Teresa Beyers is a go-to for your divorce and family law needs. I have read some reviews and disagree with the very few bad reviews. She has a ton of knowledge and a great ability to navigate a divorce case. Many reviews are written about charging too much for a divorce, but people don't understand she is more reasonable than most. Divorce is never cheap, Teresa will get you what you want and then some.

Ms. Gillespie is an excellent attorney who excels in difficult and complicated family law matters. Having dealt with attorneys my entire adult life, I was particularly impressed with her ability to match legal theory to applicable law. From our initial consultation, I noticed what a compassionate person Alexa was. She is very knowledgeable and quick to respond to emails. I have been involved in a contentious custody dispute with my daughters father. We were never married. My daughter is 8 years old now. Several years ago the court awarded sole legal and physical custody to me based upon substantiated findings of domestic violence.
Recently, my daughters father filed a motion for change of custody. The court appointed Randi Susan Klein as minors counsel to represent the best interest of my daughter. Ms. Klein interviewed my daughter, myself and her father privately. She read through documents in the court file, as well as other pleadings my lawyer sent to her. When we arrived in court, I had no idea what her recommendation was going to be.
Ms. Klein recommended in my favor. She explained to the Judge, step by step, why my daughter should remain in my custody. While she was talking, the judge was carefully listening to her. He was shaking his head in agreement. As a result of Ms. Klein's hard work and presentation, the judge dismissed the fathers motion.
I was so relieved that I cried tears of joy. Ms. Klein was a very strong voice for my child and she was well prepared. I am so grateful that the court appointed her to be my daughters lawyer.

My daughter is involved in a contentious custody battle with her child's father. Her daughter, my grand-daughter, is 8 years old. There was a court hearing this morning. I went with my daughter to court this morning to support her.
When my grand daughter was very young, her father beat my daughter and threatened to take my grand daughter away from her. My grand daughter witnessed the beatings. My grand daughter is still in therapy sorting out how this affected her. The father also prevented me from seeing my grand daughter until she was 9 months old. Eventually my daughter got civil and criminal restraining orders against the father. Now he is only allowed supervised visits.
Recently the father filed a motion for change of custody. The court appointed Randi Susan Klein as minors counsel to represent my grand daughter. Today was the hearing for the court to rule on the father's motion. Ms. Klein was a very strong advocate for my grand daughter. She explained to the court, in a very logical and passionate way, why my granddaughter should remain in my daughter's custody.
Neither my daughter nor myself knew, ahead of time, what Ms. Klein would be recommending to the court. She was eloquent. She understood both the legal and the emotional issues and explained how that impacted our family. I cried when I listed to her in court.
The court dismissed the father's motion for a change of custody.
I am very relieved and very grateful to Ms. Klein. Because of her hard work and commitment, my granddaughter will continue to be safe and to get the professional help that she needs.
Ms. Klein was amazing & did a Great job, I Highly recommend her for anyone seeking Minors Counsel, she is the Best !!!

I don't even know where to start... Lauren has not only managed for me and my (equally stubborn) ex to settle out of court. She has also been absolutely AMAZING throughout the whole process. So I hired the lawyer Karen Suri this year for a modification of a restraining order/ visitation for my son. In this case I was the respondent for the case. Honestly, she was great, she answered all my questions in a timely manner and assisted me with those tough and private questions I had. I’m thankful I found Jackie. I had prior representation for a brief time from the daughter of the head of different firm. I ended up disappointed with that individual and their performance, which seemed to be more self-absorbed than truly dedicated to their client. A very one- dimensional and impersonal experience. Having the expertise of Ms. Jackie Abboud was like a night and day experience. She was immediately engaged, very informative, and a great listener. She truly cares about her clients. She has decades of experience and her unrelenting drive to reach a favorable outcome and protect children is impervious to deflection. I was surprised by her personalization and availability. It was a welcome and refreshing feeling, knowing that I had a seasoned and genuine individual to navigate the waters, comprehensively, and to advise me without being intimidated with any matter or individual along the way. She was masterful at being able to present truth to the Courts and cut through the nonsense brought forth by my ex. Child custody cases can be very tough and stressful to navigate, as one or both parties can be caught up in desperate emotion and do very stupid things that can tie up the Courts time, burn through a lot of money, and ultimately place undue stress and burden on innocent children. Child Custody Evaluators can be involved and have to investigate any allegation. Again, more money essentially taken away from being used for your child’s future, and your child must be involved with having to be questioned, etc. I was on the other end of reckless,, ridiculous, hurtful, and shortsighted desperate attempts at diminishing me as a fair minded and devoted/loving mother. Ultimately, I was granted a move away order. His case crumbled . I was also able to obtain a settlement which greatly helped with court costs. I highly recommend Ms. Abboud if you can secure her services. I understand she doesn’t take on just anyone, and she’s not easy to secure. I feel very fortunate and I’m ever so thankful for our outcome. My daughter is the happiest she’s ever been. Absolutely thriving. I have never used my daughter as a tool, nor have been vindictive. That’s so important. Truth won, and I’m ever so grateful for Ms. Abboud being a steward of justice and incredible support for me and my daughter.
