I would trust this law firm to handle your land issue if you're being told it's needed for whatever project is being worked on. These eminent domain situations are more complicated than you think. And it's not just about getting the money you deserve. I'm not sure who the two 1 star reviews are, because Paul Henry does no other legal work but this. And his colleague is awesome too! You'll be in good hands.

I can tell you that if you have a problem with the government wanting to take any portion of your land in Missouri, that Paul and Bethany are the ones to call. Eminent domain issues have become ridiculous in today's world, where any property can be considered "condemned" just to justify taking it for whatever use is deemed "necessary". Theirs is not a big firm, but are the experts in this area. Call them if you're facing your land being taken because you need someone who knows the law and how to be sure you fairly compensated, not just in the monetary sense.

I can honestly say Attorney Bryan Sanger and his team at Mandel & Mandel was very helpful and professional in helping me with my case. Also when it came time to settle he wouldnt stop with other parties until he felt the numbers were right for me. Mr Sanger is very knowledgeable in his field. Mr Sanger always made time to answer my questions or meet with me wether by email phone call or in person. I can truely say that he had my best interests in mind. Unfortunately we found ourselves in the position of seeking legal guidance, but fortunately we found Padberg Appelbaum Knepper. I can’t even begin to understand the amount of time spent handling my case and all the work done behind the scenes. I’m very aware, however, of how highly motivated Kelly and Matt were since day one to get a positive outcome for my husband and I. Even through all of the road blocks, Kelly and Matt continued pushing for justice. I tend to be the type of person to always question if I’ve made the right decision, but I never once second guessed any decision guided by them. I had servers probation violations and was getting know where in live besides inside jails and prisons. The judge had enough of me a order a fugitive warrant. I ended calling serval lawyers that said to turn yourself in and I couldn’t help you with the case. I thought for sure I would end up back in prison and when I get out return into my old habits. Then I called Will he said he could help me and he 100 percent did. He saved my life I fixed going back to my old ways and he got the warrant taken care of. Where I didn’t have to see a day in jail nor start my probation over. I followed his advice and it changed my life for the better. Mr. Goldstein is one of the best lawyers I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. It was the worse situation I could have on my record and would result in termination of my employment. Over the past 20 years, our family has hired Mr. Shalowitz for numerous cases including personal injury, divorce, writing our wills, traffic tickets, and more. He always took our calls right away or returned our calls by the end of the business day. We have always been satisfied with the outcome of our cases. When other lawyers wanted to charge us out the Wazoo so they could line their pockets, Mr. Shalowitz tried to settle the case from the get-go knowing how these cases usually turn out. Only an experienced, ethical, and loyal attorney would do this. It seems that nowadays lawyers just want to continue the litigation so they can make more money. Fortunately, Mr. Shalowitz is not one of those Lawyers. Why can’t all lawyers be like him?

I searched long and hard. Did my research and can honestly say without any complaint that Ambry not only is an exceptional attorney, who knows multiple faucets of law, but will always take the time to make sure you know what you are facing. I contacted Douglas through Avvo because I was rather tight on money, and wasn't 100% sure if I needed an attorney. After our 15 min call Biggs offered to continue to help me as much as possible. Honesty and integrity aren't two words that you use too often with lawyers, but Doug Biggs has both qualities. He handled my legal matter with great professionalism and effectiveness. I sent him a check for his services, but he did not receive it as expected. So I dropped off a second check. A few weeks later he received the original check due to a mix up with the postal service. He could have easily deposited the check, but instead he called to inform me that he finally received the original check. He shredded the check per my request. Thank you Mr. Biggs. My assessment of the Lacey Law Firm is based on years of experience doing business with lawyers and law firms in my position as Managing Partner of CHARTOR Entertainment LLC (www.CHARTORentertainment.com ). My co-Managing Partner, Charles Floyd Johnson, is an attorney as well. 2017 I was introduced to Ron and Mark Lacey by Attorney Nikki Mitchell, Senior Partner in the Law Firm of Mitchell, Brown & Associates, LLC. I retained Nikki Mitchell to handle matters concerning my Aunt and Uncle’s estate. I was the Executor of my Aunt and Uncle’s estate, they lived in St. Louis, MO. Both my Aunt and Uncle had fallen ill and their only daughter (my cousin), with whom they had a difficult relationship, had taken legal action to seize their estate. Mitchell, Brown & Associates specializes in estate and probate law but I also needed to retain a law firm that specialized in civil litigation. The legal challenge from my Aunt and Uncle’s daughter took four years to resolve through Probate Court and civil litigation. My Aunt had Alzheimer’s and my Uncle served as her caretaker and caregiver until he fell ill. They treated my Aunt and Uncle with the utmost respect, kindness and consideration. For four years, from 2017 until 2021, I traveled constantly from Los Angeles, where I live, to St. Louis for court hearings, depositions, meetings with Ron and Mark Lacey and with Nikki Mitchell, and to spend time with my Aunt and Uncle. Ron and Mark Lacey maintained constant contact with me and visited my Aunt and Uncle to update them on the status of their case. My Uncle died June 2018 and my Aunt died March 2020, but before my Uncle passed away he spoke of his respect and admiration for Ron and Mark Lacey. They successfully prosecuted the civil case against my Aunt and Uncle’s daughter.
