This was after being told they would, with a full explanation of how things would proceed, the cost breakdown, and an agreement to not have contact in regards to this case with anyone outside of the Puget Law Group.

Will Reingold was one of the attorneys who represented me in my divorce. Will’s overall attentiveness to the case and its myriad of deadlines demonstrated a high degree of detail-orientation that was incredibly reassuring during a very difficult period. It was a contentious case in which many motions were filed by both parties, which meant a lot of legal writing had to be done. Will’s writing was unfailingly crisp, concise (while still comprehensive), and persuasive. Through his writing I could tell how seriously he took my case, and how much he cared about the way his rhetoric would put me in a position to achieve a positive outcome. Additionally, the speed with which Will was able to produce incredibly well-written artifacts was equally impressive. If you are looking for someone to do excellent work for you, you will be hard pressed to find a better writer than Will.

Always there to answer any and all question even after 2 years he was there to take time for follow up questions. with an Attorney like Mr Trombold you will be sure that he will follow through with your case and be there has you need. life will some times give you a twist and its a great felling to have someone that wont judge and will work with you and be there, with the monthly payments it made the whole experience less stressful.

Margaret and her paralegal are either sick. Their family is sick or they are out of time for long periods of time. They both have random phone numbers that they call you with one of them always says unknown. They want to meet with you for four hours at time to review things that have already been discussed at meetings prior. I have not had one invoice from Margaret Fitzpatrick that states where my $10,000 went. When I asked for an invoice, she said that they always send them on the first of the month. Why couldn’t she just send me an invoice at that time? Scary. I have been scammed. I received notice from my ex-husband‘s attorney that she is not representing me. I’ve tried to contact all of the telephone numbers that I have that came from Margaret or her paralegal. I have not received any response though she is my acting attorney for the next 13 days. I called their office and I was hung up on.. I placed a review not less than five minutes ago and it was taken off. I am definitely going to be seeking legal retribution and keep my review posted even if I have to continue to post it every two minutes. They claimed they have clear communication and empathy to relieve your fears and anxiety on their website, but that is the complete opposite from the truth. I beg you do not go here. You will be told to do a whole bunch of things that traditionally are needed but when you send these items via email, they will come back and say to you, they did not receive them. Margaret typically will say she did not receive them because her paralegal is sick. I was on the phone for three hours, explaining that I had already sent all the information she was saying I did not send. I resent the emails that I sent her while we were on the phone. When I looked back at my emails, they were proved to have been sent to her originally. I have all of my emails still and every single message from this office stating my facts above to be true. I hope you read this for your mental and physical health. Do not go here!!

I found Kathryn through a friend. I had already made several calls looking for an attorney to help me through what I was sure would be a difficult divorce. All the calls I made we met with “this is what we charge an hour” and then the touting of all their accomplishments. With Kathryn the first words I heard were of compassion for both myself and my children. In our first meeting she patiently and knowledgeably answered all of my questions and I trusted her almost immediately. The divorce went as expected and she kept me on track with both a sense of humor and by telling me the truth whether I wanted to hear it or not. It’s not something I would want to go through again, but if I do I know who to call.

Natalie took over our case from another lawyer in her firm who retired. It was a scary scenario for us, but Natalie jumped in like she’d been there the whole time. Our case file was over 1000 pages and very very complicated. She communicated clearly and LISTENED to our concerns to advocate for the best possible outcome. Even after our complicated custody case was finalized, it was followed by a relocation which Natalie navigated intelligently to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted move despite a very difficult ex attempting to use any excuse to delay the inevitable. Natalie really handled our case with care and we are very appreciative of her attentiveness and understanding. Hillary was transferred onto my divorce case 6 months in, and we were quickly able to build a trusted relationship that allowed me to feel safe, seen, and heard. My feelings were validated through the entire process and she held space for me as best as she could.

I wanted to share that the experience I had with the view ridge law- more specifiacally with the attorny Elaina T. was far from well. I had to end my session with her early and request my money back. I paid her to help me and instead she spent time telling me why I couldnt get what I wanted and defending the other party. I also found out she did not read all the paperwork I sent in which she claimed was irrelevant to the case which was entirely unture. I was shocked at the lack of professionalism and care that was given to me. Our meeting was not recorded so I was not able to prove that way she was speaking to me to her superiors. The only positive that came from this was that the office did refund me my money. I lost out on a very timely situation due to their lack of attention.

