I dont know what your situation is and im keeping my name hidden for privacy reasons but this guy isaac choy saved my life literally. At first i thought he wasnt doing his job but he was i was just too impatient. Its a slow process. Dont trick yourself being impatient. I had a case in 2019 and the only deal was 7 years 4 month and 4 felonies including a california strike. I got him as a panel attorney and he saved my life. Lets fast forward to sentencing. We did not file a romero motion and he got me 2 felonies no strike no prison time and a county year all of which i served on ankle monitor. I think i did about 88 days total in the main jail maybe less but that was prior to him actually starting the work on my case. In the beginning i felt like he was ignoring me but hes just like that. He works like that but he WAS working to help me and for me and i couldnt have asked for a better outcome or attorney. Let him work for you. Its going to take some time because theirs so many california cases. I hope your end result is as good as mine

Mr. Donato was not aggressive and didn't communicate well. In fact he didn't do much. I called and emailed him several times , to no avail. I met with Donato once to discuss case strategy. The day of the "Hearing of information" Mr. Donato tells me he cannot go to trial for me and that I would have to hire another attorney. Donato referred me to his Private Investigator, we spoke I paid her retainer as well and never heard from this person again. I'm still waiting for a response to my many text and email attempts. Nevertheless, Donato cut me a refund check to go away. I guess my money wasn't good enough. Zero Stars. I hired the public Defender and I'm 150% satisfied comparing to my previous council.

My story begins a year ago when my house was raided by the cops. They were lookin for someone who had a warrant. When I went to jail my whole life flipped upside down. Fear of losing my job and even worse ruining my record with a felony was overwhelming. My public defender said that I didn't have a case and they weren't likely to give me a deal or a break. Immediately I began searching for a lawyer. Like everyone who searches for a lawyers, my number one concern, after winning the case, would be the ammount I paid for the lawyer. Alan Donato's hiring fees were a couple thousand dollars cheaper than other lawyers. After I hired him my worries went away. He walked me through every step of the way. Basically all I needed to do was show up when he needed me to. Most of the language and laws were foreign to me but I wasn't worried. One year later, my case is being dropped after I complete some classes. It went from no case and no chance of winning with the public defender to a total victory in my eyes.. I just wanted to thank Mr. Donato again. You saved my life!

Don't just walk - RUN! This guy is a criminal! This was the worst experience of my life. I searched the reviews here and saw all positive reviews, but they were all from LegalZoom. What Mr. Decker does is he recruits, he doesn't do law. He is very smooth and knows exactly what to say until you sign on the dotted line. I thought I was hiring Mr. Decker, but soon as I gave him the deposit, he did a bait and switch and sent me to a junior attorney to negotiate a settlement with a huge company. They laughed her out of the room! I knew he was a charlatan when I asked him a legal question in an email, and he called to respond with a very vague answer (didn't want to put it in writing). But the worst of this came after Mr. Decker asked for a $10K deposit on what he said would be a $2K job. So, it was a $2000 job, he wrote a contract not to exceed $13,000, asked for 10K up front, then sent me a bill for $22K!!! $22K to negotiate a settlement - maybe 20 emails total back and forth!!! The case was to settle $16K!!! You can't make this stuff up! Despite the contract and emails, he was still bold enough. I agreed to pay him $5K total and he agreed, just to be done, which was double what he said, and it is then the nightmare started all over again - he started blackmailing me. He coerced me into signing a contract that I wouldn't sue him. He wouldn't release my deposit until I signed. I almost went into cardiac arrest! In fact beware, I reported him to the attorney referral program, and they told me it is an increasing problem that attorneys coerce clients into signing non-disparagement clause, so they can't leave bad reviews.

In 2011 my wife and I hired Real Estate Attorney Mitch Abdallah to help us with an allegedly fraudulent bank action by a major American bank. In all his dealings with us Mitch was thoughtful and caring and we are pleased with how our case turned out and how he regularly communicated with us during this extremely difficult and stressful time. He also helped us quickly understand some of the more difficult to understand legal aspects and timing of events of the Real Estate process.
Because of his knowledge and experience in Real Estate law and processes, we were able to remain in our home for several years while in the loan default situation. Because of his pertinent and timely filing of the suit in our behalf, we were able to work out an agreeable solution with the bank which allowed us to remain in our home during negotiations. Unfortunately, the sole wage earner of the family suffered a stroke during this time, which made him unable to work, cutting the household income by more than 50%. At this point, the bank wanted to foreclose. Mitch negotiated a favorable settlement with the bank; which allowed us to attempt to sell our home, which we promptly did, saving us additional heartaches and avoiding severe financial loss. Mitch was the right man for the job.

I initially went to Mr. Abdallah for help with a loan modification. He provided excellent service, but during the process my circumstances changed. He therefore ended up representing me in a bankruptcy, which was handled professionally and expediently. Just to be clear, I made the initial call regarding bankruptcy due to a significant change in my financial situation. I was not "steered" or coerced in any manner in this regard. I am now buying a home, and have sought Mr. Abdallah's assistance in navigating this process. For this review, I have put Real Estate and <1 month, as that is my current relationship with him. However, I was first a client over 5 years ago and will return for any need in his area of specialty in the future.

This attorney should never be used for foreclosure defense. Charges 5000 for retainer and does NOT tell you when how or what he is doing with your money until it is spent. I have filed with BBB and CA Bar associate. He uses his brother who is obvious just out if law school and knows squat aboutforeclisure defense. They mixed my trust account with another and did not know where it was.

I have used Ronald Roundy for most of my business and real estate legal issues since 2014.
As a former court clerk and paralegal, I have to say that I have never been disappointed with his work and is a consummate professional. Ronald is an outstanding attorney. Even my ex-employer, a former state court judge, has complimented him.

Andrew Grundman and his law firm are some of the most incompetent lawyers I have ever dealt with. So not use this law firm. They are very incompetent and unreliable when it comes to performing their duties. They've made several errors in my case regarding my divorce which delayed the process.
