I contacted Alex Borchert at Sand Law to discuss a legal matter. I found him to be very patient, he asked questions to clarify my situation, and he did not talk down to me. I am 73, and unfortunately, with each passing year, more people talk to me as if I was a 7 year old child. If you are a senior citizen, I recommend that you ask for Alex when you call Sand Law, he will treat you with respect.

Was a client of Rob Roe - "Champion Of The Injured" & "Super Lawyer" as displayed & advertised of over 25 years established & experienced.
Throughout the interim, unfortunately, to say in the VERY least, minimal could be done, as the case sat complacent, initially was to be wrapped up at the damage package of 2018.
Over time, following up & patiently awaiting for answers & explanations with full clarity in documentation, I could not be fully accommodated & assisted with this fully by email as a frontline healthcare worker in surgery in dire need & having a disability in need since Rob Roe referred to my emails & form of communication to be the single greatest barrier.
Nearing almost a year, we patiently awaited, following up, left wondering, since the same stories, now had 21 days left in July 2019 before we had to move out of our home, since initially the case was to be wrapped up of 2018.
We were informed between June/July 2019 that the
medical records were still waiting to be received
since the retainer & release of medical records signed in October 2018 with 30 days for medical records to be received, however nothing more could still be done, which was all very confusing to us, not really knowing what was happening.
With the outcome & case wrapped up between February/March 2022, I was left with an amount far below a years worth of wages, then initially assured recovering from the accident itself & overall, etc.
After representation, we finally were able to receive the case file of June/July 2022, that initially was needed numerous times asked for throughout the years.

My son Fahlym, hired Rob Roe for personal injury representation in 2018. A lot of concerning issues kept happening with Rob Roe until the end of the case in 2022. During representation, Rob Roe mailed an unsecured flash drive with my son’s entire file on it that had very sensitive information, as well some of our private family information. Rob Roe initially mailed the unsecured flash drive to the wrong address, then it was remailed to my son’s correct address but lost in mail transit, and never found to this day, only receiving an empty torn regular envelope. Being my son’s advocate, I addressed many valid concerns to Rob Roe about his representation that weren’t aligning. Rob Roe then cut me off, heavily burdening my injured son, who needed my help. I cannot express how devastating the entire negative experience was from Rob Roe’s representation of over 3 years.

Dealing with custody matters are tough enough to go through, time is of the essence and you need your hired team to represent swiftly and aggressively so that life can move forward and you can rest with your family again. You add trusting and spending your hard earned money only to end up picking the wrong lawyer to represent this sensitive matter is a total setback for the children first as well as the parents. Katelyn was very unprofessional, lazy and very inexperienced in the compassion department to say the least. I simply asked her to get the ball rolling & keep us updated after we paid the retainer fees and submitted her requested paperwork because we hadn't heard back. She quickly responded with a few lame excuses followed by "We can just refund your deposit ". My gut feeling was not to work with her from the start it felt like we were just a number on the pile and that she was very green and not aggressive driven to help get the job done, turns out by her response above, I was correct. My lawyer Jersey 2,5 years ago asked me to write my story, and he let me write in Russian by pan on notebook. I spent about two months to write my stories. And he didn’t read my story at all. He didn’t know my story until in one week before my court. He didn’t announce me about my court date, after than he didn’t answer my call. Secretary was so neglected, and arrogant. He also took 410$ for work permit and made a mistake several times so I had gotten the permit in 1,5 years.