Refused to use evidence, exhibits and witnesses that could have and should have slammed shut my case on an abusive and Narcissistic ex-wife. He talks a big game yet doesn't use the tools or evidence at his disposal to hammer it in.

David Kitchell was retained several years ago for a complex relocation case that spanned a lot of court activity, depositions, mediation, and arbitration sessions. David was prompt in his communication, did absolutely everything I expected and hoped for, and the outcome was in my favor. He is highly experienced and professionally firm in upholding our position. He has done an absolutely fantastic job at representing my point of view and that of my family. This case had a lot of curveballs but none posed a problem for David.
It was bitter-sweet asking Mr. Kitchell to withdraw as it has been a pleasure working with him (And his paralegal, Kim). Kim is an amazing paralegal that kept me up to date on everything, was prompt in getting things filed, copies issued, and when David was out for trials or otherwise unavailable, coordinated with partners to get prompt responses.
Not only do I highly recommend David, I have already referred a couple friends his way with custody matters. My only regret is that I hadn't hired him sooner, and instead went through several "high power" firms before landing on David.

Beware of bait and switch tactics used by this firm and Christopher Pitts. I recently was involved in a divorce/CIR settlement and, after a phone interview process, hired Christopher Pitts to represent me. I signed off on the agreement to have him represent me, and was immediately handed off to one of the firms more junior attorneys. No mention from the firm that I would not be working directly with Mr. Pitts, who I had hired. I asked why I wasn't talking directly to Mr Pitts, or ever hearing from him regarding my case, and was told that in the early stages it was less expensive to work with a more junior, less expensive attorney. However, this never changed. I never heard from Mr Pitts, not once, during the entire 6 month long process. Only that when I first heard from the more junior attorney, she told me she would be 'assisting' Mr. Pitts. I paid her to help me and instead she spent time telling me why I couldnt get what I wanted and defending the other party. I also found out she did not read all the paperwork I sent in which she claimed was irrelevant to the case which was entirely unture. I was shocked at the lack of professionalism and care that was given to me. Our meeting was not recorded so I was not able to prove that way she was speaking to me to her superiors. There is no way around it, divorce sucks and so does the family court system. My spouse and I split because she "wasn't in love anymore". When I wouldn't give her everything, accusations of all types of abuse were made. Three different trials in three different cities. Lucky was first my criminal defense attorney that eventually took over the divorce side. the two+ years was long. I thought it would never end. Having so much emotion, I wasn't always rational. Lucky took over. We succeeded on all trials (one didn't even make it to the actual trial because the Prosecuting attorney had no case and bluffed they're way thru always trying to get me to plead out). It is sad that false accusers have no repercussions in family court. Lucky made sure everything was done and because of the history of questionable (false) accusations, he made sure there were certain things written to protect me from future issues. If it wasn't for him, I probably would have no contact with my kids. Seven years later, the kids now live with me. Thank you Lucky!

I had a very complicated divorce, and was in a situation that I had an immediate need to hire a lawyer and file for divorce in the middle of a busy summer weekend. Very disappointed with Elise Buie Family Law. I prepaid $2,500 for a prenup, and I was forced to cancel due to emergency repairs on a property I own. I spoke with Kathryn Silk for 30 minutes (Elise and Kathryn were both late for their appointments) just to get things started and she told me she had jury duty and would not start my case for another week or so. I canceled the very next day and they hit me with a $690 bill and refunded $1810. It was in the contract that they charge $350 to set up a client, so thought I would get $2,150 back. They did absolutely nothing except for a 30 minute call and charged $690. Elise initially told me she would have one of the paralegals/assistants do most of the work to keep my costs down, then she has Kathryn do the work who charges $340/hr (assistants charge $150-215/hr). I am glad I did not proceed with them. There is no doubt in my mind now that they were going to hit me with another huge bill at the end saying something along the lines of "your case took a lot more time than expected. You owe another $2,000." They are dishonest, unethical people here at Elise Buie Family Law.
