We had an extremely great experience with Mr Fredrick G. Voigtmann. My girlfriend was having so much trouble with her ESTA and Mr. Voigtmann came in and saved the day. This law office has been the biggest breath of fresh air for my partner and I. I seriously do not know where we would be without them. Immigration law can be a very complex and nerve-wrecking thing. But from the moment I first talked with Fred and his team they were incredibly understanding to my situation.
This review alone does not justify how helpful and amazing they have been but I hope it shines a light on how amazing they are. We are very fortunate to have people like them specializing in such a complicated profession and do it in a way that feels less stressful through thorough detail, and kindness/friendliness.
One of my biggest worries when finding a law office to help us was that they would not listen to me in detail and just want the 'shortened' version of things rather than understanding the full range of the situation and what led to our nail-biting situations.
Fred and Stephany carefully listened to every single thing I had to say, and I honestly felt as if they cared for my partner and I as if we were their close-family. I genuinely felt a connection with them and felt that they wanted the best for us.
It's hard to explain that connection over a review, but your best bet is to find out for yourself. I highly suggest that if you are seeking for legal advice to please consider their office and find out for yourself why the office is so highly reputable. I stand by my word when I say you will not regret it one bit.

Anna provides counsel for my family on a number of challenging issues related to our family's estate. She has helped us to navigate the legalities of trust administration, asset protection, asset planning, debt, incapacity and health concerns. Another important thing we needed help with was advice on how to manage a longstanding elder abuse situation, which has been extremely stressful and challenging. She was very reassuring in helping with this huge problem that we had been experiencing.
She has also done business-related work, like contract review and writing certain agreements, which has helped us to avoid potentially costly disputes.

I'm not one to write reviews but I felt I had to save someone the time and money. I'm a single mother and hired Mr Morris back in October 2023. When I called he immediately answered but told me he was at church and would get back to me. He did indeed got back to me. I told him I really needed help and I needed an aggressive attorney dealing with my Childs father for my child custody case. I decided to go with him because he seemed trustworthy and he was the only lawyer that allowed payments towards the retainer fee. I felt so relieved to have an attorney and someone to represent me. After my contracts were signed he was so difficult to get in touch with. He never asked me questions about my case and I never heard from anyone unless I called them. He has a call center answering once you become a client and he has 2 paralegals named Amy and Kristina. I always spoke to Kristina and she said I needed to relax and that my case was a simple case. Implying that it was going to be smooth and I had nothing to worry about. When they finally filed the paperwork for me to serve my daughters father I had to keep calling them in regards to that matter also. It was a week before my case and I still hadn't heard anything back from Kristina or Mr Morris.. Coming to find out she had a death in her family and Mr Morris was on vacation in Belize. Since he was gone my daughters fathers attorney managed to get the case moved to the Whittier courthouse when we filed in LA and had them served. So now I'm the recipient and he's the petitioner. He let this other Attorney walk all over him and call the shots. Btw The judge in Whittier was a nightmare. She has terrible reviews and is bias. But At this point my anxiety is through the roof because I can't get in touch with anyone, we don't have a case to present because they still haven't asked or guided me on anything to do. He didnt tell me to start documenting anything or pulling up text! Nothing. I had to have my mom call from her number because once you become a client they screen your calls. She pretended to be interested in hiring him and guess what! He called her back. After a month of not speaking to me at all. So he finally gave me an appointment to meet him at his office to go over my case. He never wrote down any notes of asked me what the other party could have against me. Nothing! Finally court, Mr Morris showed up 30 minutes late to court! He didn't register us, when we were in front of the judge he didn't know my case. The Judge asked him what was the status quo and he turned and asked me. I almost got contempt of court because he wasn't saying anything of substance out of his mouth that I told him. They judge kept asking him what was his point. He was talking circles. It was completely embarrassing. He had no fight in court! He didn't take notes at all in court either. You are better off representing yourself. After that horrible experience, I was so distraught. I fired him the next day. He still proceeded to tell the third party who I was going through to pay for him that he rendered all my services and I still owed him 4000 dollars. I will be suing him and reporting them to the bar. He's a money hungry lazy attorney that uses his faith as a front. He doesn't care about making sure you keep your family together.

Mr Ring is THE MOST prepared, and detail oriented lawyer out there. He is kind, compassionate, funny and best of all, at the top of his game. Mr. Ring goes into every situation, be it a deposition, negotiation or trial, prepared for all contingencies, and it was amazing how spot on he was in plotting our case. Bart has been my go-to attorney for legal advice in California. He has always been honest, reliable, professional, and prompt. He has an incredible ability to understand the whole picture as well as find creative solutions to resolve the matter (satisfactorily at the very least) without trial. Bart knows when to stand his ground and when to back down. He does not fight just to fight. If all attorneys had half the skills Bart has, the legal field would not have such a stigma.

