I hired Danielle just over five years ago. When I met with Danielle, I just knew she was the absolute best fit for me. There is a very simple reason why Danielle is so well-liked: she is a talented and outstanding attorney who works for her clients as if they were her personal friend or family member. I had the good fortune to find her in my search for new representation after a serious child custody crisis. I had to resolve financial things, but those were a piece of cake in comparison to the issues with my daughter. I still remember the first time I met Danielle because her knowledge, professionalism, honesty and genuine demeanor was strikingly different from the attorney I had worked with and the experiences I had had. She skillfully brought calm to a very emotional and chaotic situation. My ex was toxic and terrible for my daughter who had very specific and special needs. Danielle had the right energy and compassion to understand what I needed, what my daughter needed, and the grit to help us get there. Danielle worked steadfastly for me. It was not always easy, but Danielle kept me informed of the pros and cons every step of the way. She let me make the choices, but she held my hand as I did and ensured I knew exactly what I was doing before I had to make any decisions. Danielle was phenomenal during the time she worked on my custody case. Almost 2 years ago today I made the very difficult decision to end my 2 decades of marriage after my "I do" became an "I don't". The associated legal process of separation and divorce in North Carolina is complex; however consulting with and ultimately hiring Theresa E. Viera was a life-saving move on my part. Theresa is a great teacher and explains each part of the process in a manner that allows you to make the best decisions possible during a highly emotional time. She is well respected in the community and the courthouse and runs a firm full of legal experts who are life-saving. I am a resident of another state and Theresa Viera represented me in a case in North Carolina. I was unfamiliar with various antiquated laws in N.C. I initially hired a different attorney/firm and that experience was awful. I was quite scared about what could happen with my case and I luckily found new representation in Theresa. What a difference maker. She was well-versed on the specific laws and right away made me feel less stressed. I am writing this letter to recommend Will Medlin as a family law attorney. My case, as most, was complexed and messy. Will was simply amazing. Every turn of event and every time I had any issue he was on top of it and always responded to my every question, issue, etc. even when I know he was not in the office! He was very patient with me and respectful in all aspects. He always prepared me for what I feel was 100% accurate. Many attorney's I have found will tell you what you would "like to hear," however this was never once the case with Will. I am very happy to have chosen Will. The firm was also very accommodating and very easy to work with. If I could give more than 5 stars I certainly would. I approached the Law Office of Kelli Allen in about February of this year ( 2023) to help me submit my Green Card Application. I was assigned to Berna Chacon- a bilingual specialist in data accumulation for Green Card submissions. Thank G-d I was. She was absolutely outstanding. I mean truly- it took me a while to accumulate the necessary data ( necessary being whatever Berna told me to put together) and we submitted my application in June of this year. Today is November 24, 2023, and guess what- I have my Green Card Truly great work by Berna -what a help she was! I couldnt have done it so seamlessly without her!. Prices at this office are reasonable to. And nice, and accomodating people! I would go out of my way to recommend this law office and Berna to handle anybody's immigration matters. What a great job they did and I am one happy camper!

Worst law firm that I have ever dealt with. I would totally recommend someone else. Southpark family law is unprofessional on all levels. They will not take time for you nor your case but will take the time to collect or ask about there money over and over. They don’t follow their own contracts. You can never get a hold of Meg and then you have multiple people in your file when you hired only one lawyer. I really don’t understand how any of them have there License to do this. I’m telling yall to stay away from this law firm, they will totally disappoint you.

I paid this firm over a month ago to complete a simple deed transaction for me. We had a call to discuss exactly what I needed and was assured this was not a problem. They would never respond to me by phone even though I was told I would be called back by the receptionist on multiple occasions. Over the month I never received details on the process. At the end of the month they sent me an email to tell me they were not experienced enough to handle my simple deed transfer and refunded me my money. Throughout the process I simply needed follow up or a call to discuss the status. I don't like to leave a bad review but this was very disappointing.

