Used this office to close on a piece of property with Remax/professionals. Kelsey was our realtor & she was great. Unfortunately the lawyers office was very unprofessional and had a major lack of communication. We signed our paper work, got money sent over and they said our deed had to be sent from the seller through the mail. We were never notified that the seller wasn’t even going to be there. Rosalind lied about the tracking on our package. Did not communicate and make us feel comfortable as first time buyers. Not to mention the Lawyer himself is very arrogant. Overall would not recommend this business to handle your legal work. Rosalind should be ashamed. My time is more valuable.

Ben Stevens is an excellent attorney. I sought Ben’s representation several years ago. My situation was quite complex. It involved issues such as clearly outlining custody/visitation arrangements, child support, and harassment.
Ben proved himself to be extremely professional. He did a great job of helping to find creative solutions. I am writing this review on behalf of my sister, Christine Walker, who was poorly represented by Makenzie. She accepted a fee to do legal work-and did absolutely nothing-yet, she claims that my sister has an outstanding balance. As a newly appointed attorney, why would Makenzie accept a case she is not professionally competent to handle. This child custody case was too complicated for her to handle. My sister was totally misrepresented. Honestly, this kind egregious representation was definitely racially motivated. Purposely not keeping my sister informed about her case, being dishonest and dismissive, and lastly demanding money for doing absolutely nothing. Elizabeth Height is to blame as well. Why would she allow Makenzie to handle such a complicated case? I am helping my sister to file a complaint with the SC Bar.

Elizabeth form the moment I met with her was understanding and sympathetic to my situation which was WAY beyond a normal divorce in terms of the things my ex-husband was doing ( think lifetime movie kind of secrets). I instantly bonded with her during my initial consult. It was the most difficult and uneasy time of my life for me personally. She was absolutely wonderful! She is quick, sharp, extremely smart and doesn't miss a beat. I know I probably was not the easiest client as I have a hard time waiting for news. She understood my pain and I believe used it to fight for me on my behalf. I know she moved things along very quickly for me. One of the most impressive things about Liz is that while she was empathetic and kind during our initial consultation, I could also tell that there was a very powerful fire in her along with wisdom and intelligence. I was turned away by 3 different big name law firms that you see on those tv commercials because they stated I was too young (33). One even told me if I was his age they’d give it to me in a heart beat with my conditions. Boy am I glad they turned me away because I did a quick google search and found this law firm. Best decision I ever made. Mr. Milton English took my case, he never questioned my age. He never once made me doubt that I would get it because of my age. He got to work. Anna was my paralegal through my appeals process and she was great, answered every email and question I had and never made me feel like I was bothering her because I know I sent a lot of emails checking up on my case. I’m so grateful for these people because now i can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Mr. Milton English prepared me well and told me what to expect from my hearing. He got me approved. It’s going to be great to be able to catch up on bills and provide for my family again. Thank you to the best disability law firm ever.

“Life is short. Get a divorce.” So says the billboard for this firm off the highway. This seems an unwise perspective to take on a procedure that tears so many lives apart. I have seen the disclaimer that they give, claiming that they do not advocate for divorce, but the firm has not denied ownership of the billboard to my knowledge, and thus the claim is simply untrue.

I called Seretta for my daughter before paying the retainer. I wanted to know if she was familiar with dealing with a Narcisisst. She assured she was well aware of the personality defect. My daughter needed modifications to the original Court Order due to many many violations of the Oder by the Defendant. Absolutely nothing was done but another Court Order stating everything in the original order must be abided by, which was basically no change. We were charged a healthy retainer and after the Court Order, got another bill for more charges. I would have reported her to the bar for charging so much for doing little to nothing, but she has not enforced the additional bill. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. I had allot of faith in her. I believe if you know anything about a Narcisisst, there is absolutely nothing that comes out if their mouths that is the truth, they are the world's best at manipulation and they will falsly build themselves up to make the other person look bad. It appears he did a goid job if thus yo his attorney and that attorney carried the Narcisisst traits over to Syretta.