I decided to go with him because he seemed trustworthy and he was the only lawyer that allowed payments towards the retainer fee. I felt so relieved to have an attorney and someone to represent me. After my contracts were signed he was so difficult to get in touch with. He never asked me questions about my case and I never heard from anyone unless I called them. He has a call center answering once you become a client and he has 2 paralegals named Amy and Kristina. I always spoke to Kristina and she said I needed to relax and that my case was a simple case. Implying that it was going to be smooth and I had nothing to worry about. When they finally filed the paperwork for me to serve my daughters father I had to keep calling them in regards to that matter also. It was a week before my case and I still hadn't heard anything back from Kristina or Mr Morris.. Coming to find out she had a death in her family and Mr Morris was on vacation in Belize. Since he was gone my daughters fathers attorney managed to get the case moved to the Whittier courthouse when we filed in LA and had them served. So now I'm the recipient and he's the petitioner. He let this other Attorney walk all over him and call the shots. Btw The judge in Whittier was a nightmare. She has terrible reviews and is bias. But At this point my anxiety is through the roof because I can't get in touch with anyone, we don't have a case to present because they still haven't asked or guided me on anything to do. He didnt tell me to start documenting anything or pulling up text! Nothing. I had to have my mom call from her number because once you become a client they screen your calls. She pretended to be interested in hiring him and guess what! He called her back. After a month of not speaking to me at all. So he finally gave me an appointment to meet him at his office to go over my case. He never wrote down any notes of asked me what the other party could have against me. Nothing! Finally court, Mr Morris showed up 30 minutes late to court! He didn't register us, when we were in front of the judge he didn't know my case. They judge kept asking him what was his point. He was talking circles. It was completely embarrassing. He had no fight in court! He didn't take notes at all in court either. He still proceeded to tell the third party who I was going through to pay for him that he rendered all my services and I still owed him 4000 dollars. Fred, and his staff, are wonderful and caring people. He represented me on a case, with the upmost professionalism. He was thorough, and efficient. I truly believe, I couldn’t have had a better defense attorney. He defended me with respect, and determination. I couldn’t have hoped for a better outcome. I'm not one to write reviews but I felt I had to save someone the time and money. I'm a single mother and hired Mr Morris back in October 2023. When I called he immediately answered but told me he was at church and would get back to me. He did indeed got back to me. I told him I really needed help and I needed an aggressive attorney dealing with my Childs father for my child custody case. I decided to go with him because he seemed trustworthy and he was the only lawyer that allowed payments towards the retainer fee. I felt so relieved to have an attorney and someone to represent me. After my contracts were signed he was so difficult to get in touch with. He never asked me questions about my case and I never heard from anyone unless I called them. He has a call center answering once you become a client and he has 2 paralegals named Amy and Kristina. I always spoke to Kristina and she said I needed to relax and that my case was a simple case. Implying that it was going to be smooth and I had nothing to worry about. When they finally filed the paperwork for me to serve my daughters father I had to keep calling them in regards to that matter also. It was a week before my case and I still hadn't heard anything back from Kristina or Mr Morris.. Coming to find out she had a death in her family and Mr Morris was on vacation in Belize. Since he was gone my daughters fathers attorney managed to get the case moved to the Whittier courthouse when we filed in LA and had them served. So now I'm the recipient and he's the petitioner. He let this other Attorney walk all over him and call the shots. Btw The judge in Whittier was a nightmare. She has terrible reviews and is bias. But At this point my anxiety is through the roof because I can't get in touch with anyone, we don't have a case to present because they still haven't asked or guided me on anything to do. He didnt tell me to start documenting anything or pulling up text! Nothing. I had to have my mom call from her number because once you become a client they screen your calls. She pretended to be interested in hiring him and guess what! He called her back. After a month of not speaking to me at all. So he finally gave me an appointment to meet him at his office to go over my case. He never wrote down any notes of asked me what the other party could have against me. Nothing! Finally court, Mr Morris showed up 30 minutes late to court! He didn't register us, when we were in front of the judge he didn't know my case. The Judge asked him what was the status quo and he turned and asked me. I almost got contempt of court because he wasn't saying anything of substance out of his mouth that I told him. They judge kept asking him what was his point. He was talking circles. It was completely embarrassing. He had no fight in court! He didn't take notes at all in court either. You are better off representing yourself. After that horrible experience, I was so distraught. I fired him the next day. He still proceeded to tell the third party who I was going through to pay for him that he rendered all my services and I still owed him 4000 dollars. I will be suing him and reporting them to the bar. He's a money hungry lazy attorney that uses his faith as a front. He doesn't care about making sure you keep your family together.

