This is a bummer because, as you’ll see, I have not left a negative review in the 15 years of having my account: I recently worked with Andrew to obtain advice on a silent partnership contract that was very bare bones (a couple hundred words in length). I was surprised to see that I was charged $438 for Andrew to read this incredibly small document and provide maybe 100 words of feedback. (Will update with screen shots once I have redacted the info) I ended up going with another lawyer who was able to provide a couple of rounds of feedback on this document for about the same price and sharing me he felt I overpaid greatly for the services provided. To be fair, Andrew was thorough and fast, which is why it’s an anomaly this did not extend to his charges and the time he stated required almost 2 hours of billing. I hate to leave a review like this but I communicated this information to Andrew asking to split the difference which would have him still making $250 for the single volley of feedback but he was unwilling to work with me.

When my 79 year old parents were involved in an accident and had a life-altering injury for my mother, we landed in the right place with Hamilton Law and Annette Kelley (and Jessica White). We didn't know how to navigate the system between suing for damages and intertwine with Medicare also. We would have given up a long time ago if we were trying to handle this on our own. I honestly can't say enough positive things about Caroline Taylor and Whitfield Bryson. I was injured in a motorcycle accident and lost my job due to my injuries. Caroline helped us through a tremendously difficult time and was always patient and understanding when we had questions. We had no idea how many different variables there were in an injury settlement and she took the reigns and handled business. She was always very professional, courteous, up front and honest with us. She truly cared about my family and helped us as much as she possibly could to come through this OK. I don't know what we would have done without her and I can't possibly recommend her, and Whitfield Bryson enough. They helped us to get everything we could to help our family.

Back in October I made the massive mistake of driving after some drinks at a concert because I felt like I was fine to do so. I was pulled over for gliding off the road for a second due to falling asleep, as it was very late, and taken to jail for the first time in my life. Despite some difficult facts of my case. (BAC was over the limit .11) Mr. Houston was able to persuade the DA to reduce my charge to Reckless Driving. I want to thank Mr. Houston and the rest of the team for their hard work on my case and for giving me their best. If you need an attorney hire these guys. They will shoot you straight and work hard for you.

I walked into Wesley’s office looking for an attorney to handle my contentious and complication divorce. Though it was no easy case, Wesley said he was up for the task. For the past year I have worked alongside him and his staff and can honestly say I was wowed by the level of knowledge and service they provide. Wesley is incredibly intelligent and knowledgeable. He answers questions with the ease and confidence of someone who has an in-depth understanding of how the system works. Wesley is, above all else, honest. He does not sugar coat advice, which I greatly appreciated. Mark had to fight my charge for a long time because I refused to plead guilty, and the entire time Mark made me feel like I had a friend—a legal friend—fighting in my corner. Mark is a skilled, 10 out of 10 attorney and legal advisor, and his retainer fee was very reasonable. I will always be grateful for how the negotiations he did for me changed the trajectory of my life. I would have lost my job and had a criminal record had I been found guilty, but after Mark’s hard work, the case was (rightfully) dismissed and expunged.

Although most of us never desire to need a lawyer, from time to time in our lives, it becomes necessary. Over the last year, I've needed a lawyer for two different situations that I faced in my life. Luke handled both cases for me. He is extremely competent and professional and also kept me up-to-date on any developments in my cases. He responds to emails and phone calls promptly. Recently, he needed to contact me during my work hours to expedite the conclusion of my case. Because I leave my cell phone in my purse on silent while I'm working, I did not hear his phone calls or see his email message. Previous reviews speak volumes of this man's skills and concern for cases he upholds. He has turned a bleak and dreary, nearly irredeemable case into a hopeful, salvageable one. Without going into too many details, I had to change attorneys and dump their mess onto Luke's shoulders. He had very little time to make adjustments and to absorb the case. This did not deter mister Durham. He took it upon himself to visit places handfuls of hundreds of miles away (out of state) so that he could 'paint a picture' and get the information he needed. He did the work you would expect a phenomenal attorney to do. No stone was left unturned, no possibilities or options had gone unconsidered. He did his absolute best, and hardest work for me. My best interests were - and still are - in his heart. This is why he is my attorney, and why he should also be yours.

November 2020 I had a slip and fall, I spoke to a family member, believing that this could have been preventable, he referred me to The Wharton Law Firm, I have never been in this situation before so I contacted the firm. All this happened during the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic, I received a phone call advising that the attorney wanted to conduct a zoom consultation, during the consultation I advise him of what had taken place on that day, I was then advised that the firm would except my case, I was grateful. Not knowing what to expect, I went to all my doctor visits, obtain any evidence that I could, Andrew kept me up dated on every aspect of the case, if he emailed and stated they needed anything such as medical records, medical bills ect. I was able to obtain them. anytime they call, emailed the first thing they ask was how was I feeling. I woud receive some emails asking certain questions about that day, to clear up a few unanswered questions. As time went on I was still continuing treatment, I would advise them of every appointment I had, what day, who I was seeing, afterwards I would email Andrew advise him of my visit, what will happen next, I just kept him up to date on everything that was going on. Once we got to the near end I was advised of the starting offer, he advise me on each and every one through the end, he consulted with me about what to expect and how this negotiaton would take place, after mutipile offers and at that time which I agreed to settle. I have talked about this firm to my family and would highly recommend The wharton Law Firm, because I was completely satisfied. Mr. Pence and his assistant, Paige Crumpler, have been incredible. Because of head injury I would forget what was said and they were both so kind to go over things for me, often. They kept me informed, never rushed me off the phone, or out of the office. Explained everything so well that I knew exactly what was going on, at all times. He, Mr. Mike Pence, never made promises that he didn’t keep. If I had to sum him up in just one word: Integrity. Brad Burnette helped me with my personal injury case. Brad and his team did a wonderful job, they were extremely nice and welcoming! You know, the skeezy, slick talking, untrustworthy kind. They are nothing like that. Brad was very transparent, he kept me updated, Andrea, his paralegal, was great also. She responded to my emails very quickly and helped get me reimbursed for my rental! They handled EVERYTHING! I didn’t have to do anything really, just heal from my injuries! I was hit by another driver and injured. My car was undriveable, I couldn't work and my medical bills were pilling up. The other driver's insurance company would not take responsibility and wouldn't pay my damages. I was scared and anxious about what to do. I was referred to Matt and that's when things changed for the better. He took the time to meet with me and explained everything that would happen. He laid out a clear plan on how he would recover my damaged and made sure I understood it. He was kind and patient. Shortly after I retained him he forced the insurance company to provide me with a rental car and then to pay to fix my car. He got my doctors to agree to wait until my case was resolved to get paid. That took a lot of the pressure off of me. He then recovered the rest of my damages just as he had laid out and explained to me. He was fantastic. This is a great lawyer.