I was referred to the Finkel Law Firm, specifically Dylan Glick by the SC Lawyer Referral Service. I was scheduled with an appointment for 10/3/24 @ 9am which was a 3 week wait. I called at 9:05 am since no one had contacted me. I was told I was Mr. Glick was tied up on another call, then I was told Mr. Glick does not have me on his schedule. I was put on hold yet again and another person came on telling me my appointment was at 2pm and she never schedules consults for early morning! I'm not really certain why I was treated this way; however, it's absolutely unacceptable. Perhaps because I was referred by the SC Lawyer Referral Service and they discount their fee for the initial consultation. I did reach back out to the SC Lawyer Referral Service to file a complaint and also to find a different attorney for my specific need!

Pam was very professional in assisting me with my entire divorce process. Mr Fowler did a terrible job handling my case. He was my "legal counsel" for 6 months and strung me along. It's unbelievable how bad it was. It wasn't a difficult case but he waited months to file any action after he told me he was going to do it and convinced me that he know what to do. Month went by, I would call and email and get no response many times. I never once spoke to him on the phone the whole time. It was obvious by his emails he wasn't paying attention to the importance of my case or details as he didn't know the details of the issue and I needed to keep reexplaining things. He was stop lazy to go back and read my emails. In the end he just didn't feel like showing I'm up to court and dismissed himself from my case the day before I need his assistance in a hearing. I got a letter the day before the hearing telling me I'm terminated and I should look for legal council for my hearing which was tomorrow. He completely screwed me over and I had my license suspended for 6 months because of him. In the end I handled it myself, no thanks to him. I couldn't believe the unprofessionalism and uncaring attitude. Never answering my questions and even ignoring them. He paid himself upfront. Just was such a horrible experience. I feel completely Scammed. I had never been treated like that by anyone in the past.

I've hired Haley multiple times, first for a difficult divorce and again for a custody battle. I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again, she always responds in a timely manner. She is direct & lays out the good/ bad . She has always given me proper legal advice and we haven't lost in court yet. She cares about her clients and really does guide them in a difficult time. Her staff is kind, compassionate and they have even followed up/ checked in with me on weekends. She is always prompt for appointments and doesn't keep you waiting . I don't wish a difficult legal battle on anyone but let the Harden's deal with it so you can focus on other things.

I had spent 6 solid years in family court over child custody and related issues. I had used prior respected legal counsel. I used my life savings being in court constantly instead of working to provide real solutions to end all legal matters that were in the best interest of our child and to provide a final Order that both me and my ex-spouse could live with and begin to co-parent.

Hired Parker to settle a construction dispute. She gave hourly fee and retainer if it went to court. After a initial contact with the contractor’s lawyer, she promptly disappeared from contact. Calls and emails went unanswered and office contacts with receptionist resulted in no information or contact. After 7-10 days, she contacted us, said she had taken a fall and injured herself. We made an offer to settle the case though her to the contactor.
After an email several days later saying the contractor did not accept, we asked if she was willing to go to court. No response. Days latter, we tried to contact again with same question. Next response that came two days later was she would be willing to refer us to another lawyer as she had hoped it could be settled without litigation.
Why tell us retainer fee for court if she was not going to court over the case?

I contracted her in a divorce case and she said she would file a motion to block sale of property didnt do anything they want answer the phone, if your leave a message they dont call you back, she left town on two different times for a month at a time. I lost 3 harleys and a GMC Terrain because I put rust in her and she didnt do a thing that she said she would do. Stay way clear of the art. Real bad. And the last thing I had was a 1/2 a house and she told me I'd need another att for that.. and still have got a refund yet..... STAY CLEAR

Hired Derrick for divorce.
You can’t get hold of her unless she wants to talk to you and if she can’t get in touch with you she will drop you.
I have yet to receive any type of statement or invoice of hours charged for my case and I asked several times with no solution and no answer as to why?
Ms. Derrick was more help to my exes case than mine. She has a problem with client confidentiality.
I do not recommend Julaan Derrick as a lawyer.
