Attorney Patrick Jennings handled my divorce case. My case was very complex. There were frequent changes and dishonesty from the other party. Patrick always had a strategic plan for any situation given to us. His advice helped keep me calm and he kept me focused. I recommend him for any divorce case and especially if there is children involved.

Josh was my first call when my family went through a difficult time. Not only did I know too but everyone I knew said you need to call Josh. From start to finish, he worked hard and delivered clarity for us. In my mind, got us the best deal for our father we were gonna get. Made time for us not matter what and showed he truly cared about my fathers case. Even after all was said and done, he stayed in touch with myself and family to answer any questions that came up. Cleghorn's lies start in her add 1. Free consultation, she billed me for it, 2. Accepts easy payments via credit card, but demands cash and will hinder your case until she counts out the cash.
She ignores all calls, does not take initiative and is not a lawyer you want to hand your life over to. I fired her and in retaliation she gouged be for $3000.00 billing be $300.00 an hour just on drive time to Waukesha Court, she never filed a single motion nor made a single call to me or anyone else. I currently have an active complaint against her with the Office of Lawyer Regulations and I am preparing a legal mal-practice suit because I sat in jail for 4 days because she failed to advise me of a court time, I had mixed up and I only live 5 minutes from court. Do not hire this woman, go with a public defender, same performance without the gouging legal bill.

I hired Kerri as my attorney pertaining to my son and his visitation with his father. I had previously worked in the courts and when chosing my attorney I thought about who I least liked being opposed to. Kerri was that person. I hated being opposite her, not because she was bad, but the exact opposite. Kerri knows law. She fights for people. She is good at her job. She also did a great job of helping me look at things through the eyes of a court, not just the eyes of an emotional mom.....so that we could make rational and productive points. While I hope to never need her services again, I would retain again hands down, if needed.

Peggy Miller should not be a court commissioner. She knows nothing about how abuse works and is not qualified to be deciding people's lives. I told her how I was beaten up, attacked, threatened, abused. Her and the man who had an expensive lawyer made fun and laughed at me. She turned 8 years worth of abuse into a joke, and let him abuse me more than I could take. I told her I could not take any more, but she couldn't care less about a woman's life. I said I would pay for lie detector tests for the both of us. She said they wouldn't be admissable as evidence. I said no, but when I pass and he fails it will be a good indicator of who is telling the truth! Now there will be consequences to letting him take my life away.

I was going through a custody battle for my daughter. Before she was born I already knew court was the only way we were going to settle this. I was researching and talking to many people about who is the best family court attourney in wisconsin and multiple people told me Peggy Miller. I made the phone call aand talked to attourney Miller then we sat down and talked. She told me from the beginning exactly the approach we would take ans everything we could make happen. I was very confident in what she told me when i left her office and already had my mind made up she was the attourney for us. Long story short everything Peggy told me would happen the first day i met with her and she made it happen almost just as easy. I got everything i wanted out of this case and i now have my daughter! My ex girlfriend went through 2 attourneys with this case and Peggy handled them with no issues what so ever. Im glad to have her on my side. Working against Peggy would have been a nightmare! As far as communication goes shes second to none. Anytime of day i could email her and she would get back to me almost immediatly. It didnt matter if it was 8 oclock on a wednesday morning or 9 oclock on a friday night the response was almost instant. Peggy is hands down worth every dollar spend and I feel very fortunate to have her on our side! If your going through a family or custody battle she is the attorney for you! You wont be let down!

Attorney Beddigs was upfront and honest about the challenges I faced in my custody case. Everyone I spoke to told me that it was virtually impossible to change primary placement from a mother to a father in the state of WI (especially since said father resided in another state). Attorney Beddigs and her staff were always available whenever any questions or concerns came up. I always received a response in a reasonable time. I could not have asked for a better representative inside and outside the courtroom. Nicole is sharp, knowledgeable, well-informed, compassionate and TOUGH. Because of Nicole and staff's diligence I, the father, was awarded primary placement. The children now reside with me several states away. I know this nearly impossible feat would not have been possible without Nicole and her staff. I cannot recommend Attorney Beddigs enough. Is she an inexpensive attorney? No. Was she worth every penny? Absolutely. I did not feel nickeled and dimed and was well-informed how funds were being used. I am thankful that I found Nicole and her staff, I feel certain my case could have gone a completely different way without them. If you need a divorce/child custody attorney, do yourself a favor: hire Attorney Beddigs.

