After my most recent spinal surgery in December 2018, I was unable to return to work full-time. My company provided Short- and Long-Term Disability (LTD) benefits through an insurer. Based on their proximity and the user reviews I found, I contacted Andalman & Flynn (A&F) in February 2019, and subsequently chose to have them (Elliott Andalman, primarily) represent me and handle my claim for LTD benefits. My claim was denied in August 2019. Based on their recommendation, we chose to have them file an appeal with the insurer, which was done in January 2020. In April 2020, the insurer granted the appeal and provided LTD benefits retroactive to April 2019.
Throughout the process/ordeal, A&F was responsive, supportive, professional, and thorough. Without these qualities, we would have never successfully persevered or prevailed. I highly recommend their services for anyone in a similar situation.

I reached out to Andalman and Flynn in the early part of 2016. This firm were the only firm that accepted my case on a contingency basis. This was music to my ears because I did not have any income due to the sudden separation of my agency. I was not prepared. Although hope had been restored, as I had my free consultation with Elliot. I was diagnosed with PTSD, Depression and Anxiety. It was a long battle with OPM, but Elliot was persistent and he prevailed. He guided me every step of the way.
"We Won!" is the news I heard on July 2, 2020!!! What a 4th of July Celebration!!! After nearly a five year extended journey, those are the words I heard on this day. I hired Peter Casciano to appeal the denial of my Maryland state disability retirement application. I have been absolutely amazed by his knowledge, skill, professionalism, understanding of the law and compassion. Peter knows my case inside and out. He gathered all of my medical records and data, and his understanding of disability law in Maryland is boundless. Peter made me feel like a part of his team and shared all his remarkable plans of action and asked my opinion about issues. A skilled listener, Peter communicated very well, answering questions through emails and calls very quickly. I understood the process of this difficult law because he answers questions so clearly. Appealing a decision at Maryland state retirement disability is a very difficult and arduous process, but Peter guided me through expertly, and made it easier to go through knowing I had him. I ended up having a hearing in front of a judge and I was initially terrified, but Peter reassured me and prepared me well. Mr. Casciano called me in response to an email inquiry regarding difficulty in obtaining a decision regarding our adult daughter's disability determination after about 8 months. After listening to my story and asking follow up questions, he said that we were on the right road, and gave some specifics on my follow up with SS. He said that we did not need to hire him at this point, and he did not want to take our money for no reason. I followed Mr. Casciano's suggestions, and about 8 weeks later we received the determination that our daughter is disabled and not capable of working.
It was a blessing to have someone listen to my story and give me reassurance that we were doing things the proper way.
He told me that I could call back and hire him if we did not receive an answer or needed additional help after we received the decision.

Mr. Wikramanayake was the counsel in a complex business litigation case I was involved with a year ago. He was extremely professional, courteous and relentless in his pursuit of a positive outcome for his client.

I spent quite a bit of time looking for a good lawyer with his specialties and once I learned about his experience and capabilities, I knew that I would not be satisfied if any other lawyer were to take on my case. I am pleased to say that he accepted my case after our initial consultation phone call.
Morris knew exactly what was needed to win my case. Shortly after we submitted a specific statement that Morris told me to get, the agency signed a settlement agreement with me, in my favor. I would also add that Morris exceeded the amount of legal work performed compared to the fees for my case.

There were continuing issues with my divorce that continued for 10 years. My original lawyer was no longer working on these issues. I consulted 2 other lawyers to help solve the outstanding issues. I hired one of them. A resolution required me to go back to court and I wanted a lawyer to help me with this. Both attorneys contacted recommended an adversarial approach. After 10 years, I just wanted to end it.
