Not only was the staff professional in how they handled my case, but they were also very kind and attentive to my needs. Lis Heymann ( senior paralegal) was beyond amazing. Words honestly can't describe the immense gratitude my family and I have for Attorney Andrew Darling and his law firm. Facing 10 years on two felony charges and I was adjudacted not guilty on both. Attorney Darling worked tirelessly when seeking discovery and his legal accumen gave me the reassurance I was in good hands. He is compassionate and gives you a no nonsense approach when communicating your legal options.
Although, some things didn't work in my favor in the legal process. It was Attorney Darling who was there for both my family and I every step of the way. Whether it was picking up my phone calls in jail, throughout my case, and even during the aftermath Attorney Darling went beyond the typical standard of legal representation. I called them to schedule the free 15 minute phone consultation… I let it be known that I was calling on behalf of my mother because there’s a slight language barrier and the receptionist (or whoever he was) informed me that they don’t take clients who can’t speak the language even if I am here to assist. Which I find very weird and off-putting, especially in this day and age, because it has never been an issue any other place!! He then proceeds to give me the number of another attorney located in Kissimmee and said that’s where they refer people to (people with language barriers I suppose?? Or people they just don’t want to take on as clients for whatever odd reasoning they have).

Mack went above and beyond. He handled my case with grace ensured that I was not going to be railroaded, but took time to not only explain everything but provided different options and possibly outcomes to finish out my case. He was referred to me by another client and friend that had used him and he told me Mack was the truth and now I can whole heartedly say that statement was an understatement. Not only did he stay with me for the entirety of the case but he stayed on the opposing Council as they were dragging the case out longer than it needed to be. Attorney Mackhanlall was truly a god sent to me and walked me past the finish line and then some. I can not thank him enough and I am forever grateful for his expertise and compassion. Mr. Washington was a great help in a process in which my children would have been exposed to drugs, alcohol, and a rough upbringing with their mother. Mr. Washington was able to help me become the sole provider for both of my children who are now grown up, graduated high school, and are healthy and happy 19 and 20 year olds. With his help of explaining my case properly to the judge, I was able to have full custody of my 2 children in order to raise them to be great citizens. My experience was just short of negligence. Communication is desperately lacking, my requests to review motions before submitted on my behalf and communications from opposing attorneys were completely ignored, and the outcome due to their ignorance was less than acceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this firm to anyone that is looking for a thorough, detailed, and aggressive firm to represent them.

Worst family law firm in Orlando. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy! Lack of focus, terrible communication, ignorance, and outright lies is exactly what you should expect from Paulette Hamilton and her staff. When you look for representation as you go to battle, please find another law firm, one that is aggressive, pays attention to you, and is detail oriented. This Clown show does not care about their clients, they care about money. I honestly don’t know how they are not embarrassed with how they handled my case and I will spread word far and wide so that nobody I know is taken advantage of like I was. PLEASE find a firm that is truly looking out for you - Divorce and child custody is hard enough without having a lackluster attorney representing you.

I highly NOT recommend Mrs. Kay-Ann Waite. I hired her in April and at the beginning she told me it wasn’t going to take too long and it seemed she was going to work hard for me. Then, I had to constantly ask for updates since she didn’t provided any without me asking. It is June now and since 2 weeks ago, I have been calling to her office and sending emails and text messages asking for updates but it seems pointless. If she is not planning to get the job done, I would like to get a refund and hire another lawyer.

I was dealing with a very complicated Family Law case and found Mr. Spence out of luck. I didn't have much money and when contacting him he made me feel at ease. He stood by me and kept me informed the entire time. I've always gotten the impression that attorneys were all about their bank account. We worked the hiring details out and he committed himself to the entire divorce and child sharing process. My case was appeals multiple times and unfortunately took years to resolve. He never let me down or made me feel he like he was all about the money. He is compassionate and understanding. AND he still takes my calls even though my case is closed. After all of the time and effort he put in - it paid off !!! He is a great attorney. I have sent multiple people his way and I would definitely hire him again!

I hired Cynthia for a child custody case. On the positive side she always responded to my concerns and provided time for my questions. On the negative side I felt that she was just trying to get my case off of her caseload in the fastest way possible by settling. I did not feel that she was willing to fight for my side, as I would expect my lawyer to do.

