I had an extremely complicated case. My kids were visiting ( I had summer visitation) and they reported abuse and neglect to me and their step mom. Jared walked me calmly through every step of the process. Was honest and upfront about everything. Gave me options every step of the way. Not only did Jared get the finding of Arizona having jurisdiction (an amazing feet for those of you who understand this situation), but I ended up with full physical and legal custody of my children in the end thanks to his expert legal knowledge. Most importantly, Jared helped me make my kids safe!
If you need a lawyer for family law, and you don't hire this guy, your making a mistake.

We are so glad we chose the Folger Law Firm to represent us. The accident was traumatic enough and we weren't looking forward to dealing with all that is involved in filing an insurance claim. Under unusual circumstance and fiery apposing counsel, the Cantor Law Group, more notably, Natalie L. Mathews, executed her duties as a family law attorney in a superlative manner. Attorney Mathews, deserves respect, because, she presented our case, in accordance to our and her, high moral standards. As a result, we were able to make positive progress out of an unfortunate turn of events, concerning child custody.
When attorney Mathews accepted our case, I honestly must say, the interminable progress up to that point, had brought-on justifiable doubt, of a favorable decision, by the court. With a well informed session of facts and history of our case, attorney Mathews, confided to us, her knowledge of family law, experience and courteous optimism. Her unvarying professionalism, resolute commitment and experience, held true to her word.
In the end, we faired in favor of the court. My beautiful granddaughter will remain in my life and my daughter-in-law can live joyfully, together, as a family; forevermore.

I previously used them because of an attorney who was amazing but she was no longer here and I was in desperate need. I should have waited to find the new firm she was at. My experience with my second lawyer here was beyond disappointing. Pretty much lost my case. I even called to talk to Mark who is a partner here to discuss how disappointed I was with my lawyer. Had my lawyer used the evidence I suggested I think we had a better shot at what I wanted. Don’t use this firm and keep interviewing attorneys that actually care about your lives. One mistake can cost you use case and change your life.

I began working with her through the Hernandez family law and it was the worst decision I ever made. She made me feel like a horrible mother and dad almost got what he wanted because this “attorney” never filed the proper documents to the court. I have used the services of Rich Peters and his colleagues for approximately 18 years. He has (1) secured my legal separation and 18 years later the dissolution of the marriage; (2) successfully defended my stepdaughter in a child custody dispute; and (3) set up a legal guardianship for our granddaughter. In all of these cases, he delivered the results that I expected with professionalism and care. rich peters and his team never fought for me or my family - in fact they were supposed to register a family court order in arizona and never did but still kept collecting my money while arizona NEVER had jurisdiction- a couple of attorneys failed to keep my family safe but the last one Sophia realllllly messed up by not adequately protecting my address from my abuser and stalker - an address that was never meant to be handed over to him - she allowed the judge to mistreat me and did not represent me at all. i even told her things were not being handled properly and she assured me she could do better - she did not. Rich peters has ignored my emails for MONTHS now but still has no problem demanding payment - a payment i will never send - i believe i am owed my money back in FULL - now that you are back in the country mr peters i do expect a reply

I was in the worst kind of trouble possible. My very best friend and I are both veterans. I served in the Marines and he was an Army Ranger. Seems like a reputable law firm with good reviews, however the staff hired is a direct reflection of the company, and their current front desk receptionist Kayla Bates came to my place over the weekend in my parking lot smoking weed and threatening to fight me and asking me if I want to come downstairs and get beat up over a man. I had hired John as my attorney last year (2018) and the way he communicated with me was a cold shoulder feeling, very little interest in my case. Expressing how important the custody of my children were and making sure they were under the best care it didn't seem to phase him. He continued to just express we will see what the court will do. With little to no attempt to make me feel confident about this process, it made it even more stressful. The lack of communication, confidence, and stress that he was going to make this situation worse I had to finally drop my divorce because it seemed no matter what I said it wasn't going to be a high priority. I will be hiring a different attorney who will fight this battle with confidence and not waiting for a judge to do his job.

What we had to do was very hard , John went out of his way to make me see that we had to stand up for our rights and not be bullied by our adult son.
He told us what we could get together ourselves to help keep our cost down with him then he did his own research when he put it all together he had enough that just the show of it scared our son into dropping his case. Then John ask the judge to have our son pay all attorney fee.
John has checked in with us in the days after court. I believe John truly cares about his clients and takes the time to show it.

Terrible law firm. The lawyer I used made frequent mistakes through her staff including: incorrect information communicated in email, needing frequent time line reminders, not remembering important case details, not paying court fees the lawyer was instructed to pay (thus delaying the process), omitting important details in the divorce settlement relating to property settlement allocation and who would retain possession of individual accounts (this resulted in additional paper work filing with financial institutions and unnecessary closing of accounts), alarming and stressing the client due to incorrectly remembering details of the case. These failures resulted in unnecessary delays, created anxiety, and increased fees charged to the client.
