I hired Christina’s law firm to represent me during my divorce. I was hesitant to file due to a lot of fears and unknowns. She was patient and professional with me. Never pushed me to make any decisions I wasn’t comfortable with. She was supportive and informative. The entire process was daunting yet she never failed to keep me in the loop. Christina and her team made me feel comfortable, seen, and heard. She was very knowledgeable in family law and took the time to make sure I understood everything that was happening before any decisions were made. I never felt rushed or under pressure with her. Christina handled my divorce and subsequent custody issues quickly and efficiently. She and her team were always available when needed, and were clear in all communications. She even identified some issues with opposing counsel's paperwork that could've made things very difficult for me down the line. Her no-nonsense approach ensures that she makes the best use of your time and money, and she doesn't cower when opposing counsel becomes aggressive.
Christina's knowledge and advice are invaluable, and I owe her much more that I could ever say. Ever the professional, she requires a lot from her clients with regard to documentation and doing things the right way, but it pays off since you know that your arguments will be presented in the best possible light. She doesn't come cheap, but she's worth every cent.

Camy Schawm Wilcox and her team are some of the best family law attorneys in Central Florida. Camy handled my divorce and dependency case involving a termination of parental rights. I believe Camy is the only family law attorney in Central Florida who could have achieved the outcome we did, most attorneys in the area were simply not qualified or willing to take on a case this complicated.
Camy was on top of everything from day one and addressed every curveball thrown at us with speed and efficiency, (and boy were there a lot of them). Camy is very honest and straightforward with her thoughts and opinions. Personally, I love that! I never found myself wondering what she meant when she said something. I tend to be blunt myself and appreciate direct communication.
Camy can absolutely be aggressive in court when she needs to be however she’s also very respectful and courteous to all parties involved in your cases. Camy works very hard for her clients and makes it a point not to engage in unethical or unprofessional behavior. Even when the opposing side is engaging in this type of behavior Camy maintains her integrity. Time and time again, the outcomes in the end were a good reflection of her professional behavior. This certainly doesn’t go unnoticed by the judges or their assistants either.
To say Camy is a hard worker is an understatement!! She is a machine!! Camy and her team always communicated with me regularly. Camy even worked my case from her mother’s hospital bedside when it became necessary and it wasn’t uncommon to see an email come through during the evening hours. That said, when there’s nothing really happening (which happens a lot in the court system), Camy NEVER bombarded me with trivial things just to bill hours. If everything was quiet, then everything was quiet. This can be nerve wracking, however running up your bill with unnecessary questions and comments when there’s no reason would be nerve wracking as well.
Camy, associate attorney Leah, paralegals Gio and Shannon, and firm administrator Debbie are an incredible team of professionals who worked tirelessly for my family. They are absolutely the ONLY attorneys who could have done what they needed to do to protect innocent children from being placed in harm’s way due to a biological connection.
I highly recommend Camy and her team to anyone who needs a family law attorney or an attorney for a dependency case. I haven’t had a need for representation in any of the other areas of law that the firm practices in, but I wouldn’t hesitate to call them should the need arise. Camy doesn’t take on cases in areas of the law that she isn’t familiar with and if something happens to come up that she isn’t familiar with, (as it did in my cases) she never hesitated to reach out to a colleague for assistance. That speaks volumes about her character to me.
My cases certainly were not considered “normal” circumstances and this firm fought long and hard for my family until we were ALL safe. For our family, they are Superheroes!! I still think of these ladies often and my youngest still asks about them and misses them too! After going through something like we did with an amazing team of “Superheroes” standing beside us throuought the duration, there is a fondness in my heart almost like that of family that just can't be explained in words. Thank you Camy Wilcox and Associates for all you do!!

Worst family law firm in Orlando. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy! Lack of focus, terrible communication, ignorance, and outright lies is exactly what you should expect from Paulette Hamilton and her staff. When you look for representation as you go to battle, please find another law firm, one that is aggressive, pays attention to you, and is detail oriented. This Clown show does not care about their clients, they care about money. I honestly don’t know how they are not embarrassed with how they handled my case and I will spread word far and wide so that nobody I know is taken advantage of like I was. PLEASE find a firm that is truly looking out for you - Divorce and child custody is hard enough without having a lackluster attorney representing you.

Lisa is by far the best attorney I have worked with. She is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the law, competent, hard-working, determined, reasonably priced and genuinely cares about you and your case. I had an interstate case that was rather complex. After speaking with Lisa, I knew she was the best attorney for the job. I had called about 7 other attorneys and they were all confused about how to go about my case and they were hesitant as to my next step. Not Lisa! Lisa knew exactly what to do! She was an angel. She is also one of the hardest working attorneys I have ever encountered. At no time did I ever feel in the dark about what was going on. She kept me up to date on everything and made sure I knew what was going on at all times. She oftentimes worked from home into the wee hours of the night (thanks Lisa). She managed to do all this within the retainer fee that I paid and my case was DONE. Yes DONE. She tied up all the loose ends of my case even though I wasn't in the state! I recently reached out to Attorney Melissa Pendergrass about my current legal situation and after speaking with me she explained she was no longer focused on the type of representation I was requiring. She was extremely knowledgeable about my legal problem but felt I was better suited for another attorney! I felt a review was the least I could do seeing as she took the time to hear me out for free and refer me to another attorney she felt was best suited for my situation. It's difficult to find someone who will put your best interest in front of there financial gain and for this reason alone i felt she showed her true character that my outcome meant more than her bottom line! I would be cautious using Brenna manna & Diamond when you read about them they say Pro business law firm with emphasis on competence and character. My experience was completely the opposite. My attorney was not once on time not even to the mediation meeting (late and unprepared), I'm pretty sure I was overcharged for meetings that never happened, and now I'm getting invoices from Apr (that were paid in full) in Nov that show I owe money. when I called they said not to worry about the invoices were closing our files. 7months later! WOW!
I'm a 21yr Navy veteran they told me what I wanted to hear and didn't deliver and so I would NOT recommend using them.

