The most stressful time of my life was filing for divorce. Joy and her team helped me through this excruciating process, answered all my questions, and provided relevant advice and direction on what to do and what NOT to do. I hired Hasidic a few months ago and it started off very good. He was very good at communicating at least when I would contact him. Sent me an email letting me know how much his law group would be demanding from my former employers and things seemed to be going great and afterwards, everything just stopped. I sent text messages requesting that if he could keep me updated with my case so that I won’t bother him that would be nice but of course that never happened. Time went by and I felt the need to reach out and find out what the status was and I didn’t hear anything, a month went by and after me texting and calling a good number of times to no reply and finally I called the main office to let them know I wanted to part my ways with them and that’s when he finally texted me to tell me he was on vacation and will review my case once he returned but could’ve told me that before leaving. Smh The lack of communication wasn’t there and overall just didn’t seem as professional as they should’ve been. I won’t say that can’t help others but definitely didn’t help me and I will never work with them again. I should’ve read other reviews being trying to work with them.

I was involved (starting in 2004) in a probate case with another lawyer.
I spent the next 5 years trying to get him to be a lawyer. He was very incompetent and the experience was horrible.
I needed someone to help me out of the mess the other lawyer created.
And it was a mess and complicated by this time.
I found Eric Gordon by a referral, and from that day my entire case began to look like something that We could resolve.
Eric shared with me all the unethical actions of the other lawyer.
Once he took on my case it all came together in MY favor.
Eric walked with me through the legal system steps and all that he needed to do so that I always knew what was going on. Huge for me since the other lawyer was impossible to get return calls and emails from.
Besides his total professionalism, Eric was available to me on every level. I felt watched out for and cared about as a real human being.
He goes the extra mile to do what is necessary . A rare trait these days.
Not only is the whole case finally behind me, I was also, with Erics
help awarded a settlement!!
If I ever need a lawyer again, I only wish It could be Eric Gordon.

I was looking everywhere for a lawyer to handle my case to evict a tenant. Luckily, I found Sep! I drove 2 hours to meet him to consult my case, and it was well worth my time. We won the eviction and was able to get my property back all in one piece. That’s not all, he went above and beyond to help me claim money back from the insurance to cover the costs and repairs. I was just looking at my peer reviews on Avvo and thought I have to do one for Sep. I'm an attorney and Sep is actually my attorney. He first contacted me to be an expert witness on a foreclosure matter and after many conversations with him I hired him to represent me on a case. So far, he's represented me on two matters, and while litigation is not pleasant for the participants (not sure if it's worse or better when you yourself are an attorney) it was always a relief knowing Sep was my attorney. When people hire me and leave my office saying they feel a weight lifted from their shoulders that is the highest compliment.
That is what I can say about Sep; that is exactly how I feel when I retain him. When he is handling your matter, your mind can be at peace as long as you do what he asks and trust him.

Dana Urick was my divorce attorney for six years. I know that this is an unusually long time, but that is what happens with a complicated divorce. Dana was wonderful to work with. She was caring, smart, dedicated, and honest. She was also very articulate and driven to get a divorce agreement that would suit my children and me. At the time of my separation, I was a stay at home mom and had stopped working for seven years. Dana encouraged me to go back to school and get a master's degree, which I am grateful for. Dana is very approachable and easy to talk with, yet she is fierce in the court room. She was actually the second lawyer that I hired to work on my case, after the first lawyer cost me a lot of money and did not help much. I have remained in contact with Dana and consider her a friend now. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is in need of a family law attorney.

I had a horrible situation where the apartment manager of my complex used his financial means to coerce someone into committing perjury and submitting a false declaration against me to get a restraining order to kick me out of my building. The apt. mgr had hired a federal prosecutor and was out to ruin my life, but Fadi and his team would not back down and we ended up settling outside of court. Fadi cares about his clients and not only is he a shrewd lawyer, but he's also a good man and I will be forever grateful. I always refer him.

If you really want a direct, personal, and honest experience with a lawyer, Fadi Amer is the man to go to. I had complications with my insurance claim after I had gotten into a car accident. I ended up trying a few different attorneys before I ended up with Mr. Amer. From the very beginning, I was warmly welcomed to the firm (with lots of smiles and care), and was able to see Mr. Amer, not too long after my arrival. He had already looked into my case, and immediately started to go over it with me detail by detail, explaining everything along the way. In all honesty, what made him stand out was how upfront he was with the situation and at the same time I can really see that he is a caring person. Despite Mr. Amer's professionalism, he still made me feel very comfortable to the point where I felt as if I have known him for years. Also, what I really liked was the fact that he followed up with case almost immediately and constantly, making sure that all my questions were answered. Plus his first consultation is super cheap. I was involved in a very serious car accident which left me severly injured and left with a limp. I want and saw 3 other personal injury attorneys and just hated how pushy and salesmen like they were. Fadi was 180 degrees different and actually encouraged me to see other attorneys. I hired Robert Adler, at the last minute, to represent me at trial against a collection agency. This agency sued me because I refused to pay for services that I did not want or ask for. Mr. Adler took charge at the Mandatory Settlement Conference (“MSC”). Because of Mr. Adler’s persuasive meditation skills, the deal he made with the collection agency was fair, and I am more than satisfied with the result. Mr. Adler did not come cheap but he was totally worth it. I would use his expertise again, and I would definitely recommend him.

Robert, Mr. Adler is a wonderful attorney with decades of experience and knowledge. His wisdom and expertise guided me through a very complex and multi faceted real estate "issue". Having him as council made me feel I was completely protected which gave me piece of mind. Priceless period. I first met Nick when he was hired as opposing counsel in a business litigation matter. I was so extremely impressed with the results that he obtained for his client in that matter, that on the next occasion I had to hire a litigation attorney, I called Nick.
Nick is an attorney that quickly understands and masters the details in cases that have voluminous documentation and many factual and legal nuances. He is really an attorney's attorney. He is able to develop very novel but compelling arguments, and does not get bogged down or mistake the forest for the trees. He keeps his billing very reasonable, keeping in mind that achieving a good result for his client is the primary directive.

I was a 31 year firefighter with VCFD. I had numerous on the job injuries, the worst were cumulative trauma to my back. Trying to use the county’s work comp system was most often slow, unpleasant and a waste of time. Thanks to Mr. Sherwin, I was able to get through the process and receive treatment. By the time I was reaching the end of my career, Mr. Wicke was able to deal with the county’s attorneys and bureaucratic nonsense. In the end, I received a deserved medical retirement.
Unfortunately, I still have unresolved medical issues. Mr Sherwin was able to again deal with the Sedgwick (workers comp) and get all my issues settled. In this way I never had to go through the county again and can seek my own treatment through my insurance. This process is much quicker. Days instead of months. There is no way in Ventura County to manage this process without this great team of lawyers.

The most stressful time of my life was filing for divorce.
