Mike and his staff went above and beyond for me. Got me more than 50% and as there for me every step of the way. He answered any and all questions I had about everything that was going on. He is funny and friendly and looks out for your best interests! Not that I plan to need him again but I would use him again and would recommend him to anyone. Well worth the money spent!

I hired them cause they were all I could afford after my ex walked out with our savings account. They managed to get the job done but they're were condescending, barely communicated, canceled phone meetings if they just didn't feel like answering my questions, didn't keep me appraised of the progress and were rude and nasty and belligerent when I followed up. They seemed to care more about being buddies with my ex's lawyer than representing me fairly and fighting for me. It was a traumatic divorce already made worse by their attitude. If you can afford any other lawyer, do it. Don't use these guys unless you like being abused and are really desperate for your divorce to be finalized (I was).

I’m writing this as a warning for special needs parents who are looking for legal help. We contacted Shay almost two years ago, needing help with a special needs trust and a birth certificate issue. She said she could handle both for us and we paid 3k up front. During the next 18 months, we had to consistently call her office for updates regarding the trust. It took over a year for her to finish writing it, and then when we finally received it, we found she had written the wrong name down for guardianship. A big error!
As for the birth certificate issue, it never got fixed. We would call her office every few weeks for an update. But finally, we just stopped calling and we haven’t heard from her in over 6 months. This entire experience was horrible for us! I’m shocked that her rating is as high as it is on here… We paid her 3k and baaarely got half of what was promised.

Having never been involved in a legal action, we were hesitant to seek assistance when our insurance company flatly denied our claim, after our roof was damaged in a hail storm. Going through a divorce process with relocation to Germany is hard. But changing attorneys and hiring Mr. Windel and his team, was the best thing I could have done. Mr. Windel jumped into action and made more progress in a few days than I had seen with my previous attorney in months. If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation in which you need to use the long term disability benefits that you have then please take your time and consider using Mr. Hill’s law practice. The policies that the LTD providers have can be challenging, confusing and quite bigoted. The team here however will go above and beyond to ensure that everything is taken into consideration, will explain everything in a full and clear manner and that all further communications with the LTD provider will take place through their practice. Furthermore, all the conferences that took place never felt rushed and left me more informed and educated by the time they were over. Patricia, Michael and Dernica in which I worked with always resulted in positive interactions and got back to me in a timely manner. Mr. Hill has the experience, took his time to understand the situation fully and was able to get my denied benefits restored. If I could go back in time I would have done one thing different though, I would have hired this practice from the onset of my LTD benefits instead of waiting until something went astray. As I have a feeling that with them involved from the start that the denial the LTD provider tried to get away with would have never been attempted.

Richard Hornsby if you need a fantastic attorney it would be Richard Hornsby. I used Richard Hornsby's father somewhere in the 70s.Don't hold me to it, but it was somewhere in the 70s.And he was such a fantastic attorney.He was somebody that wasn't easy to forget and I never did. And when I needed an attorney again, I was saddened to find out That senior RIchard hornsby was now with us only in spirit.and I was haveing such a hard time I was praying I could I afford him.my fingers were crossed I thought to myself it's so nice to know.There's still a Hornsby out there and if he's anything like his father then that's who I want,! And need!
And so I did, I hired him approximately 6 weeks ago. He has class, he has integrity. He is very straight forward. Very Stern which seems and appears to be Very rude at First. Then you look at the big picture And you realize he's not at all.! He's just doing his job and I like the way he does his job straight forward to the point.He's Just very matter of fact, And that's exactly why I liked his father. And thats exactly why i liked him.And I should say that's exactly why I adored his father .and I have referred 4 people to him since I hired him.

My wife spoke with Jd. Strong today during a 30-minute consultation. He was excellent! He listened to her concerns and immediately provided her with resources to address them independently. Jd. Strong mentioned receiving 14 calls this week on the same issue from other folks. I highly recommend Jd. Strong; he is transparent, ethical, and knowledgeable. I’m writing this as a warning for special needs parents who are looking for legal help. We contacted Shay almost two years ago, needing help with a special needs trust and a birth certificate issue. She said she could handle both for us and we paid 3k up front. During the next 18 months, we had to consistently call her office for updates regarding the trust. It took over a year for her to finish writing it, and then when we finally received it, we found she had written the wrong name down for guardianship. A big error!
As for the birth certificate issue, it never got fixed. We would call her office every few weeks for an update. But finally, we just stopped calling and we haven’t heard from her in over 6 months. This entire experience was horrible for us! I’m shocked that her rating is as high as it is on here… We paid her 3k and baaarely got half of what was promised.
