I have launched 4 start-up companies. Rich Saffir was my attorney for my first company which was a successful venture. He is extremely capable and professional, and believe me, this is the guy you want on your side of the table in any business negotiation. I am an attorney that hired Bob for my own personal tax situation as he came with the highest recommendations from my other attorney friends that had used him. Robert Aaron assisted me in a wage claim on commissions due in the digital media space. He was generous with his time and expertise...gave me fair and unbiased opinion as the the relative merits of my case and the liklihood of if it was going to trial or settle. Michael was the lead associate on our class action and I was a class representative. His hard work made sure that all of my friends and former co-workers never had to settle for less than we should have gotten and we were overjoyed with the success we all had on the case. He always kept us in the loop and never made us feel like second class citizens. while all lot of older lawyers talk down to you, Michael truly related to what we had been through and even used to do exactly the work we did when he was in school. This is my lawyer. He has worked for me for the past two years, free of charge, as part of the Sgt. Shriver Custody Project at the Justice and Diversity Center. My ex had a team of lawyers, advocates, and a support system that caused me to nearly give up on ever having a relationship with my young children. His wise counsel made sure we didn't get nasty over trivial pleadings from the other side, we avoided name calling, and handle the situation with dignity and respect. So often things can't be taken back in the egregiously adversarial process, where winning at any price is often the goal of attorneys, but not Javier. Whose broad shoulders bear the brunt of numerous insidious attacks. His patience never wore thin, and ultimately we are winning. I get to spend precious time with my kids and the hurt feelings of my ex have subsided. Javier Bastidas is a long game player who never loses focus on the end zone, no matter how far away it seems.
