I am a bit late in leaving this review, but even after a year has passed, I still reflect on how well P. Heath Brockwell handled my car accident case. He turned a difficult situation into something almost pleasant, and I am immensely grateful for his expertise and support.
From the beginning, Mr. Brockwell was exceptional. He helped me find a good doctor, ensuring that I received the best care possible. He took charge of all the legal matters with the insurance companies, allowing me to focus entirely on my recovery. What I appreciated most was his ability to explain everything in simple terms, making it easy for me to understand without needing to know all the legal jargon.
Throughout my recovery period, Mr. Brockwell was considerate and respectful of my time, only contacting me when absolutely necessary. Despite this, I knew he was diligently working behind the scenes to resolve my case. His professionalism and dedication made a challenging time much more manageable.

In 2009, I went through a divorce after being married for 14 years to my high school sweetheart. I was devastated to find out that my husband was having an affair and that his mistress was moving from Boston to Jacksonville in less than 2 weeks. A friend of mine advised that I call her attorney, Garrett Barket, and I am so glad that I did!
From the moment I walked into the office, Garrett and his paralegal, Jan, did whatever they could to put me at ease. I think of them as the "dynamic duo." They knew that I was scared, devastated and had no idea what was going to happen to me or my kids. Garrett treated me with respect and was beyond caring. Jan was always available for questions and Garrett was always prompt to reply when I needed to be in touch with him. He knew the law and was honest about what could happen and did not give me any false expectations.
I met with several other "top" attorneys in town who were either not professional or treated me as if I was just a number. One of them even hinted that he would like to go on a date! When I met Garrett, I was impressed with his knowledge of the law and how respectful he was. He made me feel confident that he would defend my rights to the best of his abilities. My case turned out just like he had predicted and I couldn't be happier with the results. I was able to get alimony until my kids are 18 yrs of age and the child support I needed to provide them the same kind of lifestyle we were accustomed to. A divorce is devastating to a family, but when you have a reputable attorney on your side, it makes the process a little less daunting.
Garrett is definitely a top notch attorney and one of the most honest guys I know. I would recommend him to anyone I know that is looking for a wonderful attorney!

DO NOT recommend for Family Law, attorney admittedly stated that's not where their money comes from. As of today, I was told I’d get personal documents within 10 days or at their discretion. Mr. McGrath has threatened to sue me if the AVVO isn’t removed relating to his partner Brad Gibson. He won’t scare me like my ex husband.
Brad took a $10,000 retainer from me for Family Law. Very poor communication, constant cancellations of meetings and failing to update on dates promised.
Not one thing he said would happen, even a simple adjustment of the original answer, happened after months. He used a bankruptcy attorney who isn’t licensed in Florida to “assist” with my very personal case.
Once I fired him he offered a “courtesy” refund of what was left of my $10k retainer.
If you want an attorney who wants to work for you only if he wins a personal accident injury case so he can be paid on the back end, that’s on you.
I do not recommend this law firm whatsoever.

I’m so great full with Mr. Naughton. He didn’t give up on my case. He went far and beyond to follow trough. Every time I felt like this was a lost cost, due to it being a case where the other party lived in Another country. He was always reassuring. To him this case was a piece of cake. At my lowest point. Michael is an amazing human being. He truly cares for his client and understands the sense of urgency that it takes when dealing with some of life's difficult issues. I hired him for both a divorce and as an elder care attorney. Mr Jubran cost myself and my family an exuberant amount of money with little to no resolution to my child custody case. Him and opposing council kept getting the case continued for over a year, but they didn’t care, because they were getting paid. Mr Jubran made many legal mistakes and refused to admit them in court. He filed a motion that had incorrect information on it, and never sent it to me, before filing it. This made me look like a liar in court. All he had to do was stand up and admit that was his mistake. He refused to do so. Mr Jubran assured me that it did not hurt my case, yet every time we were in court, opposing council would use it against me! He also assured me that I would not have to keep paying him while my case was being appealed, because all other motions would be put on hold. That was a lie and he continued to send me a bill every month. Mr Jubran would act like he cared but he doesn’t care about you or your kids, he only cares about the money!

Myself and fiancé hired him because his children’s biological mother is a drug addict and alcoholic who abuses her two young girls. Should be open and shut right? No it’s not. We made the huge mistake of paying Kelly Hampton 3500 deposit to do absolutely nothing. He has faked court dates, he has lead us on over 2 years now while these poor girls suffer and are starved/beaten when they’re at their bio moms. We can’t afford another attourney right now so this has literally ruined our life and theirs. Run away from this guy he is a complete fake

I first heard about him 10 years ago through another prominent Attorney here in town. At the time, I wanted legal representation from someone that I could relate to and they had to be a FIGHTER. I hired him for my husband. My husband had to tell him what to ask for. He barely return calls it seems like having a public defender. He only calls you a day or two before court you go in blind sided. I don't see the way he do people he can tolerate to look at his self in the mirror and it doesn't bother him. I don't recommend him he only cares about his freedom.

Mrs. Cozart is very friendly and easy to talk to. She told me she was a previous
Assistant Attorney General. One would think with that credential she would be a better than fair attorney. She wasn't. Don't waste your time with her. Mrs. Cozart takes all of his cases and she is over worked and under capable. I don't know of any good attorney but I do know I would never recommend Barnes and Cohen and I tell everybody I come in contact with that is is looking for an attorney, this same story.

The experience with Ms. Cozart has been extremely painful.
My son was killed in an automobile accident and she was handling
The case between the insurance company of the Soldier who was
Driving the vehicle. After almost two years the case still isn't settled.
Ms. Cozart informed me that the case was completed and was pending
Final review which would take two weeks. After a month had passed
She then informed me that it would take two months. After 2 1/2 months
Her assistant informed me that they had no idea that they had no
Idea when it would be completed.
I had informed Ms. Cozart that I wanted to get everything settled
prior to my deployment to Afghanistan. This had no impact on her
as she displayed a total and complete lack of concern. Losing my son,
A Soldier who died while serving his country in the U.S. Army was truly
painful. Dealing with Ms. Cozart has only added to that pain.