This guy took 3 years on a case that should of took one and just as we wher almost done with the case he completely became unresponsive. Called and left several emails over 3 months and nothing. Finally gave up and started the bar complaint and hired a new lawyer.

I was dealing with a very complicated Family Law case and found Mr. Spence out of luck. I didn't have much money and when contacting him he made me feel at ease. He stood by me and kept me informed the entire time. I've always gotten the impression that attorneys were all about their bank account. We worked the hiring details out and he committed himself to the entire divorce and child sharing process. My case was appeals multiple times and unfortunately took years to resolve. He never let me down or made me feel he like he was all about the money. He is compassionate and understanding. AND he still takes my calls even though my case is closed. After all of the time and effort he put in - it paid off !!! He is a great attorney. I have sent multiple people his way and I would definitely hire him again!

I hired Cynthia for a child custody case. On the positive side she always responded to my concerns and provided time for my questions. On the negative side I felt that she was just trying to get my case off of her caseload in the fastest way possible by settling. I did not feel that she was willing to fight for my side, as I would expect my lawyer to do.

I don't usually write reviews, but this case was deserving. My family member had the bad misfortune of choosing Mr. Gallagher for his attorney. Right from the onset of the case he showed his lack of respect and incompetence for his client. He held on to the paperwork for his filling so long that my family member became the defendant where he should have been the plaintiff. Mr. Gallagher continued to to take his sweet time filling documents to the point my family member was reprimanded by the court! Mr. Gallagher to show a lack of respect for his client and the court by on more than one occasion falling asleep in court and not ounce objecting to anything. In my humble opinion Mr. Gallagher should be sanctioned or DISBARRED!

First and foremost, I want to point out that I do not write reviews often but due to my experience with Mr Gallaghers law firm I feel the need to warn those of you who work hard for the money you need to now spend on lawyer fees. At first glance this office presents itself as a “Father’s Rights” attorney that is willing to fight for your best interests. Once you have paid your dues you will just become another number and solely an income source. On July 30th I paid my retainer fee and signed all necessary paperwork for the firm to file my case (this was after I had to correct them due to many errors in the petition regarding my case that I spoke to them about in detail prior to our meeting). They did not file my case until a week later on August 6th. They were fully aware that time was of the essence due to the mother attempting to relocate my son without permission. Thankfully, I was adamant with them about being in contact with the process server once the case was finally filed because that is the only process that went semi-smoothly. They then filed a motion for contempt; after I expressed frustrations that the mother completed the move; without advising me that my case was not at the stage for a motion of contempt to hold up being that the petition had not been responded to as of yet. Of course, this cost a part of my retainer. I set up an in person meeting under the assumption I was going to be speaking with Kenneth Gallagher. My appointment apparently was with the secretary, Dale. He attempted to reassure me by letting me know that after my case is finally complete hopefully, I will be a little more at peace with a time-sharing schedule that will allow me weekends and holidays with my son. When I hired this firm, I was very vocal about what I wanted going in and being a weekend father was not it. My main goal was keeping my son local so that I can continue to be in his life full time and shared 50/50 custody. After this meeting I realized hiring this firm was a huge mistake. Going through the paternity process in courts when the other party is being difficult can be overwhelming and frustrating. & during this weak, stressful moment in my life the Law Office of Kenneth Gallagher chose to remind me every day of my current balance with them and that I would need to “add funds soon”. Montine, the paralegal in the office, is rude and does not at all empathize with her clients. Every phone call to their office felt like I was a burden. The only time I actually spoke with Kenneth Gallagher himself was prior to hiring him during the consultation and once more when he filed the motion for contempt. The last thing this office was supposed to handle for me was to provide a mandatory disclosure of my financials which I provided to them in full. Over 15 documents that I put together and organized for them for easy filing. THIS PAPERWORK WAS NEVER FILED! I fired Kenneth Gallagher and his office on 9/15. As of that date I have paid $3500 to them, and they are demanding that I still owe them over a grand. I have since hired a new lawyer and was attempting to gain access to all the documents I had sent to Kenneth Gallaghers office being that none of it was ever filed. My new Lawyer contacted the firm and spoke to Montine, which she confirmed was extremely rude to her as well, only to be turned down and told I am not allowed access to my personal files due to an open balance with them. The only thing this office did for me during the 6 weeks I was a client with them was file my initial petition, file a pointless motion for contempt and rob a hard-working father just trying to establish his paternal rights. I strongly encourage you to call a different attorney, one that cares about you, unless you want to take the chance of throwing away your money and ending up with a story like mines.
