I enjoyed working with Erik Bakke, he was very informative, and made me feel confident in my situation. Bankruptcy is a hard and embarrassing time and Erik helped me and my family through it as if we were family. I was on the cusp of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13, although it took more time and more effort Erik fought for me and he won the battle. I appreciate his professionalism and compassion, and will go to him again if I am ever in need of a Lawyer.

Erik knows his stuff and can be as tough as he needs to be. However, he is very sensitive to his clients' needs, both legal and personal, and works with them to achieve a satisfactory outcome. He knows his stuff, cares about his clients, and continues to serve even after "the case is closed." I would always trust Erik to help me!

I couldn't of asked for a more patient lawyer. Mr. Bakke was so helpful in every aspect of my case. If I had a question about anything he was right there to answer and I could ask him anything and he didnt make me feel dumb at all. He always took my worries and made me feel like I would get through it all, and he made sure everything worked out just fine.

Mr. Russel represented me as tenant in a residential lease dispute. I rented an apartment in Kirkland, WA and had to vacate early. The landlord was filing a claim for remaining months rent due, and was unwilling to allow me to sublet to others. Mr. Russel did an excellent job from the very start explaining my various legal options and potential outcomes. In the end, Mr. Russel worked with the landlords attorney to settle before a claim was filed. I was very pleased with the settlement, and probably saved a lot of money in the process. I found him to be very knowledgeable in this area, honest, and an excellent negotiator. He communicates clearly and concisely, and his style is cordial and confident. His billing rate and time tracking were also reasonable. I strongly recommend him for anyone looking for representation in lease dispute.

Gary handled the estate of my mother. He was very timely, thorough and pleasant to work with. When we were trying to sell my mothers house he settled an issue with the water rights of an old community well. Later when I sold my half of some property to my sister we hired Gary again. These firm embarrassed my mother and ruined her case. Her attorney's inability to do his duties resulted in her having to withdraw her case. This law firm is not something I would suggest. They are only trying to take your money and are quite reckless. The Washington State Bar Association should be notified about them.

After six years and tens of thousands of dollars spent, we finally changed lawyers, then our debtor declared bankruptcy. Referred to Mr. Hurley and couldn't be happier. He is fair, honest, realistic and kept us in the loop for the whole ordeal. A very reasonable and moral attorney, no dirty tricks or pumped up bills---hard to find. I wish he lived on our side of the mountains.

When I originally called looking for probate services I was told an estimate of $2500-3000 to handle the simple estate of my father in law. I was told it would be completed in approximately six months. After $4300 and over a year we are finally done. It was apparent that we were the small cog and were told repeatedly Tim was in court for another client. When I would call to check status after nothing happening we would get a call with an update and notice that we got billed for it. Maybe if he did the work when he said he would we wouldn’t need to keep calling and therefore not necessitate a call. I just want someone to do what they say they will when they say it. If you don’t mind having to prod the attorney and staff to get stuff done….then this is the firm for you.

Takes too long to settle an estate. The family may loose everything waiting years for a settlement. While my sister gets her money because it's hers from the same accident my dad died from I'm still waiting. Yet my Dad passed away October 29th of 2023 I'm still waiting for the settlement on my Dad's estate. It's unsettling how long it takes. I live in SSI and this money could really make a difference in my life but I must wait indefinitely until they decide to pay out. Meanwhile they have they're money "attorney" gets paid while you wait. Everyone gets their money but you must wait years for an insurance payment even though they have the money so thanks for nothing.
