I have been with Ms. Hubbell as my family attorney since November 2003 up to present. Ms. Hubbell is an ethical attorney who responds to my concerns and needs very promptly and effectively, especially during crises. My case consisted of complicated asset division and long, bitter custodial battle. During one court date, Ms. Hubbell was very compelling in every stage. Because of her effectiveness, I had a favorable outcome for the case, which included having the other party pay for my attorney fee. I was fortunate to have Ms. Hubbell, a good communicator who strives for the best results for her client, represent my case. Overall, I am very happy with her work and her care. For those I recommended Ms. Hubbell to as their family attorney, they were also happy with her. As time goes by, I know that I cannot find a better attorney than Ms. Hubbell.

Karen Hubbell provided my husband and I with excellent legal support in finalizing some lingering issues from his previous marriage. I wish he had gone to Karen from the beginning, instead of using a mediator. So many people wanting an amicable divorce shy away from hiring a lawyer, fearing that it will lead to a court battle or cost a ton of money. However, when you have financial entanglements and children involved, it is imperative to seek help from a lawyer who knows the ins and outs of the legal system and can get it done right - the first time around. We found Karen to be very straightforward and understanding of the approach we wanted to take in getting matters resolved. With her help, we were able to finally lay to rest the custody schedule and financial issues that had been dragging on unresolved for three years after his divorce. I only wish we had gone to her sooner. If we ever have any future issues, Karen Hubbell will be the first person we call.

My friend referred me to Arthur as I was struggling in my case. After my first phone call with Arthur, I decided to choose him as my second attorney immediately. My first attorney did not do good job that make me suffering and dragging my case. Instead, Arthur has very good knowledge that helped me a lot. He always explains in very efficient, patient, and clear way that I can understand what my next step is. My case is relatively complicated but Arthur is always responsive and supporting me fully. He is very practical and realistic and easy to communicate that really make my life easier especially in such complicated case. I hired Arthur for an uncontested divorce. His fees were much lower than another attorney I interviewed. He is friendly and easy to talk to and at times would remind me that he would have to charge me for certain tasks that I could do myself and for other time spent not covered under the original quote. He is very responsive and checked up on me when things were stalled (with my spouse). I communicated with him via phone and mostly email which was very convenient. His advice was practical and realistic, not trying to get more money from my spouse for little things which would've costed me more in fees. I would definitely recommend him for an uncontested divorce.

Tracie handled my divorce and custody issues. She is very knowledgeable and professional in the courtroom, being very prepared for any direction the situation might go. I called her and was honest from the beginning that I could not afford her regular fees. I told her that I was just taking a random chance that she may help me as an attorney by taking me on at pro bono or reduced rate. She was super nice . She was talking to me for 30 minutes and empathized with my situation and we laughed about some things we had in common. Before we got off the phone , she told me she’d be in touch shortly to discuss “next steps !” I was very clear with her that I had a hearing later that afternoon and that my case was time sensitive . She said not to worry that she’d help me. I waited and waited - no call. I called her after a few hours , Bht no answer. Finally I ended up going to my hearing , not having heard anything from her at all. I was really taken aback as she assured she’d help me. I called her from my google voice number , wondering if she was avoiding me. Sure enough , she picked up. But what was shocking was she acted like I had done something wrong and acted like I was somehow a random person she’d never

I asked him if the conversation sounded weird or bad as I talked from what he could hear from my end of the call. I was doubting myself with how Julia responded to me as she answered the phone. He said that he didn’t hear anything that sounded
Like a negative conversation and had heard me laughing a few times ( as I had also remembered ).
In any case , I’m not sure if there is an identical twin , an alternate personality or what it was . But her behavior was concerning. She left me hanging after I had counted on her and was waiting for her to follow through. My suspicion is that she communicated with minors counsel on my case, likely violated confidentiality and
Minors counsel has already violated confidentiality by disclosing and sending a previous case we had that was sealed, and sending documents to parties that had no right to view it. She’s under investigation by California bar attorney regulation. I’m reporting Julia to the same board for this. Her lack of professionalism was a hindrance to my case. She didn’t even have the decency to inform me she would not follow through. She instead left me waiting for her, never having the courtesy to let me know so I would not have wasted my time.

