Steven listened to the concerns and issues there were. He always gave advice on how to react based on his many years of experience. Even though the case took nearly a year he was on top of it the whole time. He got the best results possible for my daughter! He stood behind our choices. We won for her benefit, with some of the best wins ever, because he always had her best interest at the forefront. I will recommend Steven for any family law cases with abuse. What age joke!!!!! Julie k Casalone which is a attorney for bankruptcy! Tried going for a collection off a credit company bought it and tried charging 1554.00 dollars for a 794.00 charge, somehow changed my courtdate so I wasn't present to represent myself and gave me false information from the first trial.. wasted my time seeking debt solution when it was too late!!!! A sorry excuse, and a waste of air for people like this to thank they are above people, buying people debt and making money off of them!!!!! Total scum

I couldn't be more grateful to Doug and his firm for the help they gave me. Roundabout 2 years ago now, I was facing a pretty scary legal situation that dropped on me out of the blue, and was lucky enough to be introduced to Doug through a mutual friend. I'd never been in any kind of legal trouble, and I was completely freaked out and totally lost. He called right away, patiently explained the plan, was attentive, confident, trustworthy and just knew exactly what to do. I can't tell you how much better I felt just knowing that he was on my side. In the blink of an eye, he got the case against me dropped. Hands down, Maggie is one of most knowledgeable regarding family law. She gave sound guidance and was straight forward on what where we stood. Maggie and her team worked tirelessly to mediate with my ex-husband and attorney however ultimately, we had to go to trial. Told me 1500 to do an eviction. Send me the paperwork which is free from the court, then said it was cheaper for me to do the eviction myself but he would talk me through it instead of representing me after I already paid him the money. Would trust him if I was you.

Probably the BEST Family Law Attorney in the Ozarks! Shelly Reece and her staff were VERY professional and extremely helpful when it came to looking over my divorce paperwork to ensure I wasn't getting the short end of the stick.
She is the ONLY Family Law attorney I recommend and she's worth every cent! And every person I have referred to her has said the same thing!

Update and response - Let me correct the record, I called ur office to pay the $2500 retainer via credit card and ask a few legal questions and asked for Shelly but the secretary answering the phone was attempting to give legal advice over the phone, which is a violation of state laws, then she insinuated improprieties between the judges and attorneys stating that " they all know each other" and other things I won't mention here. I let her know that those comments and her legal opinon were inappropriate, then a few hours later we got a call from your office stating that y'all were no longer interested in the case. No need to doubt me cause I recorded the conversation with her in full (Missouri is a one party state)! Let me know if I need to forward it to the BAR for review. Thanks for wasting our time!👎👎

Casey Elliott provided top-notch legal service to a friend of mine who was an Air Force veteran with cancer and in hospice care. Casey came to the Hospitals at both Boone and later at VA to get the information needed and to get the necessary legal documents executed by him in a timely manner. Because of her speedy assistance, when my friend passed away only weeks later he did so with the peace of mind that his legal affairs were in good order and that his wife would also be in good legal shape. Jennifer was our attorney for a custody case. She did an excellent job. She is thorough, hard working, and very knowledgable in the area of family law. She has parenting experience of her own and she does a wonderful job of figuring out what is best for the children, not the parents. IMHO, that is the most important thing a family attorney can do. I have a lot of respect for Jennifer and I would highly recommend her.

This woman is totally corrupt and only interested in an easy paycheck. As evidenced by her actions, she has absolutely zero concern for what is right or fair in any capacity. She will represent your interests only as far as it does not interrupt her own.
She will suppress anything that might make her actually have to work and do her job with any degree of integrity. Nor is she interested in any evidence or hard facts that really matter unless it serves her own agenda. She has absolutely zero integrity and couldn't be a more corrupt and unfit attorney if she tried. Do not hire her if you want to be rightly represented.

Jennifer is an amazing attorney who always has the child and clients best interest at heart. She fought for and achieved what was the best outcome for my child with schooling and custody. She was always available by email or phone when I had concerns and/or questions, and she always kept me in the loop as to what was going on with the case. She was also very informative in explaining the common practices involved legally with every aspect of my case. I would highly recommend her for any type of case where children are involved.

