Hiring Steve Epstein to help me with the many issues that I was facing regarding a very complicated and messy divorce that included a wide array of valuable assets-- a very successful company, multiple homes, expensive cars, dozens of accounts of all types, in addition to his help in regards to custody, a DWI case, being in a 5 week coma, and steering me out of significant life or death substance abuse issues, was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
Steve is a zealous advocate for his clients. He is also a brilliant strategist, and his organizational skills and preparedness were top caliber. Simply put, I honestly do not even know if I would alive to write this review if it wasn't for Steve. He has also been a great mentor, and has helped me in understanding how to be a better father for my little girl, and a better person overall. James is an outstanding attorney. In my experience, during the course of about 12 months, he always had my best interests in mind, always responded promptly to my communications, and was always honest and up-front.
Three things James recommend to me, when we first met for our consultation, and then another thing shortly after, gave me full confidence in him, and achieving a speedy separation/divorce.
First, he recommended to refrain from offering anything I wouldn’t accept myself.
Second, refrain from making unreasonable or unfair requests.
Third, if still in doubt, do not request or offer anything that a judge would’t find reasonable and acceptable.
The other thing James told me, after reviewing all our paperwork and process, was that my ex and I had already completed most of the work, and if everyone was prepared to sit together and be reasonable, we could have everything completed within a few hours.
Unfortunately, reasonable was not in my ex’s attorneys vocabulary. And in the end, not only did my ex failed in all her unreasonable requests, she also wasted a ton of money because she picked an attorney who did not have her best interests in mind, and she lost our house because her attorney went AWOL for multiple days prior to paperwork deadlines (now I have the house even though I gave my ex first option).
Bottom line; James is honest, fair, and professional, and he’ll look after you and your best interests in a fair, honest, and speedy manner.

I was initially hesitant and even skeptical of asking a lawyer to help us with estate planning. We had only a modest and relatively simple estate. At the urging of my wife, we met with Duffy Palmer who educated us in estate law. His patience and honest answers to our many questions left us with a new appreciation of issues we had never considered. We learned about the costs and legal tangles often encountered in probate, and we did not want to lay these difficulties on our children. Instead, we wanted to pass on our estate to them as efficiently as possible. We became convinced that the cost of creating a revocable living trust, reworking our wills and powers of attorney would be a good investment in the future of our family. The resulting trust and related documents would simplify and eliminate many of hurdles and costs that arise at the time of a death. Mr. Palmer is young and he is honest and stable. His services do not end when the portfolio is completed. The process of crafting the trust required several phone calls and back-and-forth emails with our edits marked in red. We feel very good about the final product. Mr. Palmer patiently worked with us until we had completed all of the necessary actions. We now have an Estate Planning Portfolio that contains the necessary paperwork to cover the many possible complications that can occur upon death. We highly recommend Mr. Duffy Palmer and the estate planning process he expertly performs.

As lawyers go, Alan Schneider is a ROCK STAR! He helped me with a legal matter that I will forever be grateful. For many years, he took my calls and read my emails yet never charged me.
I've known quite a few lawyers and Alan stands above them all. He should be in a lawyer's Hall of Fame. Warm, friendly and smart as a whip are just a few adjectives I'd use to describe him. I'll never forget what he did for me. To quote a line from the movie Jerry McGuire, Alan is "my ambassador of Quan!"

A few weeks before moving out of state, I was served with papers for custody of my then 8 month old son (an arrangement my son’s father and I had both previously agreed to). We did not have a written custody agreement and the baby had stayed with me full time. I was unaware anything was being filed until I was served by the sheriff while I was at work (I’m a full time Pediatric emergency department RN). Once the shock factor wore off, panic set in. North Carolina was a state where I had no family and was by all means meant to be a temporary stay. Before meeting Amy, other lawyers refused to hear me out and told me to settle, as I was bound to lose in court. I refused to accept being trapped in a state where I had no connections and upon meeting Amy, I realized she wouldn’t let me either. From day one I felt supported and although she warned me any relocation case would be an “uphill battle” she never stopped fighting to reunite my son and I with our family in our home state. Amy is personable, professional, and has a good relationship with the court as well as other attorneys. Without her expertise, approach, knowledge of the law, and attention to detail, I truly believe I’d still be fighting for my rights to come home with my son. Amy and her team sorted through thousands of text messages and pictures to develop a portfolio for my defense. I’d 100% recommend Amy. She not only met my expectations as a lawyer, she exceeded them.

This is my second review of Lindley Law and my satisfaction is the same. Attorney Lindley is truly the best at what she does. Mr. Davenport does a good job of walking you through the process and making you realize that it's not the end of the world. However, it's not a quick process and a lot of it involves relying on an expected outcome by the judge. So, with this in mind, he will continue your case until he gets it in front of the right judge. With me, this process lasted over a year. During this time, I attended counseling and dealt with the loss of a close family member. Eventually, my case went to trial and I was found guilty. So, in hindsight, Mr. Davenport bought me some time to take care of my personal business and negotiated a guilty plea to the least offensive level; I'm grateful for this. One thing you have to consider: They (the prosecution, the defense, the judge, etc.) all know each other and they're not going to do anything to jeopardize a good working relationship. What does this mean for you? If you're guilty, you're not getting completely out of it.

Nancy Grace and her paralegal Erin were excellent handling my QDRO after my previous attorney messed things up. Their communications and work were clear and efficient. Even though Nancy is not the cheapest attorney, she made most of the time that was charged. I only wish Nancy Grace had represented me through my divorce. It would have costed a lot less. Nancy Grace took care of everything!
She had the knowledge and experience to guide me through my difficult divorce. My Ex did not want to give me alimony and we had to fight an almost 2 year battle. But we prevailed and I am able to live comfortable now versus my fear of struggling to get by! She was able to calm me down when I was upset, talk me down when I felt like I couldn't go on, and lift me up when I was defeated.

Writing this review because of the unacceptable and costly administrative errors made during the handling of my case. Egregious errors include the attorney failing to prepare any argument points for negotiation, blaming his performance on his failing memory, double billing for hours already paid for, and ultimately *losing my settlement check* within his own office.