I don't usually write reviews, but this case was deserving. My family member had the bad misfortune of choosing Mr. Gallagher for his attorney. Right from the onset of the case he showed his lack of respect and incompetence for his client. He held on to the paperwork for his filling so long that my family member became the defendant where he should have been the plaintiff. Mr. Gallagher continued to to take his sweet time filling documents to the point my family member was reprimanded by the court! Mr. Gallagher to show a lack of respect for his client and the court by on more than one occasion falling asleep in court and not ounce objecting to anything. In my humble opinion Mr. Gallagher should be sanctioned or DISBARRED!

First and foremost, I want to point out that I do not write reviews often but due to my experience with Mr Gallaghers law firm I feel the need to warn those of you who work hard for the money you need to now spend on lawyer fees. At first glance this office presents itself as a “Father’s Rights” attorney that is willing to fight for your best interests. Once you have paid your dues you will just become another number and solely an income source. On July 30th I paid my retainer fee and signed all necessary paperwork for the firm to file my case (this was after I had to correct them due to many errors in the petition regarding my case that I spoke to them about in detail prior to our meeting). They did not file my case until a week later on August 6th. They were fully aware that time was of the essence due to the mother attempting to relocate my son without permission. Thankfully, I was adamant with them about being in contact with the process server once the case was finally filed because that is the only process that went semi-smoothly. They then filed a motion for contempt; after I expressed frustrations that the mother completed the move; without advising me that my case was not at the stage for a motion of contempt to hold up being that the petition had not been responded to as of yet. Of course, this cost a part of my retainer. I set up an in person meeting under the assumption I was going to be speaking with Kenneth Gallagher. My appointment apparently was with the secretary, Dale. He attempted to reassure me by letting me know that after my case is finally complete hopefully, I will be a little more at peace with a time-sharing schedule that will allow me weekends and holidays with my son. When I hired this firm, I was very vocal about what I wanted going in and being a weekend father was not it. My main goal was keeping my son local so that I can continue to be in his life full time and shared 50/50 custody. After this meeting I realized hiring this firm was a huge mistake. Going through the paternity process in courts when the other party is being difficult can be overwhelming and frustrating. & during this weak, stressful moment in my life the Law Office of Kenneth Gallagher chose to remind me every day of my current balance with them and that I would need to “add funds soon”. Montine, the paralegal in the office, is rude and does not at all empathize with her clients. Every phone call to their office felt like I was a burden. The only time I actually spoke with Kenneth Gallagher himself was prior to hiring him during the consultation and once more when he filed the motion for contempt. The last thing this office was supposed to handle for me was to provide a mandatory disclosure of my financials which I provided to them in full. Over 15 documents that I put together and organized for them for easy filing. THIS PAPERWORK WAS NEVER FILED! I fired Kenneth Gallagher and his office on 9/15. As of that date I have paid $3500 to them, and they are demanding that I still owe them over a grand. I have since hired a new lawyer and was attempting to gain access to all the documents I had sent to Kenneth Gallaghers office being that none of it was ever filed. My new Lawyer contacted the firm and spoke to Montine, which she confirmed was extremely rude to her as well, only to be turned down and told I am not allowed access to my personal files due to an open balance with them. The only thing this office did for me during the 6 weeks I was a client with them was file my initial petition, file a pointless motion for contempt and rob a hard-working father just trying to establish his paternal rights. I strongly encourage you to call a different attorney, one that cares about you, unless you want to take the chance of throwing away your money and ending up with a story like mines.

My mom and I had the displeasure of talking with Cynthia Nunn from Leighton Law to discuss going after Orlando Health for their negligence in treating my dad's cancer, which led to his passing. Not only did she make us relive our nightmarish story that we had already submitted online, she wasted our time by shutting us down immediately. If she was going to say no, why make us relive the trauma? To add insult to injury, she was actually defending the negligent doctors in question and straight up told us that our loved one was going to die anyway. Whether that was true or not, you do not just say that so nonchalantly to other people. You would not like that if someone said that about your dad. I am almost glad they did not take our case because I would rather deal with the devil himself than deal with Cynthia and Leighton Law after the added emotional damage she did to us.
