We recently went to Kahan Kerensky Caposela, LLP for advice on our legal options should one of us become incapacitated. Attorney Sutton gave us excellent information and when he inquired as to the status of our will, we all realized that it's 25 years old and needed to be updated. So Attorney Sutton and team updated the will (complete with additional paperwork). It was all very efficient. And every interaction we had with anyone in the office was pleasant and professional. We felt like we were in really good hands. We just signed the papers today and feel pretty confident about the future. The thoroughness and preparation with which Melissa approached my case was exemplary! That, along with the innovative strategies she incorporated, reduced the time frame of the divorce from a year to seven months. It was moving towards a trial which would have added another four to five months. In the courtroom, Melissa was sharp as a razor's edge. Respectful and amicable with the other side until they began personal attacks and bullying in and out of court. Melissa was not having ANY of that nonsense and the gloves came off both in and out of court! She was prepared for the other side to try that tactic and fought back with facts they weren't prepared to address. Ultimately, she did not allow my character to get decimated due to false accusations. She also read me as far as how much and which kind of information I could could take at any given time, she did not inundate me but rather waited until she knew I was ready to hear it. I could go on all day and write many more paragraphs. Simply put... the opposing attorney and ex-wife were on a mission to destroy my character and break me financially which is NO exaggeration. I know if I did not have a lawyer the caliber of Melissa, not only would these proceedings still be going on, the other side probably would've achieved their goal. You will not go wrong or regret retaining Melissa as your lawyer, it would be the smartest thing you could do!

Dan brings integrity to his profession, something I suspect he demonstrates in his personal life as well. During my 13 month divorce, he continually coached me on the value of restraint, always concerned with how any action might be perceived should we head to trial. His patience, coupled with his relentless attention to detail, resulted in a positive outcome when my divorce turned from amicable to litigious.
Dan successfully reduced my now ex-wife's settlement demand by 85%. Her lawyer tried an aggressive approach that Dan's experience and coolheadedness was able to navigate and resolve using the facts of our case.
While I am grateful to settling only weeks before our trial, part of me wishes I could have seen Dan litigate -- his tenacity and willingness to fight on my behalf was a preview I got to glimpse during deposition.

My divorce has finally ended. Attorney Gersten’s representation, guidance, and ability to walk me through this process was top notch. I had a very contentious divorce, my ex tried to have me put in prison on false accusations. Attorney Gersten was right there on the phone with the detectives keepingme free. In the end we accomplished all my goals in the divorce and feel like the judge truly saw my side of events. Karen’s closing was a perfect summary of how I had been wronged by my wife and my love of my daughter, the other victim in this case. I nearly cried in court. Her staff has always been there to answer questions and give reassurance that my voice was going to be heard. I recently found myself in the middle of a "gray" divorce. 70 years old, married for 13 years to a woman that turned on me. I decided to represent myself in court, defending my pension, Social Security, health care, non marital assets, bank accounts and such. It didn't take long for me to realize I needed a professional consultation as her attorney's proposal was outrageous and would ruin me financially for the rest of my life.
Karen's name was highly recommended by a close friend. A quick email to her office and I scheduled a consultation.
I'm a good judge of people and immediately knew she was the person I wanted representing me. No nonsense or small talk. Straight to the point. Professional and knows the law. I knew she had my back.
Once the dust settled, I was able to keep 90% of what I worked my entire life for. To say I am happy with her service would be an understatement.
Regarding payment, her billing was straightforward and well documented. The entire process cost me much less than I expected.
In short, I would highly recommend consulting with Karen first. You won't regret it.

Attorney Gersten is a top divorce attorney in the area. She did an amazing job and what seemed to be impossible to me a year ago. I went through a very difficult divorce. Before hiring attorney Gersten I interviewed 4 other attorneys and I am glad I chose Karen. She is very efficient and has fair charges and accounting of hours practice. Karen is very knowledgeable and well respected in the court. She always fights to protect interests of her clients, while open to settlement without unnecessary trials if her clients are satisfied with outcome. If presented with challenge, Karen is open to face it without hesitation and do research of precedents to be used in the court. Karen is always confident and has genuine care for her clients. She always comes to the court prepared and ready to protect your interests. Karen is working hard to make sure she provides high quality service. I wish I could give Karen more than 5 starts.

I retained Attorney Shore for a divorce agreement modification. All I can say is WOW. Hands down the best Attorney I have ever hired in my entire life. She is tough, smart, and not afraid to tackle difficult and sensitive issues with a firm and caring hand. I have never seen someone stand up for my rights in court the way that Attorney Shore did. She worked with me out of state, spent long hours on my case, all while she was EIGHT MONTHS PREGNANT. I can not put into words what her representation has meant to me and my family. Do not. I repeat do NOT settle for a subpar attorney when your reputation rests on another mans shoulders. This lawyer knows how the legal system works from a to z and if you are being falsely accused he will fight for you until the end. He worked tirelessly along with is assistant to get a false charge dismissed and was successful. Do not waste your time looking at reviews that say anything negative about this lawyer. I want to start by saying that Attorney Hardy is a caring man who is very knowledgeable of the law. My children and I were going through a rough time. My ex-wife was being unfaithful and walked out. We have three children together who I was caring for, so naturally I wanted custody. At the time, theyalso were struggling as they wanted to permanently stay with me but didn't know what was going to happen. I called Attorney Hardy and let him know what was going on. He was very professional and took his time to walk me through the procedure. I know at times I was a bit impatient because I wanted to know the outcome, but he was always kind and would tell me that there was a process that would take time. Just like he said, it took some time, but at the end, I was able to keep my children, stay in the residence and get child support, which is very important, and quite honestly impressive. I don't think it could've gone any better. I really appreciate James for all his advice, I would definitely recommend him for anything that has to do with the law. I would give him 10 stars if I could. But unfortunately I can't. Thank you, Attorney Hardy, for everything.

Fierce and ethical. Lindsay shows tremendous integrity when practicing law, advocating for children's best interests as a divorce attorney.
