I had hired another lawyer, but replaced him as soon as I spoke with Mr. Little. James didn’t over promise, but gave me confidence he knew the anxiety this matter was causing, and the hope that he would have it dismissed entirely. He talked to me like a person, not a case file. I don't even know where to begin. I was injured 33000+ ft in the air during a flight. I did not know what to do first after dealing with doctors, surgeons, and nurses while trying to heal. I called a large legal firm that advertises in North Carolina to see if they could help me. After being grilled like I was the problem, my sister-in-law who lives in Memphis, researched attorneys in my area and gave me a choice of 2. Well I called James Crouse and the first thing he told me was that he would help me put a letter together for the airline and he would do it for free. Then he said "you don't have to go with me as your lawyer, but you will need a good lawyer in order to handle the big airline." I felt so taken care of and he was very honest about everything from the start. He worked on my case for over 4 years. He prepared my husband and I for everything that could happen.
Jim came to our house when I could not walk and he continued to come to the house when I was healing. I could ask him any question and get an answer even if it was one that was not in my favor. I never want to have to go through something like this again, but if I have to, I will call Jim as soon as possible. Even opposing counsel liked him and that makes a huge difference in the outcome of a case.
Just FYI...... he has entertaining stories about his life that go on for days! He kept me on my toes. Thank you Attorney Crouse!

I contacted Jim Crouse after my husband was killed in a small plane crash while learning to fly. If tthe accident were due to equipment malfunction, I wanted to keep it from happening again. Jim relentlessly investigated all angles and exhausted all resources while remaining kind and sensitive to my concerns and desires. While we weren't able to determine a cause, Jim obtained a satisfactory settlement with one of the flight instructor's insurers and I am confident our best effort was made. I had the opportunity of working with Mr. Crause regarding a FAA infraction. The case was complex and required many hours of research and fact finding. Many times I had thought that we had came to a dead end road. These roadblocks had given me the feeling of wanting to give up. Somehow, Mr Crause was able to put it in four wheel drive and go through these road blocks. His knowledge and ability to keep me focused was something I never expected out of a lawyer. He was also able to relay a peace of mind in an otherwise troubling situation for me.
Being such a complex case, I was worried about the ability to pay for the services. Mr. Crause was able to consolidate and multi task using every available minute in each hour. These tactics reduced the bill beyond my expectations.
We have finished work on my case but still stay in touch over the months. This is just another reason why I am writing this review and recommend him to everyone I talk to in the aviation community.

Ms. Brumback was the lead attorney on a team that defended a large national Architectural firm in a complicated claim brought by a very aggressive health care institution's legal team.
At all times, Ms. Brumback patiently and competently led our firm through the process. Our firm had been very successful over the many years it had been in operation in avoiding such claims and, as a result, required much guidance from the legal team in assisting in our own defense.

I returned a product to a store owner and he claimed he would issue me a credit on my credit card once his credit card machine was working again. He never did after multiple phone calls and then sent me a bad check. Melissa wrote him a letter to "put the fear of God (or fear of lawyers, perhaps)" into him, which seemed to work, since he finally sent me a check for my refund that cleared.

Ms. Brumbach represented my firm on two separate occasions. The first as a member of a legal team who defended us against a former client. Rather than meet to discuss the concerns in person, this client was persuaded by an aggressive law firm to resolve the matter through the courts. Their incentive being the expectation of a large insurance settlement from a policy we carried at the time.
The second was as our attorney in a suit to collect fees from a client who withheld final payment for work we performed. Rather than meet to discuss, this client ceased communication.
In both instances she became familiar with the facts very quickly and developed a well conceived plan for both our defense and the merits of our claim.
We would not hesitate to engage her if the need arose once again.

I am from Illinois, I needed an attorney from North Carolina, and Attorney Dedmond guided me through the estate process for my brother. I had to be appointed as administrator of my brother's estate (drafted and submitted the forms to the County Clerk) as he died intestate. Heath also assisted with the sale of the home in providing guidance to the closing attorney for distribution of funds to the heirs. Finally when the estate was closed his direction and assitance with the estate funds disbursement was excellent. I would recommend Heath Dedmond.

Before working directly with the state on what appears to be a straight forward process in handling the death of a loved one's estate, take the time and money, borrow it if you have to, to see Heath Dedmond.
My situation was a disaster after a long and difficult process of traveling back and forth while managing the care of my mom three time zones away, what seemed to be a straight forward estate will turned into a worst case scenario on a soul that was already worn thin. I came to Heath a depressed mess, having no choice but to move forward in a huge decision with only a slightly different set of options from bad to worse. Heath was patient and great at articulating the law in a way that helped me make a decision. He was quick at returning emails, and in the end he closed the estate as smoothly as possible. He stuck to his estimate of what it would cost to handle the estate and did so in a honorable way. Throughout the process it was clear that he empathized with the difficulty of my situation, but it wasn't until the very end that I realized he whole heartedly cared.

I have dealt with numerous Attorneys with my real estate investments, and only with Bill did I feel that I had a person who really cared about my rough situation. I knew without a doubt he had my back the entire time! Bill gave me well researched and outstanding legal advice by taking the extra time and effort to give me all my options. I received a letter from a rental property I had recently moved from. Despite receiving a 30 notice, the property was attempting to charge me an additional 17 days worth of rent. As a servicemember, I was aware of my rights under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) but was not knowledgeable of all the legal complexities and common tricks used by leasing offices to get around the law. Beth quickly research my options and was able to provide the necessary guidance to this developing issue. After my conversation with Beth, I spoke to my former leasing office. I informed them I had spoken to my lawyer and would not simply send them the check for the additional 17 days. The leasing office immediately changed their tone and stated lawyers would not need to be involved in the matter. In the subsequent conversation, the leasing office dropped the 17 day charge and ended up sending me a check for the remainder of my security deposit. I don’t believe I would have received that outcome had it not been for the tailored advice I had received from Beth.

Mrs. Lassiter represented my autistic brother in a modification of guardianship hearing. Having experience with her own special needs child, she got to see the dire situation my brother was in with his current group home. Not only did she show a genuine love and urgency for his well being, she took it upon herself to follow through with a complaint to the state on the conditions and treatment at the home. All of this done on her own, not because we asked her too because we hit roadblocks at every turn, but she did it on her own time.