Chelsea Gajewski is an absolutely stellar attorney. Beyond being in a position where I needed her services to handle custody, it was a wonderful experience working with her. She consistently did a wonderful job informing and guiding my decision making. I can imagine it can be difficult to tell clients when something is unrealistic or unlikely, but I was most grateful for the hard advice. It gave me confidence in knowing that I was being advised on my best interests, as opposed to just being told what I want to hear. As emotionally taxing as the process can be, I was appreciative of the kind words of encouragement she offered. I couldn't be happier with the result Bree from Arnold & Smith obtained in my family law case. Before retaining the firm, I was with another attorney who closed up shop with virtually no notice. Bree not only handled a lot of the behind the scenes grind on my custody case, but also took the lead on another important issue for me. She was always very responsive to my emails, called me even after-hours to discuss my case, was on-time to court, and her court room presence was awesome. She made my case look almost too easy, even though I know it was a complicated issue. I walked out of court with what I needed, and it was a great experience.
She was also instrumental in resolving my custody issue, handled really tough negotiations, and brought the case to a great conclusion along with her colleague Matt Arnold. She may not tell you what you want to hear, but she will tell you the truth, and that is very important in these types of cases. She is clearly experienced, and that experience equaled a more precise attorney, which in turn reduced costs. I know this is something on everyone's mind that has to get an attorney.
I have no doubt that anyone that works with Bree will know immediately they got the right person for the job. All you have to do is *follow her instructions*, give her the facts, and do your part, and I believe Bree will get the best possible results for your situation.

Initially, I was very nervous about choosing an attorney. However, my first (no commitment) meeting with a McIlveen attorney in July 2015 was pretty satisfactory. Last week we had our mediation which wrapped up all the loose ends and I think the final deal was fair to both parties. She took on my case after I made the decision to switch attorneys in what had become a very drawn out custody issue. I followed Jovanna through several firms throughout my case which ended up going to trial for custody. She was not very responsive on regular, non-urgent matters which I came to realize is because she is rightfully quite busy with other cases as well. There were several instances involving snatching in my case though and she responded immediately and appropriately in those urgent instances. At trial, she was well prepared, focused and concise in her questioning. She did not waste time on questions that were irrelevant to the case and ultimately helped me win primary custody as a working father. She was also very professional and helpful during meditations. I feel she did a great, professional job and spent her time wisely on my case. I would recommend her to anyone and advise that sometimes they need to be patient and be their own advocate as well, but she will fight for you and be a great value for you.

Our firm consulted providence Law and had a very bad experience. Lets start with basics. The law firm required basic information, what is your firms name, what is the owners name, what is the address etc. and why are you requiring our services. We provided. 2nd step, make payment. Done. 3rd step is for Providence Law to execute. Well guess what, nope. Providence Law repeats step 1. and sends you an invoice for step 2. Well, here comes time for step 3... Nope not again, another one of their representative will call you and repeat step 1 and step 2 and send you an invoice for it. In step 1 and 2 you end up paying $6k in fees. Yes, they did file something, finally they did something, a filing of about 2k’s worth. And then they send you a termination letter when you don’t want to repeat step 1 and 2 any longer. When you try to call and call for an explanation they DON’T ANSWER but send you a legal letter stating representation is terminated. LOL, WOW... I am trying to warn anyone out there..
Well Guess what providence Law. I am not asking for any additional legal services, I’ve been calling you NOT for additional services, NO sir, all I’ve been calling, calling for our original documentation but you guys don’t respond. I will now publicly ask for our original documents filed. Which NEVER previously provided, NO, NO, NO.. Do not say you have originally provided the document. That will be a lie.. after many calls you finally after me proving you never originally gave us documentation, you sent original filings. But there has been lot more documents missing. If you called me Mr. Craig Morgan I could have explained, but you never returned our calls, not even to explain why termination. And I’ve been calling and calling to ask for original documentation but no response. Legal letter you sent saying copies of our documentation will be sent for additional cost. $8k later... WOW...people this is called a legal robbery. Be careful everyone. Don’t Call Providence Law. Do Not seek their consultation. You won’t get anything but a bill for What is You Name.

