Jina was diligent, and able to clearly describe our legal options. Her commitment to what the law said, and didn't say, allowed us to resolve our case quickly and efficiently. She was communicative and flexible. I was injured in a car accident, and I hired a lawyer without any research or knowledge of what to even look for. The experience was terrible, to say the least. I got false information, lost money I didn’t have and wasted a lot of time with a lot of added stress because I couldn’t get any answers or help. I was lucky enough to know someone else who was already going through the legal process with Attorney David Eder. My conversation with them is what also made me realize I was completely with the wrong firm. I was grateful my case hadn’t already closed and reached out to David. He spent time with me on the phone and in person walking me through everything and answering questions so simply, questions I had been asking the old attorney for the last 1.5yrs! So I switched over to David Eder. David and his partners (Ben Eder, Joel Sturm and Andrew Gust) took over my case and got everything in order. They were able to get the case out of a frozen position into double limits and my health insurance bills were waived. The difference between the first firm and these guys was night and day. I wish I had found them sooner, but I am so blessed to have found them before it was too late! Thank you!

I was involved in a car crash. I was referred to David Eder and his team. David and his partners were able to review my records and position my case with the negligent driver’s insurance carrier as well as my own. They were even able to get my PIP liens waived as part of the whole process. The lawyers stay in regular contact and their hard work gets results. Highly recommended Andrew T Gust and his great team.

In my first meeting, I met with all of the partners. While David Eder was the lead, his other partners (Andrew, Ben and Joel) all participated. Ashley and her staff were great in representing me. I was in a car accident where I was hit by a semi... twice. I set up an initial consultation with Ashley and immediately felt well taken care of. Ashley and her staff let me know how to navigate my first steps... and then they took over. After my chiropractor appointments and other treatments ended, I relayed everything to Rosenbaum Law Group, and they took over again. In a short time after that, Ashley reached a settlement with the other party's insurer. I was very satisfied with the settlement.

During one of my trips to Portland, I happened to be walking around the streets when I came across Kilmer Voorhees & Laurick. This is a highly regarded general practice law firm specializing in litigation and business transaction matters.
What initially drew my attention was the building itself. It was beautifully maintained, and the garden was meticulously groomed. It almost resembled a charming little White House. It turns out that this establishment is a law firm, and if you ever find yourself in need of legal assistance, it might be worth considering their services.

I have been sent to him by the Oregon Bar a few times. When I contact him he agrees my case is horrific and awful and people should not be treated this way and my case is strong, etc. However, he refuses to accept the case saying he is too busy. When the truth is told my case will not bring him enough money (according to other lawyers). He only takes rich cases and leaves the rest of us to rot.

Paul Bovarnick started out as my lawyer and as the case went I made a friend. He was always honest with me and talk to me often about the plan. Paul always called and questions about the case, more importantly he want to know how I was doing. Then he stayed honest to the case, he never tried to build or take the case anywhere that we could not support the facts. Today we are still friends because of his honesty and friendship. If I have questions about things he still always answers his phone and talks with me and gives me great advice. I recently worked with Lee Ann Donaldson at the Nichols Law Group and I would recommend her to anyone needing this type of legal representation. She will aggressively pursue your claim to its fullest, while also treating you with great care and compassion. I honestly hope you never need her services, but if you do, call her right away. My only regret is that I waited a couple of weeks after my vehicle crash before contacting a lawyer. In hindsight I should have called & hired her immediately after. When you are injured and dealing with doctor appointment after appointment, the last thing you want to be doing is talking to any insurance reps. Just hire a professional right away. Lee Ann is the consummate professional in her field.

This review is specifically about attorney Kristen West McCall at the firm. As with many people, I have a love-hate relationship with attorneys and a definitely diverse view of the attorneys I have dealt with over the years; far more negative comments than positive as a rule. So it gives me singular pleasure to provide a very positive and laudatory review for Kristen. She is very good at her job; tenacious, innovative and thorough. I would not like to be on the opposing side when she represents you. She is also very much your advocate. Now that may seem obvious, but many attorneys consider you nothing more than a source to bill. I can earnestly say that is NOT the case here. Before there is even a conversation about money, she listens to the facts of the case, provides guidance and will be upfront as to whether she thinks it should be pursued. She is flexible and reasonable; two words that do NOT automatically apply to many counselors. She is proactive, answers her phone (or calls you back in a timely fashion if she is otherwise engaged) and most importantly, adds a large measure of common sense to her legal expertise. If you have occasion for a personal injury attorney, make sure Kristen McCall is on your short list. Incidentally, you will note on this site that my engagement with her was for a consultation. She was not hired (though she certainly would have been) because she explained after a thorough examination, that the case, which would be on contingency, would not lead to a positive outcome. She mentioned I could hire her to pursue it on an hourly fee basis, but discouraged me from doing so. An attorney who gave me real, honest advice that had nothing to do with "making a sale"....that's the attorney I want working for me

