I was referred to Shin Law Group and Jonathan through a family member that was actually sued by his group due to a car accident (they got 25k for a SCRATCH against my family member) and boy am I happy to say, that things were as smooth as they come using their firm. From personal experience handling a car accident ESPECIALLY against a driver who has no insurance or minimum insurance, I can't recommend getting a lawyer enough. And what a team Shin Law Group has. I was rear ended back in October 23 and immediately searched for an attorney from a car enthusiast group and was recommended Jonathan from several people. My name is David W. Klasing, I’m an attorney and a CPA and consider myself a scary judge of talent. Roy Comer is a very talented attorney and even more importantly he is ethical, honest, trustworthy and has adhered to the strictest confidentiality in an issue that I referred my own mother to him over. My mother was injured by her best friend when she lost control of her car while in the act of taking my mother to the emergency ward with symptoms of an impending heart attack. My mother was seriously injured and this placed her deeper into an existing financial crisis. She did not want to sue her best friend but her circumstances left her no choice. The family was placing tremendous pressure on her to do just that. She approached me and requested that I find her an attorney that would limit the law suit solely to the amount her best friend’s insurance would pay and would not go after all of her best friend’s assets. After some extensive research I referred her to Roy Comer. Roy did just that and as a result my mother has received the maximum award under her friends insurance and her best friend, who was done driving anyway, was not hurt in the process. I retained Mr Hausmann based on an excellent referral in September of 2017. I certainly wasn’t disappointed, and I’m not easy to please, being a former legal assistant in Minnesota some years ago. I was in an automobile accident and Mr Hausmann knew exactly what to do; when to do it and ultimately negotiated a settlement that was fair. His staff also was extremely helpful when he wasn’t available. Calls were returned timely and questions answered sufficiently. In 2009 I was in a serious car accident where an uninsured drunk driver doing 85mph hit the car I was driving from behind as I was at a stand still on the 5 fwy. It was a nasty wreak. After getting out of the hospital I was lucky enough to have someone refer Mr. Dawson to me. He met with me immediately and treated me like my case was his number 1 priority. He was very straight with me about what to expect with the process. The insurance on the car I was driving was less than great, only had minimal coverage and like I stated the other driver was uninsured so it was going to be a fight. After all the medical treatment I received over the months to come it totalled out to around $38,000 and the policy only covered $30,000. That doesn't even count for the cost of the car and what Jeff Dawson's legal fee's would be. Jeff and his entire staff stayed in contact with me throughout the claim. It I had a question it either got answered right away or at most within 24 hours. They were all on top of their A game! When the case got settled I was worried about getting everything payed because it was way over the policy limits but Jeff said he would work with the doctors and insurance to get it handled. In the end, all my medical and the car got paid. I even got a call to swing by his office to pick up a check. I still have no clue how he did it but he had a check for $11,000 for me. He had explained in the beginning that if I would have set up my insurance differently, he would have been able to get me a lot more. Jeff is one of the brightess persons that I have met. He genuinely cares about your case and how your handling the situation you've been thrust into. He surrounds himself with the smartest people, great doctor referrals and made a horrible situation a lot less stressful. I have absolutely the utmost admiration for Jeff and the staff he employs. I have recommended him to family and friends. I can't give this guy enough credit, simply an amazing attorney and genuine person. Thanks Jeff Dawson!!!
