I was rear ended by a semi-truck on our way to vacation. The horror of watching this huge semi barreling up from behind us while stopped in traffic was terrifying to say the least. After calling several attorneys and leaving messages to call back Attorney Drakatos was the only one who returned my call in a timely manner. She set up an appointment right away and explained the process and what to expect. She kept me up to date as the process progressed. I was rear-ended at high speed which led to a life-changing personal injury and a totaled vehicle. The responsible party's insurance company was refusing to pay by medical bills or my property damage. Not only did Eleni take my case, she negotiated a very fair settlement. I was injured in an accident and didn't have any insurance information from the other person involved. I filed a police report and Dennis was able to obtain a video of the accident I was injured in, which I would not have had access to, that supported my claim. He kept me informed throughout the process and gave me the confidence that he was truly working for my best interest not just for his fee.
My case was at the same time that my father started having sever health problems and past away, Dennis and his staff were caring and I knew that the case was being taken care of and I could concentrate on the needs of my parents.
My husband and I realized that the law is not our strong suit and that hiring Dennis was a great decision.

Yes, he is of the "old time" where you truely cared about people or at least he did, he will go to all lenghts to prove a valid case. He is over talkative but guess that is a lawyer.
If you have a ture medical case, he is your lawyer, -- he doesn't just research, he goes and talks to Dr. from Duke, to what ever he needs to do. Again, it is the old attitude you do what is important, love what you do and sleep because you did everything you could do to help.

My family was in the process of buying a new home, and the builder, MI Homes, was not being honest about the finances that were required. My wife and I had Tier 1 credit, and we were putting 20 Percent down on the purchase. The MI Homes finance representative was awful!
She initially tried to give us a very high interest rate, and kept raising the rate each time I would call back to get more information on “why” the rate was rising.
I obtained Attorney Tom Somos, and he was phenomenal! Attorney Somos personally attended my financial meeting with MI Homes, and secured a rate that was appropriate, and fair. Attorney Somos then represented my family for the duration of our purchase, including monitoring our closing cost on the home.
In addition, I have recommended Attorney Somos to my colleagues over the years, and they have been very satisfied with his services.
From my experience, Attorney Somos’ rates are competitive, and he has a vast knowledge of the law.

Tom was a nice guy, very professional and always willing to answer questions. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the troubles I had with his office staff obtaining the correct documents in a timely fashion. I ended up having to do most of the legwork on my paperwork, but in the end he was flexible with my payout since he knew I had been furloughed due to the pandemic.

We were referred to Mr. Erney and his office by another attorney due to his experience and reputation in dealing with personal injury/ accident cases. I was not disappointed. He explained everything up front clearly (fees, expectations, timeline, etc) and went straight to work on building our case for the insurance company. It took time to get a complete file in large part due to the length of my recovery and cooperation from the OSU Burn Clinic (I also recommend - great people). Once negotiations started he relayed information and tempered expectations without delay. I was very pleased with the resolution of my case and care it shown by Robert, Mary, and Rachel along the way.
Did I mention that the insurance adjuster was complete jerk-wagon? He was...I was so happy that Mr. Erney dealt with that man and the insurance company on our behalf.

I was referred to him for my car accident. While he and his staff seemed kind I was mislead, He gave me a proposal that was to be sent to the person's attorney that would have covered me getting my car replaced. I didn't get 10% of what was in the proposal and he even asked for some of the money back! I would never recommend him to anyone who wants a fair case!

Rob guided me through the legal process after I was in a personal injury vehicle accident. He put my best interests first and was reasonable and rationale as we worked with the insurance companies and bodyshop. I placed everything in his hands and he took over. Even months after the settlement, he followed up to inquire on my well being and the status of possible long-term ramifications the accident might have as it related to my vehicle being leased. Divorce case. The case went right up to trial. He forgot a lot of stuff and had several repeated meetings to discuss the same things costing a lot of wasted money. His trial preparation was extremely poor specially his time in the court. It was all last minute in the morning and all on paper. He did not share the discovery and a lot of information with me. He kept on reducing expectations as the case went on. His lack of preparation worked against me and helped the other side. Even during the negotiations he left several things open ended leading to loosing outcomes. Focused on money and showed no empathy even after loosing the case. Always came late to meetings scheduled in his office and left on the stoke on the hour. Gave a lot of incorrect recommendations and then later denied giving them. I would never recommend this lawyer to anyone especially for divorce cases which involve a child.