Nicole is the first lawyer I've ever had. I hired Nicole honestly because I thought she was nice and friendly and not because I did research and read reviews. Lesson learned. A few papers filed and one court appearance later all of my $1500 retainer is used up. Really? She charged me $50 every time I called the office and other than the free consultation I never spoke to her personally again just office assistants. I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone and advise people to do better research than what I did. I would rather have a tenacious troll represent me any day than a pretty face with an empty head.

His office filed some paperwork incorrectly, using the wrong names. He was not as prompt as previous attorneys at getting back to me. At times he would give me one answer and then later say something different. I have to say his price was reasonable. If you have an easy case he can probably handle it.

Dave handled post-custodial/placement issues for our two daughters. After we have dealt with 'big shots', this was quite a different experience as far as personal care and personal attention. Meanwhile quality of service, including the court room, did not suffer a bit and was on par, if not better of other attorneys. We did not have to wait days/weeks at a time for a call back or reply - it was almost instantaneous. Even if the answer was not immediately there, the acknowledgment on the inquiry was. When a sensitive case, such as ours - packed with emotions and sudden developments started to unwrap - we were glad Dave was sitting next to us in court and was the attorney on the other end of a telephone. Lastly, and that might be surprise to some future clients - this one does NOT nickle and dime you to death just to blow through your retainer. In other words, he also respects her hard earned money and time.

Attorney Kevin Dunn did an amazing job in my child custody battle. Kevin made himself available at all times. Kevin never gave up on me or my son. Because of Kevin, my son has a better life. Atty Dunn was appointed to my paternity case to evaluate the best custody and placement arrangement for our infant. This was an incredibly stressfull and very uncertain time in my life. Atty Dunn was very professional, and handled this case with sensitivity and discretion.

This lawyer is lazy and is part of the good old boys club! I hired this lawyer to handle a child custody and divorce case simultaneously. He often lost information that was given to him several times and came to court unprepared. He also mentioned details from other individuals cases which I thought was highly unethical, especially since they were people that I was familiar with. I wasted thousands of dollars on this attorney only to end up terminating him and going with another lawyer to get results. If you are looking for a stand up attorney who cares about his cases, look elsewhere. Don't waste your time!

Paul Christensen helped me with my divorce, as well getting sole custody of my son. He is very professional and actually listens and cares about you. When going for a termination of divorce maintenance attorney Babcock seemed over booked or too busy to prepare for the hearing . I had to call to setup the final meeting before court. I also compiled relevant information on my disabilities and finances. When the court hearing day arrived he told the judge why I was asking for a termination he said health issues and then stopped talking. I did ask him to ask the judge the questions I formulated as well as present data I provided . He told me to stop talking . The judge dismissed it and I am now facing financial difficulties with disabilities. After we walked out he told to stop talking to during a hearing . He did put up a much better job of debating me outside the court room (about nudging him to talk ) than he had done in the court room. He was up against a 60 year old divorcee with no counsel present. He lost . He was non existent! He does a great job writing wills but in the court room I believe he is not cut out for it.

Greg, gives a great consultation, provides a great game plan, but when it comes to following the plan and executing it is a different story. Through the whole process I never felt as though he was on my side. This firm overcharges for the value you receive from the attorney. They are quick to run up a bill with "correspondences". Where things they accomplished take minutes to achieve and they charge a substantial rate for it. At the end of the day the other side was able to come away with the better end of the stick. I was very unhappy with the service received. Please vett a different attorney and check the ratings online before selecting. I write this so you do not waste your time and money. Make sure the attorney you choose actually cares about helping you and not just taking your money. Lesson learned.

