An absolute amazing man and a wonderful staff to match. I didn't know how to use technology when he helped me in my time of need. So this is a few years after the matter. My husband had just passed away and I found out the insurance company didn't want to pay up. My sister referred me to this angel. He got me my husband's policy I was owed. It was a hard time for me and I didn't know how to deal with this part and i was crying uncontrollably . He was so professional, yet an understanding human. He told me to ake all the time I needed, because the thought of signing these papers seemed so final on his death, that it was a realization to me that he was really never going to come back to me. It's going to be 8 years on the 24th of February. Not a day goes by that I remember the kindness that he and his staff gave me, as this was and still is the first REAL loss (close to me), that I've experienced. Thank you cannot begin to express or acknowledge the respect, and love I have for this man and his staff. Thank you isn't enough for the help and genuine thoughtfulness y'all showed me.

While I was nervous, he was calm, he helped me see reason, weigh my options for me to have a successful divorce.

Sometimes life throws a bunch of things your way that necessitates not only hiring one lawyer, but possibly many. If you're at the point when you're looking for an appellate lawyer, please know you have my sympathy. It's a place I never thought I'd end up.
Bill was one of three names that I was given by my attorney, and he was also the attorney who came up when I spoke to other attorneys and paralegals I knew. There really aren't that many who truly specialize in this field... who are Florida Bar rated in appellate law...and who've tried the number of cases Bill has before the Florida District Courts and even Florida Supreme Court.
I found that some people who say they've done appeals, really haven't done all that many. You can actually research your potential attorneys on the 1dca.org website. It's a small bunch of those who are truly experienced.
From the get-go, you know that you're talking to a person who has years of experience handling appeals and will truly do all he can for your case. He also promised me "brutal honesty" with regards to my case--which is something I respect. He's also a really nice guy.
Appeals are not cheap, but Bill's hourly rate is, by all accounts, fair. Given the level of experience, he could easily charge more.
My only regret is not consulting him sooner when it looked like an appeal may be likely. Don't make my same mistake.
Update: Experience matters. There's a difference between 30 and 300 cases. There's a reason Bill's name is always included when attorneys are asked for an appellate lawyer recommendation. I knew he was experienced, but I didn't really get it until I read his work for my case. He meticulously chooses each word and crafts a well thought out argument with case law to back up his point of view. Comparing his work to those of my Ex's attorney--made it apparently clear that experience matters and his reputation is justified. We won, BTW.

I hired Jay Henderlite to be my lawyer for a case involving a relocation with two of my children. He was recommended by my father in law. He was always honest with me from the beginning about how hard it was to win this type of case but not impossible. He was very knowledgeable about my type of case. On the day of our scheduled court date I was very impressed. He showed up overly prepared for our case. He had all of our evidence and pictures neatly printed in notebooks for all of us to see in court (including the judge & my ex & his lawyer). I would highly recommend him to anyone I know in the future for anything involving family law.

Very professional but compassionate. Efficient, prompt, dedicated, not just him but his entire team. After an experience with a previous attorney, Mr. Treece changed my perspective and it was a fabulous experience. We were referred to this lawyer by a previous Duval county (Florida) judge after the separation of the unwed parents of a child with the indication that the mother might leave the state with the child and will not return. Florida law does not grant legal rights to an unwed father until paternity, time-sharing and shared responsibilities are established in court.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the result of this temporary hearing, giving credit to Debra and Thomas Treece. We are still waiting for the final hearing and hope that the Treece law team will continue to represent us fairly and honestly.
The Treece law team does not shoot for bashing the opposite party. From the beginning on, it was clear that they want a fair and honest outcome with no lies and only honesty. The reason to seek help was to fairly establish legal rights for the father and do all we can to benefit the child. The Treece law team maintained to fairly reach an agreement and asked for the continuation of the child's primary parent, which is tough to establish if it is the father who performed most parental responsibilities.
One "thing" I would like to mention is that I wish that the Treece law team would be more readily available when the father has an IMMEDIATE legal question, due to the mother using unfair tactics, lies and accusations that are unwarranted. I would love to at times receive a quick, brief legal advise right then and there, though acknowledge that we are not their only clients.
If you are looking for an aggressive lawyer to bash your opponent, keep looking. If you are looking for an aggressive FAIR lawyer, "fighting" for what is the honest truth and the best for the child, you found a calm legal team working for you.

Once my daughter received an order from the court, my daughter interviewed with many other attorneys. They would only allow her to talk with them. Upon meeting Mrs. Treece, I felt an immediate connection to her and Mr. Treece. In my opinion, they are like family to us. They are very approachable as well as professional. My daughter who is a new attorney herself knew this case needed experienced attorneys that would give her their best efforts. According to my daughter at trial, they did just that. Take you time and money elsewhere. I can’t fathom how this business has any good reviews. I hired this firm to take care of a criminal misdemeanor charge for me. They answered my call and took my money so fast but the second I needed guidance or assistance regarding my case they were no where to be found. I woke up to a text from my attorney at 4:30 in the morning the day I was supposed to appear in court with a warning that I would have a bench warrant out for my arrest if I did not show. During my case I went through two attorneys because the first one quit the firm due to being overworked and not aligning with the morals of the firm. He made me aware of the fact that I was charged $500 for paralegal fees when the firm doesn’t employ any paralegals. This was confirmed to be true by my second attorney. Both attorneys were verbal about their dislike for John Musca because of his scammy business practices. When I called over the phone to speak with the man who took my money and my case I couldn’t get through. Once again STAY AWAY! There are plenty of lawyers willing to take your money, do yourself a favor and give it to anyone except John Musca.

