Attorney Chester has been referred to me by the online Montgomery Bar Association Referral Service. NO THE PHONE REFERRAL SERVICE, I have to underline that because they are incredible and do they best to assist. Back to Mr.Chester! I contacted him for a Condo Association dispute. first thing on the phone, He asked me what is the management company, I told him and he answered: " the company is owned by a good friend of his". Without being an attorney I spotted a conflict of interest right at the beginning of the conversation and the end of the conversation attests it and the lack of objectivity of this attorney. He found normal for a management company to hold a storage key of an owner for 2 years, He found normal a management company don't have and hold accurate and update paperwork. That management provide a 1989 ( 35 YEARS OLD) contract to be applied on a newly owned property of 2020. and so on.
I definitely DO NOT recommend this attorney.
He doesn't go to court to represent you or the law he studied!!

If I could leave 20 stars I would. I’ve been working with Divorce with a Plan since February and man am I glad I have them in my corner. It’s been a rollercoaster this far but this law firm has helped me through, especially in times of need. They’ve worked with me financially as well as come through last minute and saved me from false allegations that wooded kept me from my daughter. After nearly a year of trying to negotiate my mortgage loan, my wife convinced me to hire a firm to handle it. Stephanie drew up spreadsheets and profit and loss statements and helped me properly prove hardship which got my loan modification approved. Within 3 months, my loan was reworked and I could finally afford the monthly payments. Since I have caught up on the mortgage, I am filing a chapter 7 bankruptcy to rid myself of the credit card and medical debt. I am definitely happy with the service and I plan on continuing to use their services.

I sought her legal help. My case (according to her) was not complex, and when asked during consultation I was told that a resolution plan will be provided within the estimated cost expenditure. After months of invoicing, charging a lot of fees, no plan was provided instead more money was asked. I had to give several reminders, to provide me a work product other than just receiving invoices. It was disheartening to experience such poor customer service and misleading of a client. The work product when provided had mistakes with several incorrect statements. With such a terrible experience, a lot of money charged no concrete result, I had to end the agreement. Even during closure more money was charged in invoices for work that was very bad and questionable.

Mitch always made the closing easy and less expensive. he would find errors in the loan documants by national lenders and correct them, saving me hundreds of dollars at the table. When getting a loan from an out of state lender, he would contact them directly so they knoew how to do business properly in Maryland and not over charge me as the lenders were inclined to do.

This is an arrogant overrated attorney, who did very little with my personal injury case over a period of eight months. After failing to get insurance information, he reneged on our original agreement, and wanted a $10,000 fee instead. Errors were made in mailing documents, and the limited amount of work that was done was dilatory and shoddy. Hiring this attorney was a total waste of time.

Stay away from him. It's impossible to communicate with him given his bad attitude, nasty temper and some sort of learning disability. He turned a successful case into a disastrous failure for no apparent reason. He did not discuss the pros and cons of his approach and at the end of the process his charges turned out to be more that what the opposing side had asked to settle! Then the final outcome was a financial disaster for which I have to pay with my really hard-earned money forever.
He should retire or better, be disbarred. A combination of greed and bad attitude plus incompetence. There was absolutely no reason not to settle but he made his money and "took tremendous pleasure" in ignoring the opposing attorney (who was actually more professional than him) basically ignoring what was good for me but pleasing himself at my cost. The legal system is plagued by monsters like this who act with impunity.

Was referred to Mr. Riffkin from a colleague about estate planning. He only partially completed the job, but not before I had paid him in full. Since then he has been VERY unresponsive. To repeatedly try and get a response for 2 months is not reasonable. However, before he was paid, he was responsive. Lesson - don't pay in full until every part of the service is completed.