I was in an automobile accident in April of this year. My car was rear ended with me and my two children in inside. My two children were not injured by very much shaken. I on the other hand injured my shoulder pretty badly. After a visit to the ER I contacted R.M.B the very next day the that the accidnt happened and got Sarina Mitchell as my representative. She was very efficent and quick in her responses. I was treated so well and professionally! I had never been in this type of situation before and didnt even know what the first steps were but she walked me through and explained every process. Not only did she get me a settlement within 6 months after my accident, following many doctors appointments and physical therapy, but she was also able to get me well over what i had thought id receive! If i ever encounter another incident like that (knock on wood that never happens again) i know exactly who to call and ask for!

I was the unfortunate victim of an auto accident back in April of 2023. And upon finding out that my foot was broken I started researching accident lawyers in order to handle my case. I came across Ross, Midian, & Breitmayer and honestly am 100% happy that I did. Sarina (paralegal/ my main point of contact) was extremely helpful and her level of communication was second to none. The only complaint I have during this is the fact that the insurance company took so long to process my claim (about 11months). But that does not reflect the level of service I received while being a client for R,M,&B. Despite providing substantial documentation to support our claims, our concerns have been consistently disregarded by State Farm Fire and Casualty, leading us to contemplate submitting complaints against the attorney representing State Farm Fire and Casualty to The Ohio Board of Professional Conduct and The Office of Disciplinary Counsel. State Farm's actions have demonstrated a pattern of bad faith practices, including a failure to conduct a thorough investigation into our corporation and the unauthorized disclosure of confidential policy information to a third party without proper authorization. These actions have not only hindered the progress of our insurance claim but also infringed upon our rights as a small African American-owned business.
Specifically, we would like to highlight the following grievances:
1. **Failure to Conduct a Proper Investigation**: We contend that State Farm neglected to conduct a comprehensive investigation into our insurance claim, focusing erroneously on individual personnel rather than engaging with all relevant stakeholders as required by Ohio regulations.
2. **Lack of Personal Contact**: Despite my pivotal role within the corporation and clear documentation listing my responsibilities, State Farm failed to make any direct contact with me during their investigation, breaching standard investigative protocols.
3. **Allegations of Discrimination**: Our status as an African American-owned business raises concerns of potential discrimination in State Farm's handling of our claim, with actions suggesting bias in their decision-making processes. Additionally State Farm Fire and Casualty company disclosed policy information to an unauthorized party without any consent from any officer, partner or shareholder of our corporation. (Attached evidence) Please view the attached sworn under oath statements attached specifically answer number 7
"7. Please admit or deny that you, Deborah McSurley, were given notice that on or about
August 16, 2022, Claim Number 35-29N7-27R had been denied.
ANSWER: Admit. I contacted State Farm’s corporate office and they advised me I was
not a named insured and that the claim had been denied."

I wish to express my gratitude for the valuable services provided by your esteemed organization, which enables consumers to address professional misconduct. I am writing to share my experience regarding State Farm Fire and Casualty's attorney, Ms. Lori Thomson.
I have personally experienced violations of my rights, including racial discrimination and defamation of character, at the hands of State Farm Fire and Casualty. Additionally, the rights of our protected class organization, The HCV Distribution Corporation, have been consistently disregarded by Ms. Thomson. The attached document provides evidence of State Farm Fire and casualty's breach of our company's private policy information by sharing it with an unauthorized third party. Despite clear violations of my rights and those of our company, Ms. Thomson has failed to respond adequately to our requests for resolution. She has also instructed us not to contact State Farm Fire and Casualty regarding these violations, yet she continues to disregard our attempts to seek a resolution.
In February 2024, we sent a certified letter to State Farm Fire and Casualty seeking a settlement for these violations. Although it was received and signed for, it was ultimately disregarded. The response from Ms. Thomson included personal threats of criminal charges for our attempts to address these violations. I am reporting Ms. Thomson to the professional board of conduct due to suspected racial discriminatory actions, which parallel the treatment we have received from State Farm Fire and Casualty.
Despite providing sworn evidence of the violations and rights infringements, Ms. Thomson has ignored our requests and resorted to threatening me personally with criminal charges, despite her client's violation of my personal rights and those of our corporation, The HCV Distribution Corporation Inc. We are urgently seeking your involvement to address these violations.
I would like to emphasize that I am a registered minister in the state of Ohio and a sworn public servant notary in Lucas County with a clear background and record. It is both unprofessional and a violation of my rights for Ms. Thomson to threaten filing a police report against me for seeking answers and a resolution.
We have filed complaints with various authorities, including The Ohio Department of Insurance, The Ohio Civil Rights Commission, The Ohio Attorney General's Office, The Ohio Supreme Court, The Ohio Office of Disciplinary Counsel, the Better Business Bureau, The Office of the Honorable Governor Mike DeWine, The Consumer Protection Bureau, The Federal Trade Commission, and the Office of Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown.