Going through a divorce is not fun for anyone and hiring Tonya absolutely helped me through this chapter. Having an attorney who genuinely cared about me and my daughter made all the difference. Tonya is knowledgeable in all areas of family law.
At times when I didn't think the laws were fair, her expertise navigated me through. She provided encouragement when I needed it and kept things real. No one wins in these situations, but I believe everything turned out as good as it could. I initially hired a different attorney that I was referred to. Roughly 2.5 weeks in I knew I needed to make a change quickly. I'm so happy I made that change as quickly as I did to retain Tonya. My consult with her was 90 minutes which I loved because it gave me time to go over everything with her and for her to come up with a plan of action right on the spot. At the end of a long and tumultuous separation and divorce, I am pleased with the outcome Tonya was able to obtain for me and my kids. I don't say any of this lightly and truly believe the universe was looking out for me. Tonya is extremely skilled in many areas of the law. She's strategic, kind, ethical, and honest. The amount of attention and detail she put into my case while working on so many other cases impressed me. Some other things that stand out to me is her work ethic and genuine care for my kids and I. I went through two mediations with her and she's top notch at negotiations and and has strong argument skills. Seriously the best!
Tonya went above and beyond to help me with mindset and see things a different way which helped me become a better person through this very difficult time in my life. I never felt judged by her when crying as much as I did when having to speak to her about some of the awful things that happened to me in my marriage. Tonya always explained the law to me while still hearing what my goals were and tried her best to help me reach each them. While working on each step of the process, she put a tremendous amount of detail into her instructions to set me up for success.
One example of her work ethic is when working on Discovery for me, there was a mishap with one of her emails making it's way to my spam folder instead of my inbox. This caused her to not hear back from me for the last and final step, yet she still made it a point to get it filed in time. She really left no stone unturned through each step.
I appreciate that Tonya didn't just tell me what she thought I wanted to hear, she was straight forward with me about the laws and specifically in my county (Union County, NC). She had many ideas to help my case...some I was on board with and others I wasn't always crazy about, but one thing is for sure, she was always accurate and I saw results in my favor many times. I quickly realized that I can trust her and she is HIGHLY SKILLED at her craft.
Her follow up and follow through is impeccable! She's not just any attorney, she also shows her human side which is the perfect mix I needed. I could not have made it through this divorce without her and very highly recommend scheduling a consult with her if you're looking for a family law attorney in Mecklenburg or Union County, NC. I could probably write a novel about my experience with Tonya, but these are just some highlights. :-)
Some words of advice to keep in mind is that attorneys are not perfect (because they are human), the laws aren't always fair and nobody truly "wins" in divorce. Tonya definitely stands out as one of the best of the best!

When I met with Ms. Graser, she was unbelievably condescending and patronizing. I felt like I subjected myself to be looked down on by her rather than receive actual, helpful advice. She needs to find another career where empathy and compassion is not required or where a cold, robotic demeanor is appreciated. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a family law attorney who actually cares - Ms. Graser isn’t it.

This staff is a the worse I ever have spoken to, I was, referred y my cousin carlos portillo the attorney queen has his case , he told me he walked in and really fast spoke with the lawyer, but I had very bad experience with the rude stuff, there I waited for over a month for an interview with the lawyer, but I miss the appointment, cuz I was sick and else forgot, cus so long, so I call to see if I could at least do tbe interview over the phone but they. Were mad when they talk to me , saying it’s my responsibility, yes and many other things, I can’t say, I don’t understand how they keep Mr queen a good business I guess he works hard for it cuz with stuff like this, is going to lose costumers, I will calm all my family and friends I’ve been here for 27 years I know Olot ppl, and ppl that works for the radio station, maybe this way they change this stuff, of the attorney finds out about it,

I highly recommend staying away from this firm and Trent Grissom. He was told to file a simple insurance claim 4 times. None of which did. He was fired. I posted a negative review on Google and he threatened to *sue me for defamation* really Trent?? Is this the type of attorney you would use??? I would recommend reading other website reviews which are poor. They will charge you for every small email even when it is unsolicited.

**Don't even bother wasting you're time with this 3rd string pack of attorney rejects. Trent Grissom will tell you 'oh it's my specialty...no problem'. You will then be forced to explain your case several times to him and then put it in writing, all after paying for your official consultion. He is unable to find any solution. They merely just want to run up your bill with redundent question and tactics. There is always exuses for not receiving updates (moving offices, sick, vacation and court - really??). I spent one year with this 'unimaginative clown' and accomplished zero. **Read the real reviews, NOT Google reviews. Poor office support as well. **Avoid at all costs** How anyone who could rate this firm a 4 or 5 must have been paid to do so.👎
