I didn't know this was such a powerhouse of a law firm until after I retained them to handle my divorce. The thing I liked best about dealing with them was they always treated me like a person, not just an account or client. The entire staff is that way. I especially enjoyed meeting with Mr. Goldstein because he was very understanding and compassionate. Regardless of how bleak I thought my situation was, I felt reassured and confident after meeting with him.
During the process of my divorce I also learned that G&S worked in many other legal disciplines including wills, trusts and estate matters, Immigration, and criminal law. The attorneys assigned to my case handled all of it competently and professionally. In addition to handling family law, one of them had been a prosecutor, another was well versed in immigration. About the only thing they don't handle is real estate.
I highly recommend this firm. Regardless of the type of legal matter, if it's handled by Goldstein & Scopellite I don't think you can retain anyone better.

I hired "Goldstein and Scopellite" about two years ago to take over as counsel in a complex litigation matter that was not going favorably. The case involved four attorneys and had many parties. When they took over the case, they were able to quickly review the lengthy file, develop a strategy to fix initial issues that were critical, and then develop a long-term strategy to win the case, which never would have happened if I had not hired them.
Mr. Goldstein and Ms. Scopellite, the partners of the firm, are professional lawyers who actually care about your case, just like they say they do on their website. They were attentive, personable, and helped me to understand the process much better than I did before hiring them.
I would highly recommend using this law firm and their services if you have an on-going case that is not going well. They can help turn things completely around. I would also recommend hiring them for any new legal matter; I wish I had hired them in the first place.

Called and inquired about being able to meet and discuss being a victim of a Ponzi Scheme. Answered questions and provided information over the phone. Was told I would be contacted back in 3 days. A week and a half went by and no call back. Sent an email to get an update, etc. Two weeks later still no response. Definitely not impressed with the level of communication or follow-up.

Wish my friend would have read the reviews before she hired this guy. Her divorce case is being handled just as the other 2 or 3 bad reviews said theirs was. He does the bare minimum if anything at all except to charge an extrodinary amount of money. He charges what seems to be a flat fee for all types of divorces, the magic number is $100,000.00. If you try to communicate your concerns it looks like he just abandons the case. Would not recommend for a divorce case.

I dont know the words to use to show how thankful we are for Mrs. Haralambie's services. If you are looking for a dependency attorney or any other family law situation you won't find another attorney with the experience of Ann Haralambie. She is both aggressive and straight brilliant in the court room. She is very confident in the court room and very well spoken.She will tell you the way it is and she does not make false promises. Everyone that we talked to told us that its impossible to get you child back at a temporary custody hearing. Ann told us not to expect her to come home that it is very hard to win these hearings. Thank's to Mrs. Haralambie's 40 plus year's of family law experience we brought our daughter home on that date. Mrs. Haralambie is not only a great Attorney but a very compassionate person.Both my wife and I highly recommend anyone with a case like a dependency case to not waste any time and get Mrs. Haralambie on your side.There is nothing more important then family and I am very thankful that Mrs. Haralambie was the one that we had fighting to keep ours together.She was the only dependency attorney that a origination called Mito Action had to refer us to.Mito Action is a non profit group that helps protect children with mitochondrial issues and educate both doctors and the public about this very difficult to diagnose disease. After I paid him my retainer to defend me in my misdemeanor case, he acted like it was a complete waste of his time if I called to inquire about my case (I think I called his office a total of 5 times over the course of my 3-year case). He turned out to be the classic "plea-bargain lawyer"--he got my money, made routine court appearances, then finally encouraged me to plead guilty, presumably to save himself the time of going to trial. So I served a jail term for an offense that I learned almost nobody except his clients go to jail for. Finally, he never got my conviction "set aside" like he had promised he would do after my case was over; I wound up hiring another lawyer to finish his job.

I went to get help on a probate issue. He wandered mentally all over the place. He repeated things he had said several times. He charged me $400 for a consultation that was 40 minutes long, my choice. I felt he addressed issues that were not relevant. When i questioned him he said "I am the lawyer". Never did answers of what forms were needed and a quess on a timeline.