I don’t know where to start, mr babcock first of all says yes I hear you over and over again. But I’m highly doubtful of that. Leading into court he instructs to give in to this give in to that. For over a year this goes. Then court doesn’t bring up important issues. His line of questions are all the ones that I supplied, when he asked if there were anything I could think of. He did mange to ask two questions that with a simple follow up question could have proved that but he didn’t. I’m not sure why he even asked any questions at that point. Child custody lawyer well hiring him was a huge mistake and has cost dearly. But he will get his well over 20, 000 and that the most important thing here. Daniel is only interested in his money as most lawyers are. Over a two year span in and out of court Daniel Hoff was a very unprofessional lawyer. He did not keep in contact with me, he did things I told him not to. Many of these things cost me a lot of money. If you're looking for a child custody lawyer I would highly recommend not hiring this man unless you have a lot of time and money to waste with no positive results in your case!

Dan Murray was supposed to handle my child custody case. He never called me back and when he wouldn’t show up for meetings and didn’t bother to call however he did call social workers and let them know. He never gave me any of the information I requested. I finally had enough and fired him.

I'm still trying to make sense of this attorney and my experience. He requires a $3000 non-refundable retainer and then does nothing. When I say we "worked" together for 5 months and he took no action I'm not exaggerating. His communication is arrogant and spotty to say the least as he refuses to answer his clients questions. When I received no response to my emails he blamed his server, his secretary, and others collaborating with him. He can't remember basic instructions and took NO action except spending my money. When I asked about what I was being charged for he would not respond. My experience with Daniel Murray left me feeling he is somehow impaired and the key to his ability to continue to support his practice lies in his non-refundable retainer policy.
I would not recommend hiring and please do your homework reading what is available on the internet regarding his performance. This was an unpleasant experience and waste of time and money.

I hired Jane for a family law case. She was professional, attentive, personable, accommodating and very knowledgeable. She did not "nickel and dime" me to death by charging for every LITTLE thing she did. She was very realistic about where she thought I stood in the matter and did not sugarcoat anything along the way. I don't think I would have had the same wonderful outcome if I had not had Jane as my lawyer.

I hired Brian for post divorce problems with my ex, specifically my ex denying placement and attempting to alienate our daughter. Brian is compassionate, proficient, extremely knowledgeable, well versed, and aggressive. He will stand up for you. I've had numerous well known attorneys during my lengthy divorce. None even remotely compared to Brian's ability and results. His courtroom/trial capability and performance are stellar and at the top of his profession. He honestly doesn't miss a beat in court and his tenacity is incredible! I could not be happier. I would highly and strongly recommend Brian in the most complicated and conflicting divorce case. He is the best. His communication skills are excellent. He is on top of all the details. He is worth every penny!!!

Rita appeared to care at our first visit. After I hired her, it would often take several days to a week before she would get back to me, and when she finally did, she did not answer all my questions. Worst of all, she filed paperwork and made appointments without even informing me she was doing so. Even the other party was upset about this. Perhaps she simply wasn't interested in my case; I'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt, but this was my experience, and I'm grateful I had other alternatives--as in, an attorney who treats my case with utmost respect and careful attention.

We hired Ann for a very emotionally charged custody case. Ann was driven by money and several times unprepared in the court room and when she did speak she would not even know my child's name as she would call my child by another name. She did NOT represent nor fight for my childs best interests thus in one situation losing the argument that my 7 year old child should be picked up by his mother after school and allowing my child's fathers girlfriend of 3 months to pick my child up. She is completely self absorbed and will charge you outlandish fees and do nothing for you. Theres too many other attorneys out there... run from her or get ready to lose custody and all your money.

I hired her for a child support dispute. I was not happy with how she handled my case. She did not inform me of my options, and the course she took ended with my child's support being set at $126/mo. The next lawyer I hired was great, and my case ended with my child's support being set at $468. She wasted my time and money.

I would never recommend this "guardian" EVER... she was guardian for my kids since 2022 and did absolutely nothing for them. Didn't have a recommendation until the day of court, said she was only give my ex every other weekend, than last minute threw in once a week once a month during summer. My ex is an addict, controlling, manipulative, narcissistic, frantic lunatic, who does nothing but put our kids in the middle, question them until they give him something and can't get past anything.
This "guardian" is no guardian.. she shouldn't have the job she has. She should be flipping burgers at McDonald's. She wasn't there for my kids. Nor did she do anything positive for my children. She has known my ex since he was 5. That should of been conflict of interest. She gave him more than he deserves, now I will spend forever in fear of my kids while in his care because this women didn't do her job..

