“Lee Hotchkin, Esq., recently represented me in a complex DMV felony case related to my hotly contested divorce, regarding a title transfer issue, related to attempting to repair a vehicle that I had purchased new in 2003 with community income… that was involved in a minor accident that the other driver admitted fault, mutually trading insurance information.
Due to COVID restrictions and courthouse closings, Lee Hotchkin was able to postpone the hearing for almost 3 years (with my approval) while strategically negotiating with the DA to plea bargain a trumped up felony charge that was filed by two of my older children, who were given my 50% proxy community interest in our estate without my consent, who never invested a single dollar in our LLC’s, nor the vehicle that it was titled under, all at the prodding of my soon to be ex-wife.
The complexity of combining a ridiculous exaggerated felony charge, with a seemingly never ending divisive divorce, involving over-emotional older children, was a potential recipe for a disastrous outcome… that Lee Hotchkin ultimately worked to our benefit… by pleading only to a minor misdemeanor, thus avoiding a felony trumped up charge and a time consuming trial…!
Although, my attorney Lee Hotchkin and myself BOTH believed that we would have prevailed at trial had we decided NOT to settle… I realized that this legal episode was not worth the resources, emotional toll, nor the expense, to prove our point and innocence while possibly bearing the potential legal liability and outcome of having to go through a jury trial… and by taking Lee Hotchkin’s professional expert advice, we were able to obtain the best possible resolution… for the least expense… whereby by pleading “No Contest”, I also avoid being sued in the future… and in one year, Lee Hotchkin will “SEAL” my criminal record… as if this nightmare never happened…!

I would of never saw this coming for trying to be good to someone going through a tough time in life. I would definitely recommend Lyn. I had Lyn file a motion for an early termination of my probation after I was told by parole and probation I wasn't going to be able to be released early. Lyn was very nice and very professional. She had my motion filed very quickly and about a month after our initial meeting she had already recieved the court order terminating my probation and dismissing my charges. Her price was very reasonable. She was very responsive and kept me up to date on every aspect of my case. If ever in the future I am in need of an attorney, Lyn would be the first one I would call.

Nobody likes lawyers, until you need a lawyer. Knowing that I had Garrett on my side has made owning a business a much more pleasant experience. Garrett Sutton is the reason I can't make lawyer jokes anymore. He is trustworthy, smart, and ethical. Not much room for jokes there. He has helped me incorporate two businesses, written articles for magazines I've edited, and helped me form my publishing company, Lucky Bat Books. He has been there with patient answers for my most ridiculous questions and has always made me feel as if this business stuff is something I can handle. He not only formed my corporation, he guided me through writing contracts and establishing billing regimen, and even recommended someone to do my taxes. I would trust him with any legal matter.
Garrett's kindness is well known in my community and is a major reason I originally sought him out. I interviewed him for a story on autism because of his charity work with Sierra Kids Foundation, which provides money for treatment of autism for families who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford it. I'm glad I did. As a writer and publisher himself, he has given me so much useful advice he ought to write a book. In fact, he has. Several. I've read them all.

Adriana was fantastic. I fired my previous lawyer who did nothing on my auto accident claim and never updated me. Adriana kept me informed every week on the status of my claim and fought hard to get my previous attorney to lower his fees (he tried to get a big fee for doing nothing. She even remained calm when he cussed her out). She got my auto insurance to pay me more money for my totaled car beyond what they originally paid me. She was pleasant and easy to talk to and a darn hard worker. Highly recommend her to anyone. If I ever need a lawyer again I will hire Adriana. Thanks Adriana for doing a great job on my claim.

My wife was in a car accident while driving a rental vehicle. The other driver was at fault and his insurance paid for the damages to the rental vehicle. Nevertheless, the rental company came after us for money we clearly didn't owe them. I found the situation stressful until Mr. Ching got involved. I had a unique case where my belongings were removed from my apt and disposed of. Fanny Mae forclosed on my Landlord and while I was out of town, an extremely arrogant Realtor went in two weeks before I had to be out and in one day trashes most of my belongings. Without so much as a phone call and when confronted without remorse. Every attorney I called didn't seem interested or sympathetic I guess they figured there wasn't enough in it for them to be bothered. And then there's Mark A Goodman! Ironically the last name says it all. When I told Mark my situation, He was not only sympathetic but he seemed genuinely interested in correcting the injustice that I had been going through. Trying to recoup monies for used belongings that any Records or receipts were thrown out along with the items seemed like quite a daunting task. He explained everything in detail every decision was made by me with Mark's guidance and professional opinions. Arming me with the information I needed to make good sound decisions. Without having to go to court we got what we were after. we were awarded a fair settlement. Mark A Goodman bravely marched... where other attorneys fear to tread.

On finding out I was not compliant with my FBAR filing requirements, I hired Aaron to help me go through the FBAR filing and better understand which steps were necessary to become compliant based on FACTA-FBAR regulations. As painful as the experience was, Aaron led me calmly through the process, ensuring all the details were collected and putting himself between myself and the IRS on communications and within the expected length of time my case was completed and I regained compliancy and peace of mind. I continue to use Aaron as my accountant and advisor regarding international investment requirements. In comparison to many companies I contacted, his consulting fees are extremely competitive. My wife and I contacted Mr. Hsu by telephone after being sued by the buyer/new owners of our vacation home in Nevada. Since we reside in California, we went on line looking for legal representation and found Maupin/Cox/Legoy attorneys at law. After explaining our situation to the receptionists, we were put in touch with Mr. Hsu. We advised Mr. Hsu we were being sued for "Fraudulent Misrepresentations and Nondisclosures" in connection with the sale of our property in Nevada the previous year. After explaining everything to Mr. Hsu, he requested certain documents from us which we faxed immediately. Mr. Hsu then responded to opposing counsel within 24 hours explaining our rights, our truthfulness when completing the Seller's Real Property Disclosure Form (SRPD) and Nevada law pertaining to our case. After Mr. Hsu's letter to the opposing counsel, we never heard another word from opposing counsel about this matter. All of this was completed through emails, telephone conversations and faxes. Mr. Hsu is very professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. We would definitely recommend Mr. Hsu should you ever need an attorney. Thank you Rick!

Phil was courteous and attentive. He listened patiently, interjecting questions when needed. Correspondence was sent out quickly and documents filed on time. Phil was easy to reach if I had a concern and was also excellent at contacting me when there was something to report.
I went into our first meeting with opposing counsel and my now, ex-partner feeling very anxious. Immediately it became obvious Phil was well-versed in my case. He was able to root out the weakness in opposing counsels positions, surgically dissecting inconsistencies in their arguments, showing they were ill-prepared. By the end of this first meeting I was sitting tall, knowing that I was in good hands.
It was enjoyable working with Phil. I could tell he really enjoys what he does. He treated my case like a chess game, anticipating opposing counsels moves, then figuring out how to overcome two moves ahead.
One thing I really appreciated was his honesty. He let me know potential costs and time involved with my choice of paths to take.
Sometimes in business you can get bitter and want revenge. You argue over principle rather than a fair and just outcome. Phil kept me focused on the intellectual aspect of my case rather than on my emotions that would have cost me $1000's of wasted dollars. He truly is a remarkable attorney.

Last year my Dad passed away and there were problems with his estate. Before Joe, I hired two attorneys to help me. The first one charged me $2,500 for two letters. The second charged me $10,000, never answered any questions,never sent me an invoice, withdrew from the case and left me high and dry.

Mr. Lemons worked with me on my case for an extended period of time so I feel as though I know him.