My case in total was 11 months of medical provider treatment followed by a ridiculously low offer from the insurance company given I have sustained permanent injury. I contacted Adam, and entered a 24 month legal process - driven exclusively by my insurance company because an uninsured driver hit me.
I believe it to be worth it given settlement offer to me was 5 X over original offer. By my calculations, my settlement paid me about $100 per hour of my time and paid Adam about $700 per hour of his. Adam's services are totally worth it as I was not further taken advantage of by my insurance provider or the uninsured driver.
That said, the process of negotiation with my insurance company has been absolute crap, lengthy, dealing with a patronizing insurance company (and it's local legal team, which took 12 months to appoint), and generating a sense of powerlessness for me as my time was clearly ranked less valuable than the legal system. Adam could not have done better.

I was given Adam's name after a really awful car crash, and having never been in the situation wasn't really sure what to do. Adam was patient in explaining each step of the process, consulting me to make sure I was comfortable with each decision and backing me up when the insurance company was being elusive (shocker). NOT RECOMMENDING CLARK LAW & ASSOCIATES! Jenny Clark was the partner in charge overseeing my lawyer, Caleb Dorrance.
I initially was impressed, but come the time of Arbitration, I realized they didn't know my case well, confused it with others and then Caleb forgot to file witness paperwork so was not able to ask them questions, which lost that part of the case. He told me at the time, I had the right to file Bar complaint against him, it was a pretty big mistake.
The owner of the firm was even worse professionally and made mistakes. JENNY JENNIFER CLARK... wow, so beyond unprofessional. Twice I got emails for other clients from her, one included the attached settlement! Other clients had similar names but not THAT close.
After my lawyer left her firm a days after my case settled, and I still needed help getting the landlord to adhere to agreement, and sent email as directed before he left.... JENNY CLARK replied that case closed and they are no longer were my lawyer and provided Oregon Bar website link to find another. It was pretty awful, left me hanging.
I replied how she was the senior partner on my case, sat in on my first appointment and said would be there. I was just needing the firm that represented me to make sure the other side does what they legally agreed. I ended that email with "Are you saying you won't do that?"... she replied alright...Can't attach here so SEE GOOGLE REVIEW ATTACHMENT of EMAIL FROM JENNY CLARK LOSING HER MIND. I get life was hard for her, but it was for me as well. That was why I hired them.
THEY GOT $20K BUT WOULDN'T HELP ENFORCE THE AGREEMENT THEY NEGOTIATED.
Do yourself a favor, keep searching for another firm. This one talks a good game but doesn't play well with others, especially the partner, JENNY CLARK.

He is always available to answer questions and do a through job reviewing my case. My case is very unique. I would highly recommend rick Davis for civil rights cases involving police. Very happy to have used Gregory Gudger for my recent divorce. These things are tough for everyone, and Greg stayed focused and was extremely helpful in helping me craft a fair, equitable, and compassionate settlement...for both parties. I know that my ex-spouse would also agree with this assessment. Even though it was a non-contested proceeding, there were still a lot of moving parts that had to be dealt with, and I wanted someone who would help me make the outcome fair for us both. My ex and I are still great friends, our new lives as seperate people are working out great, and I owe Gregory's sage advice a great deal of the credit for making this happen. Side note: My will also had to be re-written after the divorce, which I was able to sail through with Gregory's help. Done and done. I highly recommend Mr Gudger, if you're looking for a committed, fair, knowledgeable attorney who will listen generously and advise honestly!

Our family has relied on Mr. Gudger for most of our legal needs, from fighting housing related issues to creditor lawsuits. Mr. Gudger took on an old creditor that tried to take everything we own. He found a loophole had the lawsuit dismissed, saving us $100,000. The investment we made with Mr. Gudger was worth it. And, over the years, he has advised us with positive results. No lawyers are perfect, though some might think they are. Sometimes you have to pay to find out there's nothing you can really do. But, even that advise is valuable. I refer Mr. Gudger whenever I can and have recently sent two friends to consult with him. He's accessible, down to earth and is a fighter. I'll go into court with Mr. Gudger any day.