I want to thank God that we found Cindi ! When things look grim and hopeless for my daughter and children I believe we were guided to Cindi. The previous lawyer my daughter had was useless and kept telling her she had to keep going back into a home that was dangerous for her and our grandchildren because of domestic violence.

Since the beginning, they were upfront with timing, prices, and possible outcomes. She works with you , and explains the process with everything that’s going on when it’s actually happening so you don’t feel lost. My particular case, at one point, escalated to another case and she managed it great. She definitely sticks with you no matter the situation, because at the end , during these types of situations that is what one truly most desired to feel backed up and secure. I chose Brian Roberts as my lawyer because, in his words, he "is NOT the type of divorce attorney that pours gasoline on the fire." His intent is to separate two people fairly and as amicably as possible.
I have a 13-year old son who is my whole world. Often there is a misconception that fathers have zero rights for custody and visitation. This is incorrect. Fathers have equal rights, and the state of FL emphasizes the importance of both parents involved in their childrens' lives.
My divorce started out amicably, then descended into hell...as my wife hired an attorney who did nothing but "pour gasoline on the flames."
Brian really knows the law and how to fight the tactics adopted by "bottom feeder" lawyers interested in nothing but increasing their fees.
Brian and his Assistant helped me through this incredibly stressful period of my life...from keeping me informed of my rights, responding to my wife's lawyer's numerous attempts to delay and confuse the issue, and giving me last minute pointers one night when my visitation was threatened.

I hired this firm to take on a security negligence case. We’re I suffered a severe TBI back in December 2021 .. About a year later I questioned whether or not this attorney and this firm was capable of handling this type of case because I had doubts. I let Mr. Studer convince me to keep him as my attorney , so I did. When I finally had enough and I reached out to him to fire him, Seth Studer told me you don’t have to fire me because I’m stepping down from practicing Law. I said that might be best. Mr. Studer never called me one time over the 2+ years he had my case and asked me how I was doing , I’m not exaggerating. I have phone records to prove it phone records to prove how many times he ignored. My calls ignored my text messages and how many times he did call me the phone Records don’t lie. This wasn’t a simple car accident. This is a traumatic brain injury case , I’m not the same person I used to be. I feel like this attorney should have checked on me periodically return those text messages and those calls. I notified this attorney six or seven times throughout the course of two years telling him that I was feeling suicidal.. And that I wanted to know why I was having these thoughts that started every since I endured this horrific night and downtown Orlando it’s not that I want to kill myself, but I can’t control the thoughts. Good thing I didn’t kill myself. I wouldn’t be able to create this post right now. Thank God .. This firm should have gotten me some psychological treatment he should have sent me to a psychiatrist , he should have done a lot of things, but he didn’t. I will be filling out the Florida Bar Complaint and it’s going to start there. I can’t post all the screenshots of all the text messages that he didn’t reply to, but I can provide them to the Flordia Bar and I plan on it. I’ve retained two other law firms to take over the case, and they immediately put me in treatment for depression psychiatric reasons to find out why I’m having suicidal thoughts Tbi Treatment centers. I’m now getting the help and seeing the doctors that I should’ve been seen since Mr. Studer took my case, but he wasn’t sending me to any doctors and I trusted him is sad to say the different brain doctor that I’m seeing today have All told me why are you starting treatment three years after the injury you should’ve been receiving treatment when it happened so hopefully at that point in time I had a better chance at potential recovery but because I waited so long the doctors don’t think seeking treatment now is going to do any good and this is sad very emotional. I wouldn’t recommend this Law Firm to anybody out there all these Law Firm say they have the clients best interest the interest they have is the money going in their pocket And this is a prime example it said to say again this was the worst day of my life. It changed my life forever and I wish that I never hired this Seth stutter or firm in general because it wasn’t just Seth Studer. It was the Firm and that’s exactly what Studer told me . Make sure when hiring a lawyer, just because there websites say “ auto accident, slip n fall, security neglect “ doesn’t mean they have actually tried one of those types of cases before, just means there Liscence to take on that particular type of case. So please I give y’all some advice, attorneys are quick to send out electronic signatures needed for the victim to sign, So you don’t call around anywhere else. Robert was awesome to work with. My case took years to resolve and i never felt out of the loop. I could always get ahold of him through text, calls, or emails. He took what we needed into account and always made sure we were able to get the treatment we needed for our injuries. In the long run we were able to settle right as the trial started and we are happy to have our future treatment and more secure.