Lynn communicates well, responding to emails promptly, for the most part.
My biggest complaint, she was well aware of past violence. During my divorce, my soon to be ex was constantly tormenting me, covering cameras, banging on my door around 2am, playing music at early hours after drinking at a bar, used my tooth brush to clean the shower. This exasperated my mental health issues. I begged Lynn to get him out. But she didnt. It wasnt until he locked me out that Lynn address the issue with opposing counsel. "High conflict" divorced pay well.

I had been warned by other attorneys about hiring Lynn's firm because their billing is consistently so exorbitant, but despite the warnings I contacted Lynn for help on a very specific child custody issue because I was willing to pay for an attorney that could get things done. I met with her twice and paid her a very substantial advance fee for the filing of the required motion and legal representation at the subsequent hearing. She never filed the motion or did any of the legal work that I paid the advance fee for, but she charged me $1,000, after the fact, for those "consultations". Be wary of writing her a check for advance fees - she'll deplete those funds with unreasonable billings before she even begins to work your case.

Do NOT hire this man. I can't stress that enough. There is nothing good about him. Arrogant yet unprofessional in almost every way. He took advantage of my vulnerable position by burning through the retainer fee and then suggesting I hire someone else. He was unprepared for meetings, got lost in the details of my case, and I even caught him shopping online during one of my meetings. He was disrespectful and perpetually irritable. His carelessness and mistakes cost me dearly in the outcome of my life and well being. He talks a big game at the beginning but could care less about the outcome of the case. He wants easy money. She took my daughter and placed her with her dad after me having her with me since she was 3 she placed my babies with there dad only gave me 2 days out of the month to see my kids ! She does not know anything about my ex not his place and all my kids sharing a one bedroom and she don’t care but I have a three bedroom and she said my daughter not well adjusted when my daughter had everything she needed and so many people who love her and supported her My daughter is not well in her mind now since she has separation anxiety from me and her dr said she does not do good in new places and my daughter can’t handle it !! This lady Didn’t do her job and she lied to the courts said she talked to my witnesses and she didn’t talk to any of them ! Genelle was rude, short tempered, and unprofessional. She communicated with me very poorly. I only had three actual phone calls with her, and one one of those was to discuss her fee. She describes herself as a pit bull, and she was- to me! I would definitely not recommend this pit bull, unless you want to get bitten! Thankfully, my case ended satisfactorily, but it was more in spite of Genelle, and not because of her!

I can't say much for the PD case reviews, but as a family law attorney Genelle is exceptional. Her knowledge of parental rights and custody are on point. She will not blindly take her clients side as other attornies do (and waste your money and motions), and provides her client "the whole picture" of possibilities and options. She is reasonable, fair, and always has gotten back to me about my questions. We won our child custody case, had child support adjusted, and have all of our co-parenting issues nearly ironed out.
If you have any cases regarding your child, Genelle is the one to go to. She fights for whats in the child's best interest.

My ex and I were forced to use this guy for a third lawyer for the kids. All he did was sit on his phone and the whole time and collect our money. We both were there separately and he did it to both of us. The state made us hire him. Paid 950 bucks for him to sit on his phone for an hour. The state needs to look into this. Never received a copy of services rendered or any break down of how he charged us. These lawyers think they can and will take advantage of people because they are going through a rough patch in life. Very biased against men. I had completed everything necessary and she stated I would ultimately end up with 50/50 of my daughter.. she ended up doing exactly the opposite of what she said. She was a poor communicator. Sides with the mother even with an actively involved father. So sad she is a gaurdian as litem when she has no care for the fathers getting any sort of placement.

She was assigned to my 5 month old grandson for paternity hearing that the parents had the hearing lasted about 20 minutes and they were charged for her services but can't get her to answer any letters or phone calls to see how much they owe because they have to send in $25.00 a month each parent for her so called services.