John Nicholson never should have taken my case, Mr Nicholson was recommended to me by a casual friend, it was a simple probate, he took over 4 years to barely complete it, he didn't know what he was doing and didn't text or use Email, which I found highly unusual, he had excuses for everything, maybe he's done great work for someone else, but certainly not for me, at the end of the day , I hired him, so I messed up, but like I said, he never, ever should have taken my case !

I have nothing but good to say about John F. Nicholson and the Services he has provided to me since MAR2015 and still does. He took on a very messy ongoing Divorce Case for me and has provided nothing but honest and realistic guidance, advise, and hard work in trying to get my case "cleaned up" and turned around. He has even provided me with unrelated legal business advise at no cost in the process. Attorney billings are notoriously high, but John F. Nicholson is the first Attorney I have dealt with, where the cost very reasonably reflect the work and long hours he has put into my case - Do I like to pay : NO - but I put my self in this situation, and he promised to assist me, and he has, so I actually don't feel too bad about paying his Invoices - I just wish I had met him earlier on, maybe if I had my mess would have been less of a mess !
John f. Nicholson is, by my standards, a good, old school, Attorney, hard working, not afraid of digging in and getting it done, is fair towards his clients, to the case, and towards the opponents (whether they believe so or not), and he will tell it to you as it is. I hope I wont need his services again in the future, but if I do, I will for sure contact John immediately !

Avoid at all costs. I had the misfortune of using an attorney from this firm. They over charge, and then proceeded to do the bare minimum. In court they are too passive letting the other side have their way resulting in my child suffering as a result.
Do not let your family suffer.
Update: my attorney from this firm contacted me about my review. They stated that their poor work was intended to save me money. I never asked for that.

Terry charges $500 and hour. He blew through my $5,000 retainer quickly. I never received one invoice in the mail.
In fact, I never met this man except for we had a conversation over the phone and I trusted him. He didn't do much to help my case except for he went and filed a document at court.
After several months, I decided to meet Terry in person because at that point we were getting close to mediation and something didn't sit well with me because the last conversation we had he demanded another $5,000 retainer if not he didn't want to speak to me and hung up the phone. That did not sit well with me!! At that point I was contemplating whether or not I wanted to continue to keep him as my attorney .
Well my intuition was spot on the whole time he kept on looking at his watch. I thought that he was so rude and unprofessional this man already blew through $5,000 for a set of paperwork and a ton of emails and here's the kicker he ended up charging me $450 for meeting him who does that?? I feel that Terry totally took advantage of me and I've learned a lot along the way that will never happen again!!
Rule #1 never do a consultation over the phone always meet the person face-to-face.
I was told by a couple other attorneys that the little amount of work that Terry did was not much. I basically got ripped off.
At that point I knew I needed to cut my losses and move on.
I finally came across a great attorney named William (Bill) Koehler $310 an hour very knowledgeable, professional, assertive and most importantly HONEST! Did I mention he's also the mayor of Agoura. Yup, that''s right Bill really knows his stuff. You definitely want him in your corner. At the end of this whole nightmare I ended up winning my case with Bill.

Bonnie is Semi retired and running a small home office. She prepares some Wills and basic documents but she is overall pretty ignorant about probate law. I hired Bonnie and many of the questions regarding my case were unanswered, she said she would get back to me later on the questions but she never did. I needed help on State planning but Bonnie turned out to be un dedicated to Law. She works from home and most days she has no help or staff making everything slower to process when she is charging over $450/hour.

Bonnie Braiker-Gordon was a god-send for my wife and I. My mother-in-law passed away almost immediately after my father-in-law, and there was no provision in the meantime for financial controls and home ownership, as my mother-in-law had severe Alzheimer's and my father-in-law failed to change his will to reflect things such as home ownership, etc. With Bonnie's amazing help, we were able to declare my mother-in-law a ward of my wife and ownership of the home and all property as well as the control of my mother-in-laws welfare was granted to my wife as well. Bonnie did a fast and efficient job of convincing the court (rightly) that her parents would have wanted their home to be in her control, and not go to the state as a way to pay for her medical treatments. I cannot recommend Bonnie highly enough, as she and her team helped expedite a very difficult (and emotional) situation for us and did it with care and concern.
