I called Patrick McPherson after a vehicle theft incident. I was immediate answered by Patrick and not a secretary or someone that had to put me on hold. I told him the situation and gave him the details, he never once made me feel stupid and explained in an easily understandable what to do. He assisted me in reaching out to the police officers and I ended up getting my vehicle back the same day. He also gave me advice on what to do with my insurance and how to handle the situation. Patrick made the process as simple and possible, helped greatly, and made a very stressful day a lot better. I would recommend this lawyer/law firm to anyone living in Oahu, Easily 5 stars.

Enormous thanks to Vickie Sakamaki and the Okura team for handling my mother's estate. They were always on top of everything, super helpful answering questions, and frankly they saved us a lot of money from what I've found.
While not a specifically a complex estate, we had the problem of her passing during lockdown and all the beneficiaries being on the mainland. Vickie was so comforting and calm, helped us understand how to handle all the matters including mainland investments. She was especially fantastic handling hangups with a very obstinate bank.

I would highly recommend Mr. Pagliarini as being extremely trustworthy, knowledgeable, informative and efficient. I have recommended him to all of my friends and family for over 20 years and will continue to do so. He treats you like a person and not a number. A few years ago, I was rear ended in a motor vehicle accident which hurt my neck, shoulders and back. Unfortunately, my insurance company was the same as the driver that hit me. The company almost immediately sent in my records for an "independent" medical review and promptly denied any further medical treatment. I was in a lot of pain and was not able to fully function in my work duties and still needed medical treatment. I was so relieved that Mr. Pagliarini was able to assist me with my case. He listened to the details of the accident and was extremely helpful, patient, compassionate and informative. Mr. Pagliarini expertly and efficiently handled my case with my insurance company and kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. Through his knowledge and information, I was able to continue to receive medical treatment and was able to have the resulting medical costs covered.

I contacted Mr. Parsons about a medical malpractice matter and doing so was invaluable. Mr. Parsons provided expedient (we were under a severe time constraint) consultation service which analyzed and identified the issues involved in the claim. I will keep it short and sweet. Ofir impressed me from the get-go and continued to up until the end and it wasn't like he was the first person I called; I initially reached out to maybe ten local attorneys on this matter while doing market research. He was easy to talk with, not slimy, didn't have an attitude nor was he condescending (unlike many of his peers), no hidden fees, and always quick to respond / highly communicative which equally is a rarity among lawyers of any sort. No regrets and in fact, I am actually surprisingly satisfied for once with a legal service I paid for. I would highly recommend.

Mr. Lawson was retained in late 2014 on behalf of our daughter after she sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) as the result of an automobile accident while on vacation in Hawaii. We live in Oregon. This case involved three different insurance companies and several individuals. It was a complicated case because the injury (TBI) cannot be observed externally.
This lawsuit dragged on from 2014 to July 2020 because each insurance company had to be convinced to settle. Mr. Lawson kept us appraised every step of the way. At certain points in the years long process it was discouraging. But with Mr. Lawson’s patience and perseverance a successful final settlement was reached.
Mr. Lawson was methodical in his planning and approach to help us obtain the best outcome. He engaged critical subject matter experts that really helped uncover all the facts and magnify the negligence in our daughter’s case. Even with the covid-19 problem in 2020, he managed to move the case forward. He never gave up and the outcome of the case was better than expected.
One great thing about Mr. Lawson is he genuinely cares. Through the years he was instrumental in recommending areas of treatment that we should investigate for our daughter. Not living in Hawaii made the lawsuit more difficult but Mr. Lawson’s excellent communications via text messaging, e-mails and phone conversations helped us through the entire process.
We will always be grateful that Mr. Lawson was on our side. He is highly recommended!!

So I asked if I could talk with her, and she said she is too busy to talk with me. That is a red flag from the start. They never even reviewed our case but they said that they did. How can they review 1,300 pages of medical records in 2 days. Horrible. I am glad to go to another Attorney that makes time for their clients.
And I didn't even ask to talk with you about talking with 1,300 pages. It was only 4 pages tops of notes. So you knew the meret of the case. How would you know what I wanted to talk about or how many pages I had. You didn't even make time for me. You and your Paralegal said you don't have time for me even before I said how many pages I had or said anything else.
You said I'm not credible... I have the entire conversation between myself and your office staff recorded. It shows your sketchy.
And I didn't even demand nothing. I asked if I could please make an appointment to talk with an attorney. And they said your too busy. Then I asked if i could please schedule with the Paralegal and she said she is too busy and can't talk with me.
I just had some questions. But it shows your character. You lying and making up stories and you don't make time for your clients. I have everything recorded. So I have the proof.
But then again it shows you and your staffs character. It is what it is. There are better attorneys out there that truly care and take the time to help their clients.

Mr. Chur was hired by me to help with a workers comp. case. He dragged the case out, got a mediocre settlement and took 50% of the settlement. He nickel and dimed me by charging for things like phone calls, office supplies and office clerk work at attorney rates! This guy is a rip off and has no shame! On a positive note, the toilets were clean.

Daniel Chur represented me in a work.comp. claim with John Insurance representing my employer for a back injury which caused me a discectomy operation. And Mr. Chur used his expertise to settle my claim as fast and without my consent as possible, when I questioned him as to a settlement without my approval he said he already gave the insurance company "his" word and if I didn't go along with it he would "release" me as a client. He settled within the year, took more than a third and cared the less that I was still in daily pain.

My husband and I hired Mr. Wilder and were provided much hope for the future. The entire process was painful, from lack of contact from Mr. Wilder at the beginning, as his staff led us to believe that he was our attorney, then come to find out he's not even an attorney, then abruptly left, and we were handed off to another assistant. They lost our signed paperwork multiple times, needing it to be resubmitted, and we didn't have a printer at the time, so we had to drive all the way to a UPS store, or on two instances, the library. Mr Wilder then proceeded to not be able to obtain certain files from various doctors in a timely manner, so we had to do it for him, then he charged us for obtaining the files AND the mailing of the files. It wasn't all that much money, but when you're a struggling couple, every dollar counts. He didn't prep for the deposition at all, and was an awful experience. The whole process was unpleasant, and whenever we'd stand up for ourselves, he'd scoff at us, then talk in a very condescending tone. All in all, we wouldn't recommend him, especially not in Hawaii. The amount of stress, lack of insight, and respect speaks volumes for his character. That is all I feel comfortable saying

This attorney advised us to get as much treatment as humanly possible, then negotiated the bills down before court, thus leading us into court with a much much much smaller claim, then dropped out immediately before the court date, putting a lien on our recovery, thus we walk with nothing, and he brings home almost $100,000. Don't believe the you pay nothing unless he wins. Absolutely not true. On top of it all, he talked down to us constantly, made my spouse, and immediate family very uncomfortable. Would never hire again.
