Our firm consulted providence Law and had a very bad experience. Lets start with basics. The law firm required basic information, what is your firms name, what is the owners name, what is the address etc. and why are you requiring our services. We provided. 2nd step, make payment. Done. 3rd step is for Providence Law to execute. Well guess what, nope. Providence Law repeats step 1. and sends you an invoice for step 2. Well, here comes time for step 3... Nope not again, another one of their representative will call you and repeat step 1 and step 2 and send you an invoice for it. In step 1 and 2 you end up paying $6k in fees. Yes, they did file something, finally they did something, a filing of about 2k’s worth. And then they send you a termination letter when you don’t want to repeat step 1 and 2 any longer. When you try to call and call for an explanation they DON’T ANSWER but send you a legal letter stating representation is terminated. LOL, WOW... I am trying to warn anyone out there..
Well Guess what providence Law. I am not asking for any additional legal services, I’ve been calling you NOT for additional services, NO sir, all I’ve been calling, calling for our original documentation but you guys don’t respond. I will now publicly ask for our original documents filed. Which NEVER previously provided, NO, NO, NO.. Do not say you have originally provided the document. That will be a lie.. after many calls you finally after me proving you never originally gave us documentation, you sent original filings. But there has been lot more documents missing. If you called me Mr. Craig Morgan I could have explained, but you never returned our calls, not even to explain why termination. And I’ve been calling and calling to ask for original documentation but no response. Legal letter you sent saying copies of our documentation will be sent for additional cost. $8k later... WOW...people this is called a legal robbery. Be careful everyone. Don’t Call Providence Law. Do Not seek their consultation. You won’t get anything but a bill for What is You Name.

I have had horrible service from Ms. Newton. My case was very simple and I had to stay on top of them every step of the way. The most recent trouble began when I made a doctors appointment to get a referral for a specialist. After paying 84 dollars for the visit they called me 2 hours later to let me know that it fell through and I wouldn't be treated by them. I wasted my money to get a referral that wasn't needed because apparently it has not been important enough for them to call me back. Not to mention, if I want to know any information about my case, I have to call and call. When I finally get a call back it is from someone new. I have been very dissatisfied with the service. My case is now with a different firm.

Attorney Joseph A. Cheek has been my trusted legal advisor for many years. He was referred to me by a good friend after I experienced a "slip and fall" accident at a nightclub due to negligence, in 2007. The fall resulted in a severe life threatening injury from blood loss. After 2 blood transfusions, surgery, and 16 weeks of physical therapy, I needed help recovering extremely high medical costs. I was also seeking help with time off of work and missed college classes at UNC Charlotte which I was forced to halfway through my senior year. I hadn't even thought about future longterm damage to my leg and ability to walk that would remain impossible to predict until Attorney Cheek took my case. He took my unfortunate situation seriously and promised to be dedicated to gaining the best possible outcome for resolving the debt and physical harm caused by careless behavior and code violations of the nightclub. Mr. Cheek was hands on, aggressive, showed strong initiative, and remained highly communicative and transparent with me throughout the entire process. These cases can be lengthy and drawn out depending on the nature of the Injury and most importantly, the work habits of your lawyer and where they decide your case will be placed on their priority scale versus their other active cases.
I paid nothing out of pocket due to the contingency of the case. On June 09, 2018; I was in a car accident on my way to work. To date: I am STILL waiting on a settlement, or information, or an Update as to the status of my claim.!?!? They have done absolutely nothing to keep me in the loop, and each phone call to make an inquiry was initiated by me. Each phone call, I was dismissed and disappointed, and felt as if my case wasn’t important. I called to inquire about the status, and was actually told by an office employee that they were working on a huge case, and that someone would return my call as soon as they were available. Needless to say, that Call was never received, nor returned. On several occasions, I was calling in at least twice a week with updated or new information regarding my case, but was made to feel as if I were a nuisance, and again, calls were never returned. However; I do have to agree, my job has NOT been the most cooperative at providing information to the attorneys, but that IS part of being a hired attorney, that is retrieving that information for the clients claim. I am truly disappointed in my choice in representation, because this was a very easy, open & shut case.

Our experience with Mr. Harding was informative, but it’s a conversation we could have had over the phone. When I initially called in and explained my husband’s accident I was told by the secretary she spoke to Mr. Harding and he said he would take the case. My husband is wheelchair bound since the accident and we live 3 flights up. So getting him out and in the car to drive to an office that was not wheelchair accessible nor the building just to be told the NC laws and why he can’t take the case was a waist of our time. Once he told us he wouldn’t take our case he rushed to get us out even picked up a phone call while we still had questions as if our time was up. He never lifted his head up to even acknowledge me or my question. We understand because you we were not a win and no money would be won because of the laws here in NC were nothing to you. It was waisted time to sit and fill out paperwork and have to relive the whole nightmare all over again to be told you couldn’t help us. The police report was not even accurate and his secretary pointed out several discrepancies but he never looked at it. This has been a true nightmare and I pray no one has to go through what we have.
