EDIT AFTER OWNER PATHETIC RESPONSE: I am reviewing the right person. This is Madan that had his license suspended in 2005. He failed to submit immigration paperwork for a client and the client got deported. Another client didn’t get his immigration paperwork approved and Madan failed to update his client on his immigrant status. Madan was defending someone that wanted to pay less child support, Madan submitted paperwork asking for a 14y/o take take care of 2 young children 50hrs/week while also attending HS all so his client will pay less, his client ended up paying MORE than when he went in lol. There are MANY cases of malpractice by this guy and I refuse to let him gaslight or bully me into believing this isn’t the same guy. Just recently a former client of his found a new legal team because Madan is INCOMPETENT and SHADY.
PLEASE DO RESEARCH ON THIS GUY. He lost his license for a year for malpractice AND he had a DV (Domestic Violence) case against him! He’s definitely also a traditional guy. So if you or your loved ones identify as LGBTQ+, please RUN FAR AWAY FROM HIM. There is an evil aura to him and you can just see the $$ signs on his eyes. This guy definitely protects/is on the side of defendants. If you know you’re a good person with no ill intentions, please find yourself someone else. This guys SHOULD NOT HAVE A LICENSE TO PRACTICE.

Where do I start. I was going through a bad divorce and had lost all hope of having any sort of custody of my only son. Magdalena Chattopadhya was my third lawyer and I do not know why I met her. I just had a feeling that I should meet her as a last resort. And boy did she exceed my expectations. In the first meeting itself, she assured me that she’ll do the best she can for me. Although, she didn’t promise anything but kinda said what might be the outcome of the case if I had her on board. She’s an absolute gem of a lawyer and has so much knowledge about the family law cases and commands respect in the San Jose family court circle. She has a very pleasing personality and even though her fees are kinda on the higher side but she never charges a penny extra and is very cognizant of her client’s time and money. Legal issues can be daunting. Often we are in need of representation when one is at their low. Especially regarding matters that carry so much emotion. This was my state of mind while facing child custody proceedings and financial support struggles. When under the influence of such high stress and emotion, you need a clear thinking representative that is capable of systematically engineering a plan of action. An attorney who can draw on years of experience and is able to lay out a roadmap. Only then can one begin to see a path toward liberation. What I have found is that it's best to get out in front, take in on and face the challenges with grit. If you procrastinate, you give others the ability to create the narrative and gain advantage. I found Magdalena to be a most wonderful advocate. She was a voice of comfort and reason within a very dynamic and emotional set of circumstances. Mr. Ajlouny was beyond professional. He was able to explain the process, strategy of how he will be able to get my case dropped, and gather all necessary documentation right away. Edward. The bottom line - within next two weeks if you don’t meet me for the trial results - I will have the full right to leave you a truthful review here. I will also file the complaint with the State of Bar and file for malpractice.
Edward Ajlouny claimed himself being very experienced in his field and failed my case completely- he didn’t do any discovery, didn’t submit any documents to the court, didn’t subpoena the documents he supposed to get for the court, he didn’t explain the laws. He charged money and never returned anything. He was constantly on vacations. Then he said these cases are not appealable and I filed for the appeal. After he didn’t want to give the case materials and go over the trial results -
The appeal is not a new trial - what I have now on the appeal is your work I will have to go over.
I respect my time and efforts. I am also a lawyer. As a fact, you didn’t do your job for my case. You have two weeks since today - if you don’t comply with the laws, I will do what I said.

We had such a horrible experience with this Counselor. She is always asks for cash and meets at strange places! I gave her $2000 , she never completed the case, and gets extremely aggressive and angry when I followed up! I then started to worry about this and did some research on her. She was previously a Pole Dancer at a nightclub ! Wow! No wonder she exhibits this weird and strange behavior, I wonder how she handles her other cases. My money went down the drain! I called her and was honest from the beginning that I could not afford her regular fees. I told her that I was just taking a random chance that she may help me as an attorney by taking me on at pro bono or reduced rate. She was super nice . She was talking to me for 30 minutes and empathized with my situation and we laughed about some things we had in common. Before we got off the phone , she told me she’d be in touch shortly to discuss “next steps !” I was very clear with her that I had a hearing later that afternoon and that my case was time sensitive . She said not to worry that she’d help me. I waited and waited - no call. I called her after a few hours , Bht no answer. Finally I ended up going to my hearing , not having heard anything from her at all. I was really taken aback as she assured she’d help me. I called her from my google voice number , wondering if she was avoiding me. Sure enough , she picked up. But what was shocking was she acted like I had done something wrong and acted like I was somehow a random person she’d never

Minors counsel has already violated confidentiality by disclosing and sending a previous case we had that was sealed, and sending documents to parties that had no right to view it. She’s under investigation by California bar attorney regulation. I’m reporting Julia to the same board for this. Her lack of professionalism was a hindrance to my case. She didn’t even have the decency to inform me she would not follow through. She instead left me waiting for her, never having the courtesy to let me know so I would not have wasted my time.

My ex filed a restraining order against me based on false claims and somehow the order was erroneously granted by a judge prior to a hearing. She immediately started to run through strategic ways she would handle my case. I felt heard. I hired Bressman Family Law firm and in turn was provided with great service by Julia and Andrew. They're both very knowledgeable lawyers and experts in their field. They were aggressive in their tactics and they were able to settle my case outside of court which saved me money in the long run. Julia and Andrew worked outside of regular hours and dedicated a lot of time and effort into my case; sometimes even late into the night. I hope never to have to use them again! But if needed, I know they will get the job done.

I hired Ms McManus and am extremely happy I did so! She is very sweet and compassionate as well as aggressive! My first meeting with Sandy lasted almost an hour and she didn't even charge me! I read her reviews and have to disagree with a prior review saying their case went on forever. Courts only address so much at each hearing which was not her fault. The first case she gave me such comfort because we could work together in her office and it did not seem like such a mystery. She was tough and effective. The other attorney had to step off the case after Sandy pointed out some questionable antics. Tough and knowledgeable. Comforting and honest.
The second case the other attorney seemed to be snowing us with paperwork to bring up their clients bill. I could see it and thought the OTHER SIDE was sloppy, dishonest, and ineffective in comparison to Sandy. Sandy is accurate, honest and effective.

I deeply regret my decision to hire this law firm to represent me in court, as they failed to fulfill their duties. Initially, they demanded a retainer fee of $5,000, which they quickly depleted within a month without any tangible progress. To make matters worse, they then requested additional funds. It took them two weeks after our initial meeting to even file the necessary documents stating that they were my attorneys, and even that was the extent of their efforts in court. If it were possible, I would rate this firm with negative scores. I strongly advise against wasting your time with them, as all the positive reviews are deceitful. This firm should be permanently closed down and prohibited from assisting anyone. I simply needed one task accomplished for my divorce, but instead, they consumed all the retainer fees by excessively communicating through emails and phone calls, which proved to be fruitless. I find myself in the exact same situation as when I first started, having wasted an entire month that I can never retrieve.
It is crucial to seek out genuine lawyers rather than unscrupulous individuals.
