a sense of closure I wasn't sure I would get. I highly recommend her.

I worked with Sonia to resolve an unfortunate situation that emerged with the owner of a company I was working for. She was so professional and knowledgeable and advised on various options and directions that we could take. I've worked with Shawa Mu for 20 years and in that time I can clearly say that she is efficient, professional, very knowledgable and experienced. The last point is extremely valuable to me as she has provided guidance and knowledge when no other lawyers/consultants have.
For example, we had a case regarding a H1B visa and she knew every single detail to know about H1B visas. She told us what to do, what to expect, and everything worked out exactly as she said it would. During the process I also talked to many other lawyers and consultants and the difference in knowledge was night and day.

An official endorsement and my experience with Mr. Meehan, an AAL. His qualities include punctuality, professionalism and thoroughness. His punctuality included responding in less than 8 hours of contact, on a weekend. His "attention to detail" was both relevant & recent. My wife and I launched a new vegan food business in May of 2018. Our first product went on the shelves and sold out quickly. We had waited for our first reorder before shelling out the money from our shoestring budget to register our Trademark at the USPTO. Huge mistake!
Some person applied at the USPTO for our Trademark just after our product went on the shelves, and two days before we attempted to apply. We learned a bit later, after some investigation, that they had no products, nor any legitimate proof that they actually intended to use the Trademark.
We quickly hired Jackson and he wrote them a cease and desist letter. Their attorney notified us if we paid them $15,000, they would be happy to withdrawal their application and go away. Your classic shakedown.
Jackson laid out all the evidence, making a strong case for our rights to and implied ownership of the Trademark. He is a true expert in Trademark law, using previous case law rulings that led their attorney, who seemed to possess little knowledge in this field, to quickly and dramatically lower their offer.
The USPTO is a system of nightmarish bureaucracy that allows even clear-cut extortion schemes like the one we experienced to thrive. Having a Trademark Attorney as experienced and knowledgeable as Jackson can help you to avoid these kinds of problems. We will definitely use him again. Thank you Jackson!

Before I met Matthew Holland, I probably had one of the most confusing and sloppy divorce cases due to a crazy ex-wife that wanted money, to see me suffer, and take away my son. Matthew was my 4th and final lawyer on this extremely difficult case. I have learned, when one is in a litigation battle, it is necessary that you have all facets in a lawyer and law office. It is extremely difficult to find an attorney that knows the law in and out. Mr. Holland is accurate, thorough, fast at filing paperwork, and can dominate in the courtroom if the case is forced to trial. This guy did it all. Matt won an extremely difficult case and dug me out of a MASSIVE hole when I met him. He gave me my son back and my life. In addition to gaining my time with my son, Matt saved me from what could have been a substantial debt. It was super impressive to watch him work at his craft. I feel very fortunate to have come upon Matt Holland. I presented him with a complex employment contract with a medical group and hospital (25 pages worth of legalese), and he went through them point-by-point with me the very next day. He explained everything clearly, pointed out the 'draconian' parts, and reassured me that as a whole it was a fair contract. He charged less than average and yet I am sure my contract was reviewed with more care and close attention than it would have been at some big law place. Plus Matt was flexible about timing, and was willing to review the contract with me partly over the phone and partly at his office, even though it was late in the day. I looked him up on Yelp, and read his philosophy about law, and I must say, I am impressed by his professionalism and purpose. It's not every day you meet a lawyer who genuinely believes in the law and uses his training for good. This is not your stereotypical greedy or smarmy lawyer; this is a good guy. I hope I don't need an attorney in future, but if I do, I most certainly will return to Holland Law.