In the eleven month period of Mr. Gudger as my attorney I'm in the same place as I was at the beginning of my child custody case. Mr. Gudger was at first, for a couple of months in seemingly helpful, yet there were things that just didn't seem accurate that he was telling me around my case. He didn't seem to know my case, or my name even, until I was beginning to show frustration from me leaving voice mails when he was not in and it would take days to finally reach him. He did not provide me with monthly invoices for services rendered, instead it was a telephone call requesting more funds but to no explanation of what for. I personally felt no reassurance for the last six months of mr. Gudger as my attorney. He failed to provide, a note of leaving my case of any kind yet he insisted he was no longer my attorney. I came to him in hopes of some justice to my case . I am still scheduled in court in January with him as my attorney but to my surprise he let me go with not so much as a phone call, email or written statement. I also paid a deposit for a court session to mr. Gudger for a court appearance that never happened which he just kept, and now he doesn't respond to my phone calls or emails.

Ms Mascal was the best attorney I’ve ever seen on the case for my former abusive pastor. The case was regarding girls he molested and members he abused financially, verbal etc. I just can’t say enough about her!! She was sharp, strong, professional… a real bull dog in court. The absolute most fraudulent lawyers in the civil rights focus. They perpetuate that they care but the pothead owner Greg Kafoury is very cold calloused and uncaring. My great grand uncle housed civil rights activists in his home as a prominent physician and best friend to MLK through his college years.These white people just care about profits they make off the racial issues we face here. When I needed them most they tuned me away those I had a previous case they worked with me on successfully. Stay far away!!!!

I used Kevin for employment and harrassment issues and was extremely satisfied with how knowledgeable and personal the entire office was.
I actually left the country a few times during my case and Kevin was GREAT at tracking me down over a different method when I would be without phone or email on certain continents.
I was pleased with accuracy and fairness of billing and Communication was more than sufficient.
It's not a very aggressive firm but in no way passive or colluding and will absolutely put a firm stand to protecting your legal and civil protections afforded under US law.

I read the two negative "reviews", and I am simply laughing. They describe someone else, not this excellent attorney who first represented me in a case in 2007 (won the case, spent a year of his time on it), and is currently representing me on another case (another auto collision, the other driver again with a cell phone in his ear). Curt has become more than simply an attorney, and closer to a trusted friend with expertise in the world of litigation. He has guided me away from mistakes; he has tolerated my incessant verbosity (wasting HIS time); he has buffered my tendency to occasionally act in an impulsive manner; he has ALWAYS looked after my best interest. Avoid this attorney at all costs! I made the mistake of seeking out a consult with Mr. Kinsley after an accident and was extremely disappointed with it. His attitude was very superior and it seemed like perhaps he was having a bad day because he was highly temperamental. Doug was skilled in the legal formalities, if you will. His timid court presence was Frustrating and quite ineffective during trial. I had two suits he represented me in... after the 2nd trial he disappeared. Doesn't answer his phone, or return emails. He represented a friend of mine and ghosted him as well. Frustrating to say the least because his services are still required to get my settlement finalized. I hope he hasn't passed away from covid...

Ms. Soto neglected to inform me about the other attorney's motion which cost me thousands of dollars and a financial mess. She did not complete her work as requested and basically dumped my case.

I was recommended to him for a case and he never communicated with me. When COVID hit I had to reach out to him to ask him what was going on and he did not answer at all. He just stopped communicating completely. And he ended up making my case even worse than it should have been. Do not make the mistake I did.

I hired Man 2 years ago to help me with my auto injury accident. In the beginning, he was ok. After about 6 months, he basically fell off the earth. It was take months between contacts despite me trying to contact him via phone, email, or texting. He would never respond. A year after my accident, it was time to close the case and file the complaint for compensation. In Oregon, you have 2 years from the time of your accident to do this. He said there was plenty of time but he would get the paperwork together including all medical records and file this complaint. Fast forward 6 more months, after numerous tries by me to contact him, he stated we were on track. Now here we are almost exactly at the 2 year mark and guess what!? I have not heard from him in 4 months. Finally I was fed up with it and hired someone else. I found out that Man Vu NEVER FILED ANY PAPERWORK at all! He as literally done nothing on my case for 18 months! This was confirmed by my new lawyer! I have less than a week to get my new lawyer everything and for him to file the complaint for compensation. Man has literally done nothing for 18 months on my case and then lied to me about it. I am glad that I hired someone else in time otherwise I would not be getting anything for my injuries. This will no doubt have a great effect on what I will get now since my new lawyer has to frantically put my case together.
