I got into a bind and was reluctant at first because of prices. I saw Mrs . Lacy H online and after already seeing great reviews I decided to reach out via email to discuss my case. Mrs. Lacy was very understanding and was very willing to negotiate my price as well being that I could have well spent over 1,000 is dollars I ended up paying only roughly 5-7 hundred. After a few emails back and forth she was very straightforward and helpful regarding possible outcomes and reassuring me every step of the way and showing up promptly to my case. As someone who unfortunately has had to deal with 4-5 lawyers in the few years this was by far my absolute worst experience with any attorney/firm. Can’t recommend enough to get a different consult and get better advice, would never work with them again.
The strategy here seems to be to take clients to court and to drag things out as long as possible to wrack up billable hours. From this from I paid over $10k for a divorce case that almost went to trial, until the firm was late on giving me needed disclosures to complete - when I changed attorneys almost instantly got the case out of court and saved a ton of money and got what I wanted.
Attorneys here couldn’t seem to care less, they are arrogant and will give you bad informaron to keep your case going to trial. Total waste and huge regret wasting any time and money here.

Hired him for an Expungement, $1000 and 2 years later has done nothing and won't respond in any form email, call, text, voicemail. I've seen him at the gym and he tells me to text him and he'll make it right!! I'm an ECU graduate Magna Cum Laude on May 5th 23. 7 years clean and sober on 5-8-24, I have turned my life around & need help & he has treated me horribly as like he cares less. I'm baffled that he has done absolutely nothing for me. He certainly isn't a Christian or a God fearing man that's for sure.

Patterson Harkavy LLP claims to handle employment matters for employees, but my experience was completely the opposite. They turned me away without even bothering to do an intake to review my claim. When I tried to follow up by phone, no one ever answered. If you're dealing with legal issues, I wouldn't recommend reaching out to them—they're unresponsive, and it's clear that employment matters are not their priority. Very disappointing.

Attorney Richardson is frank, direct and goes straight to business. Something that I respect is just that. When his words to me is “What do you want to do?” That was my first sign to me he means business. Here I was thinking I’m going to meet his paralegal. Absolutely was not the case. I found myself in a room sitting in front of the attorney himself. After offering us coffee (my wife and I) the attorney went right into my case. He listens, processes all that you tell him about your case and then executes what is best for you. After our first meeting (same day) it didn’t take an hour before he had us sitting once again in his office gathering more information about my case. PHENOMENAL experience and exactly what I need. Someone who actually cares and has a personal relationship with his client.

Bueno mi experiencia con esta firma de abogados desde el punto de vista de ayuda a sus clientes y el estar pendientes de tu caso es realmente deficiente ya que decidí que me representarán en mi caso y al principio como todo te ofrecen los mejores abogados el mejor servicio y una gran representación ante tu caso. Pues resulta que no es así me cobraron más de $3000 dólares por llenar una forma y enviarla a USCIS, eso fue al rededor de 2 años atrás y pues ellos me enviaron una extensión a mi caso que está en revisión, y resulta que el día de hoy llamo a la oficina de abogados que supuestamente me representa para que me den una actualización sobre mi caso ya que dicha extensión ya expiró y por ende ellos debían estar pendiente de eso pero no, la respuesta de la persona que atendió mi llamada me dice que el caso con esta oficina ya estaba cerrado que iban averiguar que había pasado con eso y me devolverían la llamada, entonces queda uno con un sinsabor de que todo lo que dicen que van hacer pues a la final queda ahí plasmado de momento porque después de que te cobran para representarte y recibir un apoyo de una firma de abogados se convierte en que solo lo hacen por quitarte tu dinero que tanto cuesta obtenerlo en este país para que te digan después de 2 años su caso está cerrado sin Investigar primero antes de cerrar un caso de un cliente que pagó más de 3000 dólares por nada, se deberían tomar al menos el tiempo de eso de actualizarse en los casos que ellos toman, pero lamentablemente no es así solo buscan es el beneficio de ellos y no de los clientes. No deberían jugar con eso!!!

I hired Danielle just over five years ago. When I met with Danielle, I just knew she was the absolute best fit for me. There is a very simple reason why Danielle is so well-liked: she is a talented and outstanding attorney who works for her clients as if they were her personal friend or family member. I had the good fortune to find her in my search for new representation after a serious child custody crisis. I had to resolve financial things, but those were a piece of cake in comparison to the issues with my daughter. I still remember the first time I met Danielle because her knowledge, professionalism, honesty and genuine demeanor was strikingly different from the attorney I had worked with and the experiences I had had. She skillfully brought calm to a very emotional and chaotic situation. My ex was toxic and terrible for my daughter who had very specific and special needs. I am so thankful that I chose Jillian to represent me in my custody case. From consultation, to solidifying a final order by trial Jillian was a strong advocate for my desires and kept the interest of my children at the forefront. Jillian and her firm was very responsive to all my correspondence and operated at a level of excellence that I have grown to expect as a veteran and military professional. She is not afraid to address stereotypes, biases, and put together a plan that challenged them all. Furthermore, she understands the importance of fathers, African American fathers to their children, and was not scared to have the difficult conversation in court with children of both African American and Caucasian parents. My voice was heard and it was 100% clear that she would fight for my desires, but she always gave thoughtful recommendations to me as her client. Jillan promised she would advocate for me in the best way possible and build the strongest case she could and she delivered on her word. Courtney went above and beyond to help my son with his child visitation case. She came in on her day off , during pandemic when the opposing counsel pulled a shady court order. She immediately handled the situation and with good results. My son's case was a tough case and ended with good results without even having to go to trial. She is worth every penny and then some. When I made the decision to modify custody for my daughter I knew it was going to take a GREAT attorney to make it happen. I was told Courtney Hull was the woman I wanted, and boy was that information correct! Courtney is an amazing attorney who is passionate about what she does, I felt like like she was more than just my attorney but a friend! She did everything in her power to help my case and I ended up with joint custody, 50 50 after signing sole custody over to my childs father and after not seeing my child for a year. Almost unheard of right? Yet Courtney made it happen. I can't begin to put into words how lucky I feel to have been represented by Ashley Smith in my divorce and custody case. Ashley cares about her clients and during what was easily the scariest and most difficult time in my life, I was able to focus on what mattered, protecting my 7 yr old daughter, myself, work, and keeping a straight head knowing I had Ashley on my side to quickly navigate and provide outstanding advise during a chaotic time. She believed in me and was always available and immediately got back to me the numerous times I had to contact her. I was prepared most importantly for the 2 times we had to go in front of a judge and was calm on the stand because I listened to Ashley's advise. I cannot say enough about Ms. Ashley Smith. She is the eye of the storm. The part in the middle that is calm and stable while there is chaos spinning all around. Nothing against this firm in terms of expenses, Divorce is an expensive ordeal and does take significant research and work to formalize a proper agreement based on special situations and individual situations. While one must be prepared for such legal costs over all the experience with Hartsoe and Associates was amazing. Every turn of event and every time I had any issue he was on top of it and always responded to my every question, issue, etc. even when I know he was not in the office! I found Alex by chance, and I couldn't be more pleased. My now husband and my two boys wanted to make it official and do an adoption.
