After a major fall on black ice, I felt I needed a lawyer. Not knowing who to call I drew a name out a hat which the names of three legal firms. I drew Jason Stone's name out of a hat and met with Sean Joanis and Eva.
As it turns out I was the lucky one! I picked out the best legal firm. From the minute I called them I felt they cared. Eva was especially helpful.
The case took longer than I thought it would, but they always kept in touch with me and let me know what was going on. I never felt neglected or put aside. If I had questions I could call and if Eva didn't know the answer she would always call beck with the answer.
I would recommend Jason Stone to others.

I found Michelle online (my parents did) a day after I got a clerk hearing letter that was accusing me with three charges, and I was very overwhelmed with the situation because I had a lot to lose starting with my dream job, but still she was very professional, caring, and efficient. She explained everything to me and she did everything for me since day one without even getting paid first. She helped move my clerk hearing date closer which it was what I wanted because I needed to get this out of my head, and she also was able to get the police report of the incident to understand more what it was said, and she did that without even seeing me first, I REALLY appreciate all her work because not every lawyer will be there for you because I had another lawyer, and I could see the difference clearly. I was worried, and she was very patient and quick to respond any questions I had, even after the case was done, I was still emailing her and she was still there. She said she would fight my case even if it went to trial, and and I felt the need to have her in my case, and I was so glad she was able to represent me. I would definitely hire her any time I need a defense lawyer, she is exceptional! Thank you for your hard work in such a last minute hearing because I contacted her on Wednesday I believe, and Tuesday was the hearing which it was not even a week later. I am so thankful to you because I felt confident with you representing me no matter the outcome. Gladly it was a great outcome specially because it was a very hard case. I would recommend you to anyone in need of a defense attorney because you are not afraid to go the extra mile to represent your client in their best interest. I called Ms. Halström looking to speak to Frederic Halström but was directed to her. I was considering filing a medial malpractice case. She advised me to obtain all medical records (which perhaps she should have done, or verified) and, after talking for a while, made a date for a specific date and time for a telephone consultation. She never called. Time was of the essence. I called her, we set up another time, and she blew me off again! If this is the way she treats people I want nothing to do with her! Very unprofessional and rude! I would definitely not recommend this lawyer.

It seems the only way I get a call back from this firm is when I leave a bad review. It’s been almost 3 years and my case is still not settled. Every time I call, I get the run around with “they are in a meeting”. THREE YEARS. This is ridiculous. Don’t take on more cases if you can’t even settle the ones you have open!!

I mearly called for a consultation, I don't know whether this attorney was having a bad day or something else is going on or perhaps he was preoccupied, but the level of attention to detail on a potential case Even if he was listening at all, yes I understand you couldn't even take the case yet you have a tactfully poor representation of your law firm. Once again so we can be clear Yes I understand yes !!!!! I understand your not going to be able to take the case nor do you have to provide reason but asking a general question of what my options are , should have been handled more appropriately . you offer free consultation. I respect the type of attorney that you can hear in their voice no matter what the answer is They were delighted to handle your situation as best as they possibly could have. I call it having a good bedside manner. Yet I was brutally disconnected cut off and left hanging and I guess that's how you tell the difference between a solid lawyer that gives a crap about his clients potential clients and ones that are just ambulance chasers wanting to make a quick buck. There are millions of lawyers on this site And you should be truly grateful that people decided to hire you to take on their cases . Because if it wasn't for them you wouldn't even have a practice . I'm not angry. I've served my country for 8 years in the United States Navy and the college graduate with the background and engineering . An I studied quite a bit of law I felt like it was being put down or something . Although I laugh it off because I have thick skin , give you no excuse to represent yourself in the form and fashion that you represented yourself to me . I'm just offering constructive criticism to you sir. With all due respect work on your bedside manner because it's pretty crappy .I rest my case with the situation.

The lawyers at this office actually care. They listened to me. I say "they" because I actually had a couple lawyers at the office working on my case, including attorney Sullivan himself. Their team approach is great, and I know they all listened to me because in court the litigation team mentioned every single thing I told them I was concerned about, and in a very precise and professional way. After a car accident that resulted in negative points on my records and many problems, I found myself in Brazil sorting out personal matters when I received a summons letter for a hearing.
It was then that I looked for Dr. Chris and his team, who promptly helped me, even from a distance. They got an extension of time and rescheduled the hearing. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. I had a slip and fall about 5 years ago… and just now got compensated, didn’t even get that much. In the time it took my injury suit closed out and settled, we went through an entire pandemic, I lost my father and my husband, I had a child, had a stroke, recovered from a stroke fully, was diagnosed with a heart condition and was no longer a minor. I still can’t believe how long it took. When I first called to start speaking with an attorney they said 12-18 months for payment and closure of the case. 5 YEARS later. Here we are. Wow. If you want a shark for an attorney who actually cares about you and your case, I don’t recommend Simon and Simon. Especially cause they took almost 2/3rds of my settlement money after I’ve been suffering for 5 years.
Today, I spoke to a gentleman from Simon and Simon after they had reviewed my review. We were able to have a conversation and spoke about the issues I had put above. He did tell me that he would speak to a few people about a communication issue and try to have that resolved in hopes this would help people in the future using Simon and Simon. As I appreciate the call and conversation about the issues I spoke of, I do not feel as if this review is wrong. I have chosen to keep this review up because even though I had a discussion with a representative, my issues still happened. And I do believe that other people should be made aware and have the opportunity to see how others were treated. I appreciate your time today, however I will not be removing this review. Thank you.

Before hiring Sugarman, we did not read any of the stellar reviews offered by other satisfied clients. Nor did we 'shop around'. Maryanne Leblanc was a personal reference from another lawyer. Her service on our behalf was beyond reproach, expectation or, even, imagination. We were treated more than fairly (as if we had been generational family friends).