My ex filed a restraining order against me based on false claims and somehow the order was erroneously granted by a judge prior to a hearing. I desperately needed a family law firm to help me through this situation as my career had been jeopardized. I decided to call Bressman Family Law after seeing great yelp reviews. While other firms would have assistants call me and give me boilerplate answers to my concerns, Julia was the only one to give me a call directly and give me advice during my free consultation. She immediately started to run through strategic ways she would handle my case. I felt heard. I hired Bressman Family Law firm and in turn was provided with great service by Julia and Andrew. They're both very knowledgeable lawyers and experts in their field. They were aggressive in their tactics and they were able to settle my case outside of court which saved me money in the long run. Julia and Andrew worked outside of regular hours and dedicated a lot of time and effort into my case; sometimes even late into the night. I hope never to have to use them again! But if needed, I know they will get the job done.

I contacted Magdalena Chattopadhya of Magdalena Law Group three years ago as I went about interviewing (5) separate law firms in the San Jose area. My effort was to replace my attorneys at the time related to my family law case that had been in effect for over 10 years. My case was related to a divorce in 2008 where my ex moved to CA and took our two boys with her. The divorce matter was resolved but the custody disputes were ongoing and intense. We never went more than a year without being in the courtroom, where my ex-wife attempted over and over again to reduce my parenting time. When my boys wanted to come and live with me, it hit the fan and an Emergency Screening was ordered. Then, a Parenting Coordinator was assigned. Apparently, a Parenting Coordinator should generally work to reduce issues, but our assigned coordinator did not work fairly. I didn't know what to do and my current attorneys didn't have much to offer. I wanted someone to fiercely represent me and pursue what I knew was right! Magdalena jumped in and had to review over a decade of material and circumstances. I was constantly surprised by how much information she digested and knew without being prompted. Not only did she keep us out of the courtroom for the remainder of time left until my youngest turned 18, but she silenced the efforts of my ex-wife and her attorney and also silenced the Parenting Coordinator who, in my opinion, poorly handled the case and should not serve as such in good faith. Magdalena herself helped me to do exactly what was needed in order to prevail. Even when I would be exasperated over the ridiculousness and contentiousness of the PC, OP, and my ex-wife, she assured me that if I followed her counsel, we would prevail - and we did! Had I remained with my former counsel or selected anyone else, I could not imagine having survived the legal attacks as I did. If you're looking for someone who won't "blow sunshine" and instead, give it to you straight and compel you to understand, Magdalena Law Group is THE choice. As an aside, everything with her office is smooth. Payments, documentation support, meetings, etc., - the team at Magdalena Law Group is smart, quick to act, and at your service, as they were at mine. I am beyond grateful for the services rendered and recommend Magdalena Law Group as they were the best family law representation I had - totaling 5 other firms!

Sandy has worked on 2 divorces for me. She'll be working on my prenup first if I ever marry again!
The first case she gave me such comfort because we could work together in her office and it did not seem like such a mystery. She was tough and effective. The other attorney had to step off the case after Sandy pointed out some questionable antics. Tough and knowledgeable. Comforting and honest.
The second case the other attorney seemed to be snowing us with paperwork to bring up their clients bill. I could see it and thought the OTHER SIDE was sloppy, dishonest, and ineffective in comparison to Sandy. Sandy is accurate, honest and effective.

Sent these guys a very detailed email with all the facts regarding my labor law case. They scheduled a zoom call following a few calls. Spoke with a person (not sure if a real attorney or not) named "Frank Zecolla" for an HOUR over zoom and agreed to send him evidence supporting my case. After sending him all the evidence requested they simply GHOSTED ME! Sent several follow up emails, called and left several voicemails and NOTHING, NO RESPONSE, NO COMMUNICATION, NO COURTESY CALL...
They Simply GHOSTED a possible client. Glad it didn't go beyond that. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and speaks VOLUMES on how this "firm" practices law.

Sent these guys a very detailed email with all the facts regarding my labor law case. They scheduled a zoom call following a few calls. Spoke with a person (not sure if a real attorney or not) named "Frank Zecolla" for an HOUR over zoom and agreed to send him evidence supporting my case. After sending him all the evidence requested they simply GHOSTED ME! Sent several follow up emails, called and left several voicemails and NOTHING, NO RESPONSE, NO COMMUNICATION, NO COURTESY CALL...

We had such a horrible experience with this Counselor. She is always asks for cash and meets at strange places! I gave her $2000 , she never completed the case, and gets extremely aggressive and angry when I followed up! I then started to worry about this and did some research on her. She was previously a Pole Dancer at a nightclub ! Wow! No wonder she exhibits this weird and strange behavior, I wonder how she handles her other cases. My money went down the drain!