I engaged Tonya after having to transfer counsel from a collaborative practice attorney when the respondent chose a litigator. Things started out well, but concern increased as my assigned attorney, Ms. Khofeld, had trouble grasping the core financial issue and did not seem comfortable stating a strong position to opposing counsel. Repeated settlement proposals from Page Law progressively eroded my position and gave ground to opposing counsel and when Tonya became personally involved I did not see the direction turn around. We were going to give yet more ground in hopes that we could settle. I lost confidence in counsel and transferred again. I would not be critical of Page Law but for the behavior of my third attorney, who aggressively represented our case, halted further appeasement and presented a settlement proposal with term far more favorable to my position, effectively pulling back 5-6 individual offers made in prior settlement proposals. Of course opposing counsel accused us of reneging, but since they chose not to sign anything, we were under no commitment. When respondent was deposed opposing attorney knew that her case was very tenuous and we settled on grounds quite favorable to my position. That never would have happened had I continued with Page Law. To be fair to Page Law they certainly know the mechanics of the process, but I have strong reservations regarding their advocacy and ability to push a position. My situation was very simple with limited property and no children. Maybe it was too simple and not within their practice scope. I really can think of no other reason why they would take so long, and accumulate such a billable hour count, to achieve nothing whereas the third counsel got a signed settlement in one fourth the time and one fourth the billable hours. Admittedly he had the benefit of the documentation Page Law accrued, but in turn Page Law had the benefit of documentation the collaborative process counsel accrued. We had to throw away Page Law's proposals and state a new one. We did not back down from the core tenets and settled.

Tonya Page , is forthright upfront. Honest trying not to waste your time or funds in unnecessary litigation . I pretty much never write reviews.
Baker Legal Services (just one guy, who does all the work himself), is everything you could want in a family law attorney. He answers his own phone and is generous with his time. His billing practices are beyond fair, and he's both very upfront about them and reasonable about payment plans. He's honest, compassionate, humane, conservative, intelligent, and honorable. My divorce was a complicated and traumatic one by anyone's standards; Daniel treated me kindly and fairly in a situation where it would have been easy to take advantage, and got a better resolution for my case than I or any of the professionals involved thought possible. Most importantly, he helped me reacclimate to normal life during a difficult period, simply by being consistent, humble, and real.
If you have pending litigation of any sort, I would recommend at least calling Baker Legal Services to see if he can help. I will trust Daniel Baker to handle any legal issue I have, and I'm not a trusting person.

Would not suggest Bradley bodeux ever he's a family attorney here I had a case he was my lawyer for and lost the case with him but that's not even the issue the issue is years later someone asked him for information from my side and he spilled it all including video from the office this person was in favor of the otherside I found this information out when I started talking to the other side about going back to court. DO NOT TRUST HIM HE WILL TELL PEOPLE YOUR PRIVATE STUFF AND NOT FOLLOW CONFIDENTIALITY!

If their was a option for no stars I would put it!! HIGHLY RECOMEND NOT USING THEM! They are highly unprofessional! Emily is not sympathetic to my case. This should have been a very easy cut and dry case! The GAL has even stepped in on multiple occasions to defend me and my son. As being the mom who has taken care of her son almost 10 years all by herself. Wasn't getting much positivity from Emily. I will say Nick her ex Assistant was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! He was very kind, understood my situation, was very empathetic to my case and did everything in a timely manner. He even gave me words of encouragement telling me I am a great mom. As for Emily I will not refer anyone to her . She did not fight for me especially the way she should have. I didn't even get child support nor 10 years of back paid child support which should have been done. Every time I asked she kept pushing me of and saying it will be done by the end of the day and never was filed which should have been the first thing she should have done!

I'm not going into detail, and all, but you know when you think you're smart, and you got it all figured out? This man knows his stuff. He blew my mind on what is what. He's been studying law his whole life. He's got way more years over others. Thank god I talked to him. He gave me a free consultation, and hes giving my spouse one as well to inform her in person. The word incompetent doesn't do him justice. He deserves negative stars. He is so careless and lazy, he could end up costing you thousands upon thousands, ON TOP of his regular billed services. He just agrees with opposing counsel without even looking things over (nevermind drawing up paperwork to support his own client). I don't know how he's still allowed to practice. In my opinion, it's malpractice. Do. Not. Hire.

Lost all my savings and 10k in debt almost 3 years and the case is still going on. Highly suggest you avoid this lawyer at all costs. She will charge you thousands of dollars and keep your case going despite what you tell her to do. She spent over 3 years on my case and got me absolutely nothing in the end, specifically she got me exactly what I didn't want. Majority of the time she is unresponsive to emails, she lies to your face then goes behind your back and signs orders you didn't discuss with her or even agree to... she's a fraud and stuck up. I would like to give no stars. Highly disassociated in her ability to assist with my case. Do not hire her.

I have two children which are teens at this time. I have been in their lives everyday since they been born. 2017 went thru divorce, I am the Constodial Parent. Since Mr Hawkins has been representing my ex wife since 2021 for financial gain purposes I haven't seen or heard from my children a bit. Due to Mr Hawkins having pull thru the Jasper County Courts System and With the G.A.L that is represented on my case. I have tried everything to have contact with my kids. Mr Hawkins is even going against Judges Order and not sending them to their home to see their Father. MR HAWKINS IS NEVER IN THE BEST INTEREST FOR THE CHILDREN IN ANY CASE.
