A few years back, my wife and I had an unfortunate situation that required us to get an attorney to help resolve a situation in which we wronged. Nate did an amazing job getting us what we deserved. He was a true pleasure to work with and a brilliant lawyer.

When looking for a lawyer to represent you, you more than likely start by reading their reviews first, if you weren’t referred by a friend that is. But let’s be honest, when trying to find a lawyer who “fits the bill” you’ll come across some good reviews, and that one GREAT one that more than likely seals the deal! So you book the appointment and take a chance.
This is THAT REVIEW. When I first had the pleasure of speaking with Mr. Murphy I was extremely nervous. I had never sought out legal council before and I had no idea what I was doing, where to start, or even what to ask. From the moment I walked in the door he assured me that all of my questions and concerns would be addressed. Not only did I feel comfortable that he was knowledgeable to handle my case, but he was professional and patient in taking the time to make sure he didn’t miss any details or leave any question I had unanswered, no matter how many times I asked.
As my divorce case progressed there were several occasions that would presume difficult when dealing with the defendant. During this time Mr. Murphy made sure that he not only represented my best interests, but also the best interests of my children.
He was very prompt to inform me of any changes, document updates, court dates, etc. as well as responding to my phone calls and emails. I never felt left in the dark about where my case was, or what was happening next.

I consulted with 15 lawyers and hired 2 two lawyers prior to finding Mr. Forman. Not only was he able to finally put an end to my horrific 2.5 year divorce case, but he did it quickly and at a fraction of the cost. He is a man of few words and a man of action. He was extremely accessible and shattered the norm for how poorly my previous lawyers treated me. Mr. Forman spotted helpful issues that my other attorneys didn’t, and he strategized in a way that moved my case forward quickly, negotiating a settlement offer I am extremely happy with. I had no idea where to start during my separation. Mr. Frazier assisted me over the phone with a free consultation and told me what steps I would need to take in order to start getting child support etc and how I would need to take action for the divorce. He was very reasonable as he does more of a flat rate charge than hourly. Separation and divorce can be a stressful thing and he helps with monthly payments to take financial stress away. Anytime I needed guidance I was able to text him and get a quick response. He was very pleasant and understanding. He tries to end your case as quickly as he can.

Dorchester County - It has been three and a half years since my divorce. My son is now five and a half years old and his father started coming around less than a year ago. He was non-existent for years.
I did a good bit of leg work back in 2017/pre-divorce and Atty. Rudolf made it easier for me to put everything on paper. My ex-husband is a very intelligent, highly functioning, narcissistic individual who can convince almost anyone. Charming and articulate, of which I am the opposite. I feared that I was not going to be good enough to represent myself and/or have someone represent on my behalf and what I want for my children (peace, sanity and freedom from mental and emotional abuse and alcoholic environment) but I was blessed enough to select the right lawyer to represent me and understand what is best for me and my kids.

That’s what I thought about the service rendered by Andrea B Williams. I was in a unique situation and she worked to determine what was needed to resolve my case. She approached every angle to make sure every question or requirement would be addressed. My unmarried daughter died of COVID after delivering a newborn infant by an emergency c-section. The expectation was to be in sedation on the ventilator until are lungs were stronger. She was never able to sign to get the birth certificate and name the father of the child. Neither the father nor myself was able to apply for the birth certificate. Andrea made certain that an emergency hearing was set and we were granted a final hearing at that time so that benefits could begin. She was stern and straightforward and communicated with me to keep me informed. She was also very affordable for the amount of time dedicated to this case. Last year I was involved in a case with DSS and I decided to hire Mary Lee Briggs as my attorney. The whole process extended for a year and half but she made sure to keep my mind at ease at all times. John Holland was great from the beginning. With him being my 3rd lawyer on my case. Needless to say future lawyers, at the time of contact, weren't to interested in taking a case two other lawyers have been removed, fired, from. John listened to what I had to say and the problems I was having with previous lawyers. He was the only lawyer that "didn't" tell me, right from the start, "Oh, a father getting full custody of his young child is NOT likely to happen in the State of SC. " But of course they would do all they could and take my case. Leading absolutely no where. Then I met John Holland. I honestly don't believe he believed much of what I had to say. After all, I had already gone through 2 attorneys. He was straight up and let me know that if what I was telling him was on the up and up he would take the case. As time went by it was obvious that what I had been saying was true. John gave me the benefit of the doubt and worked extremely hard on my case. Never once mentioning in "SC Father's don't get custody". Well I'm hear to tell all the Father's out there, don't buy into the hype. Great lawyers can achieve great things. Took 6 years total. The last couple years with John fighting for me. As of July 29, 2022 I am happy to say I have full custody of my son. If your a Father that believes you should have custody of your children then fight for that. If you decide to fight, especially in SC, than you'll need a great attorney. John Holland is your man. If you don't give up than John won't either.

I was in need of a divorce attorney. This web site and a google search led me to Robert Reeves law firm and Mr. Cody Burgin. I come from a culturally different background and this would play a very important part in my divorce. Mr. Burgin was extremely professional and respected this making me feel understood and comfortable. He was always calm , very well prepared, honest and kept me grounded in my expectations regarding the outcome of the divorce. He never gave me any false hopes. He was very prompt in his responses to every one of my questions(believe me I had an expansive list ) at any given time of the day. My situation was very different in the sense that I was on the other side of the country, yet he worked with me very patiently with all the constraints.
I have heard of horror stories about people's experiences with divorce attorneys which made me very apprehensive. But Mr. Burgin never once gave me any instance to doubt him or his intentions with regards to my best interests as his client.
Two months after the divorce was finalized, I ran into a problem. I hesitantly(I was no longer his client) contacted Mr. Burgin to ask for his advice. For two days straight, he helped me through it and brought a swift end to the problem, which, without his help would have dragged on for a long time.

Mr. Hall was one of the few divorce attorneys who politely answered every question I had during our conversation over the phone. He was concise, and more importantly not once was he condescending like many of the other attorneys I contacted previously.
